00:01So yeah, we came up with this wacky idea. We've done polo on the beach in the past,

00:06we've had music events on the beach, but we've never done a big event through the

00:10winter. So the idea of being like a ski resort on a beach and therefore thinking

00:16well what could we do that would kind of be like that? Well an ice rink, Skate by the

00:21Sea, was born. A crazy idea though it is. It's here, it's a reality and we're so

00:27pleased. We're open from now through until the 11th of January. Every day except for

00:32Christmas Day and we'd love to see you down here.

00:37Hi, I'm Mark and Reti and I'm so delighted to be here at the Watergate Bay Hotel at

00:41the ice rink here that is just incredible and I've skated in rinks all around the

00:46world but this is probably one of the most special locations that I've ever skated in

00:50and the only problem for me was the distraction that that view has otherwise

00:54it is the best, the best of the best.
