Wyatt Russell is teasing what Marvel fans can expect from 'Thunderbolts'. The actor and his father Kurt Russell sat down for a conversation at 92NY to talk about their Apple TV+ series 'Monarch: Legacy of Monsters'. But first, Wyatt broke some news when moderator Josh Horowitz asked about his role in the upcoming Marvel movie 'Thunderbolts'. He told the crowd, "We have almost started shooting that about 14 times."

00:00Wyatt Russell is teasing what Marvel fans can expect from Thunderbolts.

00:04The actor and his father, Kurt Russell, set down for a conversation at 92 NY on Wednesday

00:09to talk about their Apple TV Plus series, Monarch Legacy of Monsters.

00:13But first, Wyatt broke some news when moderator Josh Horowitz asked about his role in the upcoming Marvel movie, Thunderbolts.

00:19He told the crowd that due to the Hollywood strikes, we have almost started shooting that about 14 times.

00:24The actor also revealed that he has not read a finished script yet.

00:27Despite that, he said, I have confidence it's going to be good.

00:30I know everybody is sort of on this Marvel train right now of things not going so well.

00:35He went on to commend the film's director, saying,

00:37I know Jake so well, and I know how smart Jake is, and how much he cares about making something interesting and different

00:42and utilizing everyone's talents to the best of their ability.

00:46And the story that I think they've come up with is really interesting.

00:49I know parts of the story and how the story works, I can't talk about it.

00:52But it's not a straightforward Marvel movie as you've seen in the past.

00:55He continued,

00:56I think that it's going to be a lot of fun, but I think it will be something that hopefully Marvel fans will look at and go,

01:01Oh, okay, this is a little different. Let's go hard at it.

01:05And as far as how we are approaching it, it's time to go to work a little bit.

01:08It's time to make a good Marvel movie.

01:09So let's do that and work hard at it and don't take things for granted.
