00:00Another top-ranked battle, it's Notre Dame.

00:02They are as hot as any team in the country.

00:04They've reeled off three straight wins.

00:06They're laying 22-and-a-half right now against NC State, Coach.

00:11They got the win but didn't cover Notre Dame against Boise State.

00:15That line was right in the area of about 21-and-a-half.

00:18But NC State over the years has played Notre Dame traditionally very tough.

00:23How do you see this one playing out in South Bend?

00:26I think NC State can hang with them within the points

00:29and Spencer State has scored almost every time, 21 points every game.

00:33They have over 32 times.

00:35They have been a team that's been able to score points

00:38even in games that they've lost.

00:40And so I don't think Notre Dame can pull away from them.

00:42I definitely think Notre Dame is getting better every week.

00:46They've got a lot of weapons now, both running backs that they have

00:49or play so well.

00:51Their quarterback, kind of like Alabama, he's proven he can play at this level

00:55and he can lead a championship-caliber team.

00:57And, yes, I do think Notre Dame's on the roll.

01:00They're rolling fast.

01:01And they'll win this game.

01:03But I sure like NC State to cover that 22-and-a-half.

01:06I just think – I don't – I think Penn State can score with them

01:09until there's not enough time to outscore them that many.

01:12What's interesting is that NC State – the teams have only played four times.

01:17First two wins went to NC State.

01:19The last two wins went to Notre Dame.

01:22Last time they played was back in 2023.

01:25Both of Notre Dame's victories came by a margin of 21 points.

01:29And we're seeing 22-and-a-halves pop up across multiple books right now,

01:34which is sort of interesting.

01:35I agree with you.

01:36I think from a physicality perspective, we've seen the rushing attack take over

01:40from Notre Dame defensively.

01:41Defensively, at least Marcus Freeman, from a scheme perspective,

01:45has had that defense dialed in.

01:48They've been opportunistic, playing great red zone defense as well.

01:51And that should carry straight through this game.

01:54I do think potentially we go through the 60-and-a-half,

01:57but we'll see how it plays out.

01:59Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech.

02:01This is an intriguing matchup for a couple of reasons.

02:04Georgia Tech right now undefeated in the conference.

02:06We saw Virginia Tech potentially step up against Wofford and NC State.

02:11They were home for homecoming last week against Robbie Ashford and Wake Forest.

02:16They were a six-and-a-half-point home favorite in that game

02:19and lost the game outright.

02:21We talked about them potentially losing their first conference game.

02:25What does that do from a mentality perspective?

02:28They've won three of the last four in the series, Coach,

02:31but I think this is a tall order going on the road to Atlanta.

02:34This is my best bet of the weekend.

02:36I like the Yellow Jackets to roll in this matchup.

02:40I'm with you 100%.

02:41I just think Georgia Tech, if they keep their eyes on the prize,

02:46they can kind of see the finish line out there.

02:48What they've got to do one game at a time, they're undefeated.

02:51They haven't been 5-0 since 2014.

02:53And they can see the great things out there.

02:55And Virginia Tech gave it all they got.

02:57They got a couple of wins coming off that coaching change.

03:01And they got beat last week.

03:02And I can't see it going on and on.

03:04And I almost like to see Virginia Tech going one way,

03:08Georgia Tech going the other way.

03:10Georgia Tech needs to start fast.

03:12They have started slow the last couple of games

03:14and fallen behind and had to catch up,

03:17spend their whole time catching up.

03:18So, again, like we saw Georgia do earlier in the year,

03:22you can't fall behind all the time

03:24and just figure you're going to find a way to win.

03:26You can't do that.

03:27So, Georgia Tech needs to have a fast start.

03:29I think they will.

03:30And when they do, I think they're going to roll.

03:32And you take Jordan Tech and they will cover.
