00:00Dailene seemingly disappeared off the face of the earth.
00:09We love Dailene so much, and we want to go.
00:12Carlson was last seen leaving a bar, then shopping at a grocery store.
00:16At the bar, one of the men put his arm around Dailene, and Dailene brushes him off.
00:22We basically have a bar full of possible suspects.
00:27He told us that he went home by himself, and that he is seen on video buying a bottle of alcohol with Dailene.
00:34He is the last person to see her. That's all we have at this moment.
00:37We wanted to know where Dailene was. That was at the root of it all. Where is she?
00:47Every suspect accused of a crime has the right to remain silent.
00:51Many agree to be interrogated anyway, but they can stop the interview at any moment, making it a race against time.
00:59Justice hangs in the balance.
01:03Missing person report comes in for Dailene Carlson.
01:22The original report was by her aunt that she went to this bar and did not come home.
01:28Dailene decided that she was going to go to a local bar called Finnegan's, and she had plans to meet some friends there.
01:40Dailene's aunt and her cousin heard from her a little bit through the night.
01:44Her plan was to come home, and then Dailene never showed up.
01:48My understanding is that Dailene communicated with her family very consistently, and if Dailene said,
01:58Hey, I'm going to be home, then she would come home.
02:00So the fact that she had not communicated with those folks at all, that was extremely alarming.
02:07Dailene Carlson was full of life and energy.
02:19She was from Sandpoint, Idaho, loved to explore, kind of a free spirit.
02:25She traveled the United States with a magazine crew from city to city, trying to get subscriptions for a variety of magazines.
02:34So she was a person that was, I think, looking for her way in the world, but definitely enjoying her life.
02:42When Dailene Carlson moved to Stockton, she moved in with her aunt and her cousin.
02:49And she decided she liked the community so much that she wanted to stay, and she wanted to go to college here.
02:54Dailene had never gone missing in the past.
02:57So the fact that she seemingly just disappeared off the face of the earth, it did seem exceptionally unusual.
03:05If they know anything, it doesn't matter how little it is, that if they would please come forward, contact the police department.
03:15She's a very quiet person, but once you get to know her, she's just bubbly, and she just wouldn't hurt anybody or anything.
03:22We love Dailene so much, and we want her home.
03:26Her cousin said that Dailene had recently broken up with a boyfriend, Jacob Evangelisti.
03:49I think Jacob had had some feelings about that.
03:52He wanted to remain in a relationship with Dailene, and Dailene did not.
03:57Part of the same kind of social network was Jason Gilley.
04:01Dailene and Jason were just friends, and Jason's home was kind of the party place.
04:08We learned that these young men were at the bar.
04:11Jason was there, and Jacob was there.
04:13And given the circumstances, that certainly caught our attention.
04:18So we want to talk to the ex-boyfriend, Jacob, because he has a reason to want to maybe get back with her, or maybe he's upset.
04:31Jacob was very willing to talk to us, and Jacob insisted that he knew nothing about Dailene's disappearance,
04:51and that he was more concerned for her than anybody was.
04:55And he seemed to be very transparent and very honest.
04:59And the sense was that he was telling us the truth.
05:02Jason told us that he was at the bar, and that he saw Dailene there, and that the two did hang out, and that they were being friendly.
05:30And as the night went on, he got a text or a call from his grandmother, who relayed that Jason's son was sick, and that Jason needed to come home.
05:42So, according to Jason, he went to the car, and he left by himself, and went straight home to take care of his son, who was ill.
05:50Jason told us that when he left, Dailene was still partying at the bar, and he had no idea what her plans were from that point on, because he went straight home.
05:59And didn't see Dailene again.
06:01So there was one camera angle in the hall near the restrooms, and in that particular angle, you're able to see that Dailene is kind of milling about with a group of men.
06:23And at one point, you see one of the men put his arm around Dailene, and Dailene kind of brushes him off and steps away.
