Ryan Reynolds is giving fans an update on 'Deadpool 3.' The star who plays the wisecracking anti-hero took to social media to announce that the movie has officially wrapped shooting. The actor, who also co-wrote the film and is a producer, wrote, "The suit hides blood. Also sweat… But today, with 'Deadpool' wrapping, it's mostly tears. A giant and forever thanks to the cast and crew of our film who battled wind, rain, strikes and @thehughjackman… all under the stalwart leadership of @slevydirect."

00:10The actor, who also co-wrote the film and is a producer, posted this photo on Instagram and wrote,
00:15The suit hides blood, also sweat. But today, with Deadpool wrapping, it's mostly tears.
00:20A giant and forever thanks to the cast and crew of our film who battled wind, rain, strikes, and Hugh Jackman,
00:27all under the stalwart leadership of Sean Levy.
00:30He continued, I got to make a movie with my closest pals, and that doesn't happen very often.
00:34See you July 26th.
00:36Levy directed and co-wrote Deadpool 3, while Jackman co-stars as Wolverine,
00:40the character he played in numerous X-Men films, 2013's The Wolverine and 2017's Logan.
00:46Jackman also took to Instagram to celebrate wrapping the film.
00:49He shared this video shaving off his Wolverine beard and wrote,
00:52What a ride. I've loved every minute of making this movie.
00:55Well, not the 4 a.m. training, or the steamed fish and veg four times a day for six months,
01:00but the other 93.2%.
01:02A collective thank you to the entire cast and crew.
01:05You are all aces.

01:09He continued,

01:18This news comes after the SAG-AFTRA strike shut down the film in mid-July.
01:22It was one of the most noteworthy productions affected by the strike.
