00:00Finally entering and we're underway in Vancouver, Tomac with a great start, he's gonna get the
00:05hole shot on that Red Bull KTM. Wow, massive hole shot and Roxen's mid-pack. Yes he is, he's back
00:13in about 10th position, there he is right there jumping into your screen. But out front it's the
00:18Red Bull KTM of Eli Tomac with Justin Cooper right behind him on the 32 in second place. We all know
00:26that Eli Tomac loves power, wants power. I talked to Ian Harrison today after practice
00:31and he said we're giving him everything we got, he used all of it there. And look who
00:35just moved into third on the Suzuki, that's Anderson, but look at how fast Roxen has gotten
00:40into the top five. And here he comes trying to get inside of Christian Craig, that'll put
00:44him in fourth. He's got it done now, he's on his teammates backside. Yeah, Roxen made a
00:49really aggressive pass, he knows that Tomac's out front. Can he not waste any time, Anderson
00:54knows he's there, now Obre allows his teammate to go by, Roxen's up to third, closing on
01:00Cooper. Flashes of Millville, Ken Roxen goes through the field so good on opening lap, he
01:06sees the track different, he talks about the fast twitch muscles that he uses, perfect example
01:11of it there, he wastes no time on anybody on the opening laps. Ken Roxen on that progressive
01:18BMG Suzuki, going after him. He's got his teammate behind him holding down third, and he's got
01:25his arch nemesis up in front of him. All right, so here's the challenge for Ken Roxen. He needs
01:32to get past Justin Cooper, but he's also 3.1 seconds behind Tomac, so he can't lose any more
01:39time, and he has to make the move, and then try to reel in Tomac. Last time around, Tomac
01:45was a 54.1, and Roxen was a 55.3. Roxen is right there on Cooper, he's got him to the
01:51outside, into the whoops they go, and you've got a new rider in second place, his name is
01:56Ken Roxen, a two-time world supercross champ. Well, and this was my comment before the race
02:02started, I feel like the only two riders that are going to be able to make some passes if they
02:07don't get the start is going to be Tomac or Roxen. Well, Tomac didn't need it, Roxen just
02:13proved that point right, but now does he have the speed to catch Eli Tomac?
02:18Okay, a 55.2 for Tomac, a 54.6 for Roxen. The gap over the finish line jump, 2.7 seconds
02:26on that last lap. We're a fourth of the way through this one, let's see how it plays out.
02:31Well, he's got the speed, he's proven that. Now, can he sustain it, because this track is
02:36the tough as it's been all night long. Tractor's done their best, but this thing is rutted up,
02:40we're not even halfway through. Points as we run Tomac up by four, that's how they would finish,
02:46the overall would go to Tomac, and he would break the tie with Roxen. Tomac once again at the end of
02:53that whoops section, that Red Bull KTM was a little bit side to side with that rear wheel. Roxen better
03:00through the whoops that time around. Look at him cutting the turn right there, cutting down early,
03:04and staying out of all of those nasty ruts. It was a half a second quicker than Tomac.
03:10Yeah, he ran a 54.3 to a 54.8, and he shaved off a few tenths. The gap is now 2.2 between the top
03:19two as we get into lap five here. Different rhythms before that triple, Tomac doing the big line, Kenny's
03:25staying low and doing that tap off the tabletop. So I love that about this track. You don't have
03:30to take the same line. A lot of different things are working. These two are using different options.
03:35That might be the key as we close this thing down and this track tears apart. Roxen was three
03:40and a half seconds behind Tomac when he made the pass on Justin Cooper. Now it's one and a half seconds.
03:48He's chopped it in half, and we have about half of the race left to go.
03:55One thing we know that is not going to come into play here with these two athletes is fitness.
03:59They are both at the top of their game when it comes to fitness.
04:07See the two different lines. Tomac going over those breaking bumps, going to the outside. Roxen
04:13trying to draw, you know, take the shorter line to the inside. And I like what Roxen does
04:19right here. Doubles up onto the Birdman. Watch how he cuts down to a clean line.
04:25Look at this. The ultimate lap so far tonight. Tomac has put together the quickest sectors
04:31in all four here tonight. He would have the ultimate lap if you could piece the perfect lap together.
04:37He is really ripping on that Red Bull KTM. Hammering those whoops, dropped in with a little three out.
04:44They found that line. Cody Shock was doing it earlier. Kenny's done it in this race as well.
04:49Guys, as he crosses the finish line jump, Eli Tomac is halfway home here in race number three from the checkered flag.
04:57Well, the gap was one and a half seconds. Now it's almost three seconds.
05:01Yeah, 2.8. Just like that, Tomac drops the hammer. He's found his lines. He's found the groove and the focus.
05:09He had the pressure of Roxen and that intensity back there just has spurred him on. Oh, and Roxen clips a tough block.