06:35And when that person who tried to kind of bring Dailene in for a hug turns around, we're able to see that it's Jason Gilley.
06:45So, watching the video and really dissecting it in all the different angles, what we saw was, at the very end of the night, Jason left at 12 minutes after 1am, and walked out of view of the camera, and then Dailene left three minutes later, also right out of view of the camera.
07:03They left, not necessarily right together, but in very close proximity, in time.
07:15By way of text message, we learned that Dailene's plan was to leave the bar with Jason and then go to the store and get a bottle of Jägermeister and continue the party at Jason's house.
07:40Jason said that he was not with Aileen. So, of course, the text messages caused more questions for us than we had answers to at that time.
07:49Because we had the information that they were reportedly going to go pick up a bottle of Jägermeister, we just looked at what a logical route would be from the bar to Jason's home.
08:01You know, what liquor stores were along that route. And so, we visited several of those type of locations, which ultimately led us to a local grocery store that did sell alcohol at that hour.
08:13And through that visit, we were able to obtain surveillance footage of a couple of young folks buying a bottle of alcohol. And the surveillance footage was not great.
08:27But when the two went to the register, ultimately, we ended up identifying Jason and Dailene.
08:40We knew that Jason was not telling us the truth simply because he told us that he went home by himself. And that he is seen on video buying a bottle of alcohol with Dailene.
08:52Okay, Jason's lying to us. Why is Jason lying to us? That's the question.
08:56Jason was not present. He actually was out of town. So, we spoke with his grandmother. And we specifically asked if she told Jason that he needed to come home because Jason's son was sick.
09:11And his grandmother looked at us in a kind of a puzzled way and said, no, I never did that. I don't know what you're talking about.
09:33During the search warrant at Jason's home, there were several key pieces of evidence that were located.
09:41First and foremost, we found women's underwear in Jason's bedroom, which were obviously out of place.
09:47And we also found a certain amount of marijuana in Jason's home, enough to build a case. He possessed it for sale.
09:53It was ultra clear that Jason was not being honest and that we now had enough, at least based on the possession of marijuana, to take him into custody on that and have a very direct conversation with him.
10:08So, on August 14th, Jason was located and he was arrested and was immediately taken into custody.
10:14Sorry about the wait, man. I don't know.
10:30Unlike you, you're...
10:31We keep saying we've got so much stuff. It's crazy.
10:34Well, we appreciate your cooperation, by the way. I don't know if I said that. It really helps. I mean, you know, we really...
10:47I understand it's all procedures.
10:49Yeah, no, we appreciate it. I mean, all you're doing is helping us.
10:51I'm upset about my room upside down, but...
10:55We're not worried about weed or whatever. I'm just curious, to be honest with you.
10:58What is a little sack like that? What does it cost?
11:01Uh, I've been getting $10 for him.
11:0310 per?
11:04Yeah, I'm not really trying to make money off of it.
11:06Just kind of smoke for three kind of thing?
11:08Yeah, pretty much.
11:09Okay, so now going back to Saturday.
11:11Uh, Saturday. It was a long, boring day.
11:16I think I did some yard work. I can't quite remember.
11:19You went to the bar at what time?
11:21I would say, again, 9 or 10-ish.
11:24Okay.
11:25It's about the time I show up.
11:27I wanted Jason to lock himself into a statement.
11:30If the statement was going to be absolutely the truth,
11:32that would be great.
11:33If he chose to continue to stick to his story and tell us more lies,
11:37we were going to let him do just that.
11:39Uh, I do remember playing beer pong, drinking some beer.
11:46Uh, I seen her bailing there.
11:49And I seen her, like I said, bouncing.
11:52I told you before she was bouncing around.
11:54Uh, about, I would say, a little bit before 1,
11:59my grandma texted me, said,
12:01hey, are you busy? Can you come home and take care of your son?
12:04I'm like, all right, I will.
12:06And then, where do you go?
