00:08In perhaps his most shocking allegation yet, Michael Wolff claimed Jeffrey Epstein believed

00:12his former friend and current president of the United States was the one who gave police

00:17dirt on the late pedophiles' trafficking scheme.

00:20The American journalist revealed the jaw-dropping accusation in a Substack post on Thursday,

00:25November 13, following Democrats on the House Oversight Committee's release of 20,000 documents

00:30exposing Epstein's emails.

00:33Epstein believed that it was Trump, long aware of Epstein's S-tastes, and a sometimes participant

00:37in them, who, as part of their exploding feud, alerted the police, Wolff alleged.

00:42The author noted he initially reported the information in his June 2019 book with Epstein's

00:47consent.

00:48At the time Wolff's book hit shelves, the reporter said Epstein was in Paris and immediately faced

00:53regrets regarding the details he spilled about Trump.

00:56I think I went too far, Wolff recalled Epstein telling him, though the writer replied, well,

01:02Several weeks later, Epstein was ultimately arrested on the tarmac of Teterboro Airport in

01:07New Jersey upon returning home from Paris on his private jet.

01:10During Trump's presidency, the DOJ withdrew Epstein's 2008 non-prosecution agreement.

01:17Epstein later died by suicide in August 2019.

01:20And while Trump blamed their fallout on Epstein's misconduct, Epstein had a different view in

01:25conversations with Wolff.

01:27Wolff reported that Epstein told him their 2004 friendship ended over a $36 million Palm

01:32Beach property, which Epstein claimed he was the top bidder on and showed to Trump.

01:37Trump however, allegedly went around his friend Epstein's back and bid $41 million for the house.

01:43At that point, the Palm Beach police began to investigate the circumstances of the young girls

01:47who were constantly coming and going at Epstein's house.

01:51Wolff added, insinuating that their rift over the Florida mansion was what allegedly triggered

01:56Trump to give information to law enforcement.
