00:00We can go to the Niners. Brock Purdy, Ricky Pearsall are back.
00:03We can talk about a return in Cincinnati or an exiting in New York.
00:07Where do you want to go?
00:09Well, let's start with good news, which is Purdy and Pearsall finally coming back.
00:13I mean, we've been waiting forever for this.
00:15So hopefully this has a positive effect on the 49ers offense.
00:18And health has been a big issue for the 49ers all season long.
00:20We know that.
00:21So Pearsall is a tricky start, I think, this week.
00:25Purdy, obviously, is the only guy you have to start in super flex leagues.
00:27But I would throw him out there if, indeed, we are here.
00:30And it feels like, you know, ironically talking about Burrow and Purdy, it feels like Purdy probably should have had the surgery that Burrow had.
00:37Because Burrow seems like, hey, I'm feeling good.
00:39I'm healthy.
00:39I'll be back in a couple weeks.
00:40Whereas Purdy's been kind of struggle bus.
00:42Now, I don't know.
00:43I'm not a doctor.
00:44I'm not a sports medicine fantasy analyst like some people pretend to be.
00:48But I will say this, that it feels like whatever misdiagnosed or whatever they were trying to push through, it wasn't the best idea.
00:55So we'll see how healthy Purdy is and we'll see what Pearsall can bring.
00:58I think Pearsall has flex appeal, some low-end wide receiver, three appeal this week.
01:02Again, we've got to just be a little skeptical, see what he has in the tank coming back here in this first game.
01:08Joe Burrow, the practice window open for him, which means he's got 21 days since Monday to return.
01:13His target is going to be Thanksgiving night.
01:16Big game against the Ravens.
01:19So we'll see if he makes it back in time for that.
01:21And we'll also see if the Cincinnati Bengals are relevant.
01:23These last couple losses for them have been brutal.
01:25Two games that they should have won, but they did not.
01:28So now they really have their back against the wall.
01:32And while one guy has his back all the way turned around and leaving the Giants facility, it's Brian Dayball who got fired this week.
01:39And it's understandable.
01:40You can't have three games, Matt, where you have a win probability in the fourth quarter of over 90% and lose all three of them and keep your job.
01:49It's just not going to happen.
01:51So Brian Dayball might have stuck his neck out for a couple of players and had some good instincts there.
01:55That makes him a good talent evaluator.
01:57Maybe he's still a good offensive coordinator.
01:59We'll see.
02:00But as a head coach, obviously he was falling flat.
02:02And I think the Giants tried to practice some patience, and the last straw was certainly last week when Caleb Williams pulled another rabbit out of his hat for a fourth quarter victory over them.
02:11So what changes now?
02:12Jameis Winston's QB.
02:14What can we expect?
02:15Throwing of the football.
02:16We can expect Wondell Robinson, Theo Johnson.
02:19Doesn't matter how much they get behind or ahead, Jameis Winston's going to want to throw the football.
02:23So there's going to be mistakes.
02:24There's going to be touchdowns.
02:25It's going to be a crazy day.
02:26Let's get to some of the injuries, too.
02:27A lot to get to there.
02:29Devontae Adams is going to play with an oblique issue, so that's good news.
02:32We're going to talk more about him later in the show.
02:33But not playing Brian Thomas Jr.
02:36He is going to be out with an ankle injury.
02:37So Parker Washington, Jacoby Myers, the main guy's there now.
02:40Vlad McConkie is in, but J.K. Dobbins is out.
02:44So elevate R.J. Harvey in your lineups.
02:46Matt, this is huge because J.K. Dobbins has kind of been one of these guys holding back R.J. Harvey in the same Travion Henderson kind of scenario.
02:53So do you think we're going to finally get the unleashed R.J. Harvey?
02:57Well, that's the hope, right?
02:58We're hopeful for that.
02:59We saw it with Henderson, as you just said.
03:01Most analysts have been on Harvey.
03:03I'm a Harvey manager myself, so I'm hopeful.
03:05And it just feels right.
03:06I think you, before the show, were talking with our producer, T.D. Jake, about how the Broncos are there.
03:12And he made a trade for a trade-away Bo Nix.
03:16But the point of this whole thing is that I do believe that it's time for R.J. Harvey to step up.
03:19And the Broncos are for real.