12:07Straight home.
12:08The thing that we want most is a full confession.
12:15A very close second to that is a statement that's riddled with lies.
12:20And in that interview room, Jason continued to lie.
12:24We just want her home safe.
12:43I just want my family to, you know, have, have peace,
12:47and my aunt get her daughter home.
13:07Everybody has their own kind of nuances as to how they speak, how they act.
13:13And I was just kind of getting a read on who Jason is
13:17and how he would generally communicate
13:19so that we could then identify behavior changes from that.
13:23And that's really what we're looking for, is what that behavior change is.
13:29So what do you think about all this stuff and everything that's floating around?
13:32Honestly, I don't even know.
13:34I know it's not good.
13:36You know, it's sad, and I don't really have no thoughts on it.
13:41What do you think happened?
13:44I'm thinking she left with somebody, and hopefully she just stuck somewhere.
13:49Hopefully she's all right.
13:51I don't have no idea what happened.
13:54No idea.
13:55Have you tried, since you found out she went missing,
13:58have you helped out, like, to try to find her to do anything?
14:00I was going to print out some flyers, but my printer was out of ink.
14:04Have you tried calling her or texting her or anything?
14:07I've tried calling her, but the phone was dead.
14:10Go straight to the voicemail.
14:12When did you try to call her?
14:13Oh, gosh, I couldn't even remember what the idea was.
14:15Well, I mean, has it been kind of repeatedly?
14:17No, I tried one time.
14:19Oh, just one?
14:20Plus everybody else, they only had phones off.
14:22He was so nonchalant about, oh, yeah, I don't know.
14:25Maybe she's stuck somewhere.
14:26I hope she's okay.
14:27That doesn't make sense to me.
14:29For most adults, if something happened to one of their friends,
14:33they would do everything they could to try to help locate that person,
14:36particularly in the context of this case.
14:39Is there anything else you could think of?
14:41Anything that you think that would help us out?
14:44I don't, I'm not one to point fingers, but Jacob was just standing down all night long,
14:50watching her every little move.
14:52What I kind of understood, and maybe I misinterpreted,
14:56this was pretty much she broke up with him.
14:58I don't know if it was mutual or if he broke up with her or she broke up with him.
15:02I just know she was all excited about being apart from Jacob.
15:05Honestly, she was all excited.
15:07About being apart from him?
15:09She's like, I'm done with him.
15:10So glad it's over.
15:11I don't know why I see it in him.
15:12Right.
15:13Every time I looked at his direction, he was just standing at her.
15:15Okay.
15:16So, you know, I noticed that, so.
15:20He immediately went to deflecting, bringing up reasons.
15:24Oh, she was drinking.
15:25She was talking to a lot of guys.
15:27Jacob was staring at her.
15:29You know, that's that ex-boyfriend.
15:31So when people start deflecting, they're hiding something.
15:34And our goal is to know what they're hiding and why.
15:37You know, when you have, uh, I mean, here's the thing.
15:40How do you have?
15:41Yeah.
15:42The same ones you guys, too.
15:43So nothing else you can think of?
15:48Anything you want to add on the timeline?
15:51Anything you want to, you know, that you think that maybe you made a mistake when you're telling us?
15:55No.
15:56Nothing.
15:57Okay.
15:58Nothing I can think of.
15:59Okay.
16:00We have a ton of, um, resources that we use.
16:02Right.
16:03Investigative tools, um, that we use.
16:04Right.
16:05And, um, there's some inconsistencies in her story.
16:08Okay.
16:09And we want you to clear this up for us.
16:10Really horrible times.
16:11Okay.
16:12That's okay.
16:13That's all right.
16:14And, and, and you can't expect us.
16:16We don't, we can, we don't expect you to know what we're talking about.
16:18Right.
16:19Of what you did.
16:20That's not reasonable.
16:21It's not reasonable.
