00:00Trump Admin Formally Labels European Antifa Groups as Terror Organizations
00:06The Trump administration formally designated four violent left-wing groups based in Europe
00:11as foreign terrorist organizations on Thursday, part of a broad effort to crack down on extremism.
00:17According to the New York Post, the State Department announced that the groups Antifa
00:21Ost, the International Revolutionary Front, Armed Proletarian Justice, and Revolutionary
00:27Class Self-Defense, use force against those they identify as opponents of their Marxist
00:32and anarchist projects.
00:34These anarchists, Marxists, and violent extremists of Antifa have waged a terror campaign in the
00:39United States and across the Western world for decades, carrying out bombings, beatings,
00:44shootings, and riots in service of their extreme agenda, State Department spokesperson Tommy
00:49Pigott said.
00:51According to Germany's Interior Ministry, it is not to be expected that this circle of
00:55individuals will turn away from violence.
00:58It is rather to be feared that, over time, a further radicalization will take place.

01:51political activity and obstruct the rule of law, directing all relevant federal agencies
01:56to investigate, disrupt, and dismantle operations conducted by or on behalf of Antifa.
02:03The designation will bar the groups from accessing the U.S. financial system and allows prosecutors
02:08to pursue anyone providing support to these organizations.
