00:06and the comments that are being made by the team don't seem to me
00:10to be anything more than just eyewash at this point.
00:14Joe, I guess he has to come back in order to play,
00:18but this guy doesn't have $13 million to give back.
00:20No offense to Brandon Ayuk to the team,
00:23so I really don't know how this ends up playing out here
00:26with the idea of some sort of settlement,
00:28and then Ayuk, I suppose, would get released
00:30and go play for somewhere else.
00:31I don't see any other scenario.
00:33I don't know what team really wants him at this stage.
00:36I mean, do the Washington commanders want him now
00:38that Terry McLaurin is out?
00:39Is that just the perfect marriage of,
00:41well, there's opportunity,
00:42and you certainly need to show that you can be on your best behavior.
00:46It is a frustrating situation for Brandon Ayuk.
00:48If you told me he never played another down in the NFL,
00:50I would not be shocked about that at all,
00:52and I think George Kittle's comment said it all earlier this week.
00:56His comment was, no comment.
00:58When they asked him about Brandon Ayuk coming back into the facility,
01:01and he said, do you really think that's going to happen?
01:03He's like, you should go ask Shanahan and Lynch about that.
01:06Don't ask me these questions.
01:08I have no comment about it.
01:09So, yeah, the Ayuk situation is totally weird,
01:11and let's not forget, too, the 49ers right now,
01:14Mike Evans not playing this week,
01:16already being told by, you know, all the sources out there
01:18that he's not going to play next week either.
01:21So, Mike Evans' Achilles injury is real.
01:23We'll talk about that more with Dr. Chow, too.
01:25I know last week we touched on it,
01:27but right now DeMarcus Robinson is the number one wide receiver
01:29for the 49ers, and that cannot last if they have plans
01:32on going to a Super Bowl.
01:33They just can't have that.
01:34They have to have more depth.
01:35Maybe Deshaun Stribbling comes back by December.
01:38Maybe you get some other players get healthy.
01:40You saw Christian Kirk go back to the IR.
01:42So, the wide receiver group for the 49ers right now
01:44is just a complete and utter mess.