16:22But that's the good thing with, um, surveillance, video surveillance at different locations, the cameras that are on the intersections and as such.
16:38So you don't, we don't have to account for your time, but these things, they do take their timestamp.
16:44What we can see is literally the wheels begin to turn in his head.
16:49Right.
16:50And him beginning to recount where might I have gone that they might have surveillance footage.
16:58So we need you to be completely honest with us because we know, we know a lot more of what's going on.
17:05Okay.
17:06And this is your opportunity to be completely honest with us.
17:09And we need you to be honest because we, we know, we know a lot of information.
17:13What you see is him kind of shift in his chair.
17:18And that's a classic tell of somebody who's beginning to feel very uncomfortable.
17:24Jason is beginning to connect the dots that we certainly know more than we revealed to him originally.
17:32And his body language said so much more than his words did.
17:37So Jason, let's stop goofing around. Let's stop playing games. Okay.
17:43Because we know that there's a whole lot more to this story and this is not the time for games.
17:50We just need you to be honest.
17:51This is a big deal.
17:52Any investigator knows if somebody is talking, you're making progress.
17:55It might be very, very slow progress.
17:56And even if he's going to lie, the fact that he's talking, if he's talking, we're on the right path.
18:03You're in a good position to help yourself right now.
18:04Okay.
18:05So let's, let's really, let's really consider some questions and really, let's really consider the answers that you're giving before we go further down the road, Jason.
18:20Because I don't want you to waste this opportunity that you have right now. Okay. To be honest with us, because I understand, I don't know what you guys know or anything, but Jason, we know a lot of things.
18:49We know a lot of stuff. Okay. And we need you to be honest.
18:52Please don't waste this opportunity because this is, this is serious. Okay. So don't, don't do that to yourself.
18:59Me leaning in and putting my hand on his forearm there is a way for me to try to connect with him because humans like that human touch.
19:08And if that need is being met in this way, then there's a higher likelihood in my experience that somebody is going to continue to talk.
19:15So let's start over.
19:18So on Saturday, okay. What time do you get to the bar?
19:23I got to the bar probably 10, 10, 15.
19:26Okay.
19:27I was there until about one o'clock.
19:29Okay. And, and what happened at one?
19:31At one o'clock I left.
19:33Because what?
19:34Because of my son.
19:35Okay.
19:36So I went home, made sure my son was all right. And that was it.
19:39Let's talk about, um, you, let's talk about your grandma in the text first.
19:49Because when we were out there on Thursday night, I spoke to your grandma.
19:52Right.
19:53And I spoke to her in detail about that.
19:54Right.
19:55About, about your son being sick and all that. And, and she explained what she did or didn't do.
20:00Right.
20:01And it doesn't, it doesn't, it's not consistent with what you're saying.
20:06Right.
20:07So this is your opportunity to straighten it out for us.
20:10She didn't text me.
20:11You're right. She didn't.
20:12You're right.
20:13Uh, I, I had just my phone.
20:15Okay.
20:16Why did you, why did you not tell us the truth about that?
20:19What's the purpose of it?
20:22There is no purpose.
20:24Well, listen, people don't lie to the police for no reason, Jason.
20:27Right.
20:28And we asked you multiple times and you gave the same lie over and over.
20:31And, you know, that, that.
20:33I was texting a lot.
20:34I was, you know.
20:35Who else were you texting?
20:37I honestly could not remember who I was texting.
20:40His brain's going 800 million directions and he's trying to come up with a new strategy
20:46because he knows his whole statement is, I left to see my son.
20:51Well, that's no longer true.
20:53So now they're just going to keep chipping away at him and have him keep contradicting
20:58himself.
20:59And then hopefully each time he'll reveal a little bit more of the truth.
21:06So why did you decide to leave the bar?
21:08Because I wanted to go home to my son.
21:10Okay. So who did you leave the bar with?
21:11No way.
21:12By myself.
21:13And where did you go?
21:14I went home.
