00:56Well, guys, just not only did Cade Clayson go out and win that LCQ challenge,
01:00but he also announced his retirement on Thursday.
01:03So this will be his last official Monster Supercross race ever.
01:07And you know he wants to go out making that main event.
01:10Yeah, go out.
01:11I mean, it looks good right now.
01:13Probably look back, saw that number 11, Kyle Chisholm.
01:16And we know how good Kyle is his whole career, but especially these LCQs.
01:21Need to get a little bit of insurance.

01:32Kevin did well in that privateer challenge yesterday as well.
01:36Well, one little slip up too.
01:38I mean, the next thing you know you got three guys on your rear tire.

01:45Trying to make a move here.
01:47Trying to find alternate lines to get by.
01:50You do not want to be in that fourth position.
01:52And the reason is because you have to ride so defensive for the guy in fifth to not make a
01:57pass.
01:58And when you end up riding defensive, that actually slows you down a lot more times than not.
02:03So, difficult spot.
02:05Yeah, very difficult.
02:06And these guys race with each other pretty much every weekend in this scenario, so you know what you're about
02:11to get.
02:12You know, it's kind of all hands on deck at this point.
02:16You know it's coming if you're in that fourth spot.
02:20So, for Cade Clayson, who we've been heaping praise on for not only what he did yesterday in the Pulp
02:27MX Privateer Challenge, but over the course of his career.
02:29Let's round it out, Cade, with a nice, a nice number.

02:34If he stays where he is and gets to the main event, that would be 70 main events.

02:42Moran's had a ton of speed.

03:02Yeah, I think what he did when he made that pass on Chisholm right here, I think he starts blocking
03:06that inside, thinking maybe Kyle will come back.
03:09Gets in there, which obviously changes his angle.
03:11He's a little too far on the inside, still tries to double.
03:14You can see how far he was back in, got over that rut.
03:16Just ever so slightly, right?
03:19That was it.
03:22So there will not be one more main event in the Supercross portion of the season for Kevin Moran's.
03:30But for his team, the champion tool storage KTM racing team, his teammate Grant Harlan.
03:36This will be the sixth time this year that Grant's converted a last chance qualifier into a main event appearance.

03:49You let your eyes walk down that graphic on the left hand side to see Justin Bogle back.
03:55So he had some time, he came back, then unfortunately had a crash.

04:00Yeah, and then had to have some time away again before coming back.
04:03So good to see him back, but he's a little further back than where he would like to be.
04:07Yeah, we don't know if he bats are maybe going down, but really impressive.
04:11The first race he came back, he made the main event.
04:13So you got to think with his speed, something happened with him.
04:17I got to tell you, man, like this season overall is this is the final race of the Supercross portion
04:24of the SMX World Championship.
04:26And I just feel like in general, the racing and the parity and the level of competition has been so
04:34close all season long.
04:36And we talk about starts and how start dependent these races are.
04:40I mean, you take a guy like Grant Harlan, he's out here winning.
04:43Why?
04:44Because he's riding good, first and foremost.
04:46But at the same time, he got a great start.
04:48It's so hard to make up time when you're running the same lap times.
04:52And that's been the case for a lot of guys, whether it's the 250 class and the mains and the
04:56heats, as well as the 450s.

05:00Grant was generous with his time the other day as well as Kevin Morans.
05:05They both participated in the Rocky Mountain ATV MC St Jude's SMX Charity Golf Day played at the Eaglewood Golf
05:14Course on Thursday,
05:17which is a really fun day out and raised more than $100,000 for St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
05:24It was a great day out.
05:25Cole Thompson aboard his heartbeat hot sauce Yamaha is in the fourth and final transfer position,
05:35which means, fellas, he gets a bonus $1,000 if he stays there.