05:18That's not going to help him at all. He's still working at the Suzuki, the number 94. He's got a lot of time left, plenty of time.
05:29But Justin Cooper hasn't fallen off the back that much either. He's still in third.
05:36Anderson has continued to hold off Christian Craig on the 28th.
05:41And behind them is Joey Savace running in sixth.
05:46Throw some respect out to those boys. Still blitzing those whoops all the way through as beat up as they are.
05:52Two of your taller riders known for their whoops speed late in this race, late in this night.
05:57Still blitzing through in their battle for fourth.
06:02Give a shout out to Henry Miller at 7th and Politelli in 8th.
06:06Zargoza, the first Stark in the race there at 9th.
06:15Anderson, he's gonna put together another good night here.
06:19He's keeping himself in championship point contention as we get ready to head to Australia.
06:26Well, and these two riders on screen right now with Anderson and Craig are two of the riders that people really hadn't paid to be the championship contenders, like the favorites to win this SX1 World Championship.
06:42Kristen, what can you tell us?
06:45Watching Ken Roxxon and Eli Tomac in these final laps, there's so much I'm noticing, guys.
06:50We are watching two Titans of this sport battle it out.
06:54And I'm noticing a lot about their riding styles.
06:57Ken Roxxon just so loose, so slowy.
07:00And then you look at Eli Tomac, structured, just pure perfection and emotion.
07:04What are you guys noticing about these two Titans in this race?
07:09Tomac, the 33-year-old out of Colorado, out front and leading here in race number three as we continue to watch Anderson and Craig fighting over fourth.
07:19Yeah, Craig's been right there.
07:21Just, I was gonna say, he's been peppering Anderson with, but I think it's the other way around, right?
07:29Anderson, that roost has just been right in Craig's face pretty much the entire race.
07:35Some of these sections like this, this turns a little bit one line.
07:38Everybody's in the same spot.
07:40You can see our overall standings as they run.
07:43Tomac would win the overall by four over Roxxon if they finish one and two like they're running right now.
07:49And Kenny has lost a little bit more ground to Eli.
07:52The gap now almost four seconds between Tomac on the Red Bull KTM and Roxxon on the Progressive Backpipes Motorsports Group Suzuki.
08:02I'm impressed with Kenny's night.
08:04I mean, it's not over.
08:06But race two, getting the win the way he did was great.
08:09But race one and race three, the starts weren't there.
08:12And he made moves, had to make passes, made them quick, and still showed those flashes that we all know he has.
08:19I mean, this has been a great night for him and his fur.
08:22Eli Tomac, so much interest in what this may look like.
08:25Jeff, Honda, Kawi, Yamaha, and now to a KTM steel frame.
08:29Like, what would it look like?
08:30And I'm impressed.
08:32He's still riding with power.
08:33You see the little head tilt right there.
08:35That's when you know he's happy.
08:36And I think he's checked the box.
08:38Tomac, KTM, this thing's going to work.
08:41Yeah, it's a good, great combination.
08:45I mean, think about that.
08:47Four different manufacturers.
08:48If he could bring this one home and win him tonight, that would be four wins in the premier class on four different manufacturers.
08:57Did you really have any doubt that it wouldn't?
09:00I mean, I had a few fans asking me, what do you think?
09:03What do you think?
09:04It's Eli Tomac.
09:05I did just before when we were making our picks.
09:08I struggled with it because Ken Rockson was looking so sharp.
09:13I don't mean that.
09:14I mean, did you believe that Tomac would match up perfectly with the KTM?
09:19Well, I was trying to rub it into Daniel that I think Tomac for the win.
09:23Here we go.
09:24Coming to one to go.
09:25You know, Ralph, Tomac is in his 30s now.
09:30A couple years ago, thought he may retire.
09:32The question where the motivation is.
09:34And then he signs up for another year, goes to a new manufacturer, a new energy drink.
09:38And you're thinking, where is the motivation?
09:40What are we going to get out of him?
09:41And from the first lap yesterday, he was all in.
09:45And that's because he's all in.
09:47So to answer your question, not when he's all in.
09:50Tomac is a bad man and a legend.
09:52And he's going to be great moving forward.
09:54Here's Ken Rockson still hanging on in second.
09:57Another great legend.
09:59He's far from done as well.
10:00This battle is going to continue on to the end of 25 and all throughout 2026 between these two.
10:07As Eli Tomac makes his way around, it will be his fifth overall win.
10:12And his 16th race victory in his World Supercross career.
10:18Here he comes.
10:19Eli Tomac wins the overall as he wins race number three here at the Canadian GP and lights the candles in Vancouver.
10:28Rocks in in second.
10:33Waiting Justin Cooper.
10:35Here he comes to take third.
10:37He'll do so on the Yamaha and the crowd giving their approval here in BC.
10:438.
10:44Here he comes to the
10:45North TV.
10:46John Azig.
10:47High five.

10:50Then do all that.