21:15From the bar directly to your house.
21:17Didn't make any stops.
21:19Stop nowhere.
21:21Wait a minute.
21:22Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
21:25Excuse me, Jason.
21:26I left the bar.
21:27Okay.
21:28Hold on.
21:29I left the bar with Deline to food for us.
21:32I bought a bottle of air for her.
21:34Dropped her back off at the bar.
21:36And then me.
21:38Now, now why, why would you like us about this, Jason?
21:42I just remembered that I went to food for us.
21:44I went to food for us.
21:45But that's, that's pretty important.
21:46Jason.
21:47You've been very detailed on everything to us.
21:49Jason.
21:50This is.
21:51No, I understand.
21:52It's not something you forget, Jason.
21:54It was just so obviously fabricated that he just happened to remember.
21:58Oh gosh.
22:00Yeah.
22:01I forgot.
22:02But yes.
22:03Now I remember.
22:04This is not something you forget.
22:05I understand.
22:07I.
22:08So, so let's talk about this.
22:09This is serious.
22:10It slipped my mind.
22:11I'm serious.
22:12I don't think it did, Jason.
22:14As a matter of fact, I'm quite certain it didn't.
22:16Okay.
22:17There's a whole lot more to this story.
22:19And all these questions that we sat in here and asked you, we obviously knew the answer.
22:23Right.
22:24That was not a slip of the mind.
22:25That was a lie.
22:26Right.
22:27There's a big difference.
22:28It was a lie, correct?
22:29Yeah.
22:30Why?
22:31I don't know.
22:32Scared.
22:33Of what?
22:34Because I know she disappeared around the same time.
22:39So, so why would you be scared about that, Jason?
22:41Jason clearly wasn't going to volunteer any more information.
22:52So it seemed obvious that we needed to pivot on our strategy to confront him with facts
22:59about his lies.
23:01But ultimately, we wanted to know where Dalene was.
23:04That was at the root of it all.
23:06Where is she?
23:07Most important is we need to get Dalene back to her family.
23:11Right.
23:12Right?
23:13So you're going to help us find her.
23:15I don't want to do that.
23:17I'm sure you do.
23:19Jason.
23:20I'm sure you do.
23:21Jason.
23:22I'm sure you do.
23:24Okay.
23:25I'm sure you do.
23:26I'm sure you do.
23:28I'm sure you do.
23:47Why would you lie to us about having gone home by yourself?
23:51I slipped my mind.
23:52I'm sorry.
23:53Okay.
23:54What else slipped your mind up until right now?
23:56What else do you want to change about your story?
23:58This is your chance.
24:00Jason.
24:01Use this opportunity.
24:02Let's talk about your conversation with Dalene leading up to going to Food for Less.
24:08I had an offer.
24:09I said, do you want to come back to the house and crash on the couch?
24:13She said, okay.
24:14It's not too cool.
24:15I bought you a bottle.
24:16I had changed my mind.
24:17I had bottled the bottle still and went home.
24:18And why did you take her?
24:19I took her back to Fence.
24:20She was with me and I dropped her back off at Fence all the way back to my house.
24:21So you dropped her back off at the bar?
24:22Yes.
24:23For sure.
24:24What did she do when you dropped her off?
24:25She walked into the bar.
24:26That's weird.
24:27Jason, you know what's weird about that?
24:28No.

