00:00Kieran English, Newquay Harbour.
00:06Yeah, so it was Saturday afternoon, exploring Newquay really, because I'm new to the area.
00:13I rang up my brother and said, look, where's good fishing spots to go to?
00:17Just try and get back into fishing.
00:19And my brother said, oh, go down to Flysellers.
00:22And about five minutes after we got there, the whole cliff collapsed in front of us.
00:26Well, I think two minutes earlier, we would have potentially lost our lives, yeah.
00:30When I turned around, I was like, oh, wow, how are we going to get out?
00:34And I soon realised that we were actually stuck.
00:37We can't really climb out over the rubble in case the cliff collapses again.
00:42And then obviously everyone was like, well, we're stuck.
00:46So we called the RNLI out and thank you to them.
00:50They came and saved us pretty quickly.
00:52And within, I think, five minutes, the RNLI was down here, down out at the sea, saving us all.
00:59And then you had ambulance, police, fire, all the emergency services down here.
01:05Never in a million years did I think it happened to me.