28:15it becomes apparent to me that these are not real tears
28:18what we see is him beginning to get really really worried about himself
28:26and not about dalene he knows that he's in serious trouble
28:45jason the more you talk about it the better you're gonna feel the better you're gonna feel

30:04happen well that's okay was she upset because because i didn't think so i didn't want to
30:10first do it i didn't want to why do you think she was upset she was probably sobering it up
30:16we had sex and we we came out for a little bit more and then she decided she wants to go home
30:21and she started walking so i got her was she in the front seat or back seat seat she was telling
30:29me just let her go just don't worry about her let her go she i figured she was yelling i figured she

30:55and i didn't want to pursue the issue so i didn't know what i mean i'm so i should have just made sure
31:03you went home jason said that they drove all the way to modesto which is about 30 minutes south
31:12of us and that dalene got out of the car at some unknown place and instead of alerting the authorities
31:20in that community and asking for help he just left and went to a gas station
31:24you were so good to try to stop her
31:27that's what i mean i don't know she got out of the car and you didn't go around to help her
31:31no i didn't i don't really know
31:35that's why i didn't want to put anybody
31:39okay she didn't jump out of the car jason
31:42jason yeah she did she didn't jump out she stepped out of the car
31:47jason she didn't step out of the car she didn't just walk away jason and you didn't just drive off
31:52that doesn't make any sense jason because when you lie
31:55it's great
31:56no jason jason jason jason jason jason no where are we going to find a body

32:24when when jason explains it i didn't do it
32:28i don't want you i don't i don't definitely don't want you to do that
32:31okay
32:33i'm just lying you guys
32:39i feel like you're making me say something that's not true
32:43you know we don't we don't want to put anything in the mouth but um
32:47no words in the mouth
32:48yep it's over so you asked for attorney so
32:50we can't talk to you at all
32:52so here's what's gonna happen okay you're gonna go to jail
32:54okay jason goodnight
32:56jason asking for a lawyer and our communication having to end with him was pretty devastating
33:02as somebody who was fielding the calls from her family every single day
33:08i wanted to know where she was
33:10we are looking at a nobody no cause of death investigation there's no evidence really of
33:31his kidnap or what we believe to be murder of daylight carlson we just know that she has
33:37disappeared he is the last person to see her he is lying about his interactions with her
33:44but that's all we have at this moment
33:57gilly was set free for lack of evidence after police arrested him soon after carlson's disappearance
34:03this is the only interview he's done
34:05really haven't known her that long and just to be accused of this it really hurts
34:08carlson was last seen with gilly leaving a bar then shopping at a grocery store
34:13she was never seen again
34:14i'm not that person that you all see on tv
34:17i'm a kind person
34:18never i don't push myself on anybody
34:21everybody that knows me knows that
34:23everything off she's never seen me
34:40the thing we need to hear from us
34:40it was a tough it doesn't matter what you think the problem is
34:42there's very trouble
34:44it just seemed like such a perfect opportunity to run into her
34:49It just seemed like such a perfect opportunity to have another discussion with him about
34:56Daylene's whereabouts, but clearly I was not the right person to have that discussion with him.
35:00Let's quit around, Jason. I'm about done with it. Got it? I'm about done.
35:06Introducing Detective Dela Cruz to Jason was an opportunity to see how he would respond to a female investigator.
35:15He doesn't have to talk to me. He doesn't have to be there.
35:19He wasn't under arrest here, so he could really have told me to off.
35:24What happens is you come across a lot of people. I do. You know, in the course of 20 years.
35:36And there's people that, you know, not empathy or, or, but I kind of feel for you. If that makes any sense.
35:45I think so, I don't know.
35:50Jason seems like the type of suspect that just needed to be coddled and just be reassured as opposed to hitting him hard and him shutting down.
36:12You seem like a nice guy. Yeah. You know, and a lot of times I know that nice people get caught up in stuff.
36:21That's what I'm afraid of. That's what I'm afraid of for you too, to be very honest with you.
36:27Yeah. Because I think you've gotten caught up in stuff. And my, some of my heart feels for you. I feel bad for you.
36:36Right. I think something happened. You're not someone to actually hurt somebody. I think something bad happened.
36:45So when you watch this, he acknowledges for a minute by nodding his head. You can see that when she says, something bad happened, I think you know.
36:54And he's like, yeah. And she's trying to relay to him, you can trust me.
36:58If anybody would want to help you on this department and be on your side, you got one person.
37:03Right.
37:04Okay. And I don't do that often.
37:06I understand.
37:08There's a lot of people that I've sat across the table from. Okay. And have done some, some bad things. It does not make them a bad person.
37:18Right.
37:19By no means. Okay.
37:21I just don't really know. Nothing else that I can think of. Like I've been thinking every day. I just, I don't really know.
37:28At that point, he just kind of like, didn't budge. He just reminded me of someone that wanted to go ahead and tell the truth, but it wouldn't come out of his mouth.
37:37I don't know.
37:38I don't know.
37:39I don't know.
37:40I don't know.
38:01The written timeline was something that was beneficial for the case.
38:05We wanted to do an analysis of the events in Jason's writings. So when we get it on paper, there's one portion where he starts speaking about Dalene in past tense.
38:17That's not good. That means he did something. That means she's gone.
38:21The condition of the body was extremely poor.
38:22The condition of the body was extremely poor.
38:26So we were not able to use DNA and had to use a forensic dentist.
38:31Who two days later positively identified the remains as Dalene Carlson.
38:36The condition of the body was extremely poor. So we were not able to use DNA and had to use a forensic dentist who two days later positively identified the remains as Dalene Carlson.
38:48Dalene had been shot five times and we recovered five spent 22 caliber casings close proximity to her body.
39:00To have a young gal like that, that's beautiful, that has a lot going for her to have her life cut short. It's horrible.
39:21Dalene Carlson.
39:42Dalene Carlson.
39:57Prosecutors say the evidence that they were able to get once Carlson's body was discovered fits in with the timeline that they already had for the sequence of events here at Gilly's house that night.
40:07What they don't have is the murder weapon.
40:10Through the course of this investigation, we learned who all of Jason's family was in this area.
40:16And through questioning Jason's uncle, we learned that Jason had an old 22 caliber semi-automatic handgun that he gave his uncle and told his uncle to put in a safe and keep for him.
40:32I asked him, when did Jason give you that gun?
40:35And he said, you know, Jason gave me that gun just after that girl disappeared.
40:41We did a forensic examination of that gun in relation to the casings that were found at the scene.
40:49And through that examination, the experts were able to say that that gun that was provided to us by the uncle was the murder weapon.
40:57Our evidence for the rape charge was Jason's statement that Dalene woke up after having sex and was extremely mad at Jason.
41:20So those were the grounds I used and I believe was the motive for the homicide.
41:27I believe that he was worried about being accused of rape.
41:30And that was more important to him than Dalene's life.
41:35The amount of agony that we went through every day, every day it was harder, every day it was not easier, it was harder and harder and harder.
41:42And I hope that he goes down. God forgive me for saying it, but I hope he does.
41:49Jason Gilley was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, which I believe was the right sentence.
42:14Following the trial, the jurors explained that this video and this interrogation was critical in their decision making because they were able to see that his thought process and his lies were kind of the final nail in the coffin, so to speak, in his fate.
42:32He took my daughter away.
42:35He took my daughter away.
42:36Why take somebody else's life because of selfish, selfishness.
42:41My cousin got justice and she can rest now.
42:46She's been along two and a half years.
42:48She didn't deserve any of this.
42:51She had her whole life ahead of her.
42:53One of the saddest parts of this case is the fact that Dalene's life ended so, so tragically and so, so prematurely and left so many people absolutely completely devastated.
43:07Personally, that's why I think I'm completely devastated.
43:11if I open my eyes and open my eyes up, I mean no repair، I think I'm so afraid.
43:14If you haven't even died without純혼 can live my soul for a time.
43:16If you have never been anyone, consider over is impossible because I think I'm literally one here at a time though yet.
43:19You've got someone who my husbandộd who said Richard scale about his life.
43:22They've got a Cohmxed i.
43:23To fight his death.
43:25To be confused by asshole Fred магазins, they've got children.
43:27They've got children.
43:29And a week's been completely devastated.
