00:26Today the foundation stone laying ceremony of the space city
00:30along with the drone city is happening here
00:32and the space city comes up at two locations
00:36in Andhra, one at Rautasur Mala and other at
00:40Lepakshi area. Here the
00:44early initiation of this has already happened with the creation of
00:48this space city there and I will tell you a few moments to tell you what exactly that
00:52we have in mind when we talk about space city.
00:56You know, Andhra Pradesh has the only
00:59launch pad of the country, the
01:01Southeast Avant Space Center Sri Herikota
01:03which is a natural advantage for the state to create a space ecosystem
01:07and we need to make
01:09use of this advantage to an extent
01:12where we will be able to build
01:13rockets and satellites
01:15at close proximity to the location so that
01:17we don't have to even move them over
01:19long distances which is happening currently.
01:21You know, the rockets of Israel are built across the country and so many places and there is a huge amount of logistics
01:27involving components and assemblies to move across the country which is one of the
01:32time consuming and costly affair and risk also is very high.
01:36So in the long term we see there is a potential for large number of rockets to be built and launched on a continuous basis.
01:43In such a case we need a proximity to the launch station.
01:46Second aspect is the rockets are going to become much much bigger than what is being currently done.
01:52That implies that that model of manufacturing and transportation will not be a possibility.
01:57And this is where this is happening.
02:00And Space City comes up as a hub where
02:06whoever is building the rocket, it could be ISRO, it could be private start-ups and companies, will be making use of this facility.

02:34Namaskar. So I was speaking about the Space City.
02:36Just now Dr. Sadish Reddy spoke about the Drone City.
02:40So we were introducing this Space City as a concept where the building of the rockets and spacecraft will happen in an umbrella,
02:47single place where multiple industries will come and join to create competencies in manufacturing of rocket engines,
02:54manufacturing of complex hardware of rockets, integrating the rockets,
02:59and then moving the final product of the rocket to the launch pad straight on a corridor that will be building from Space City to the launch pad.
03:06So we see it as a growth that will surpass what we see in other parts of the world.
03:12And we have a natural advantage in India that comes out of the forward policy of the Government of India to open the space sector to private entrepreneurs to come in.
03:21And we see the energy in the private sector, especially in building space systems in this country.
03:27And making use of that strength, Andhra Pradesh government wants to make this Space City as a place where things will happen in the future in numbers, not in isolation.
03:37I think this is what our vision is.
03:39I'm really happy that the vision of Honorable Chief Minister is becoming a reality and happy to be part of that journey.

05:36friends truly a historic moment because Chandrababa Naidu doesn't do anything
05:41which is ordinary if you recall India's journey in the IT space was launched by
05:54Babu Gauru in 1999 when the high-tech city was conceptualized by him at that
06:02point of time our IT sector was very small but if you recall the Y2K bug had
06:09started creating a scare in the world that after the millennial changes from
06:1699 to 2000 there'll be chaos and all systems will break down Babu Gauru is one
06:22person who never loses an opportunity he grabbed the opportunity he realized that
06:29people will need talent and skill from India for software for IT industry across
06:35the world he invited people from all over the country initially for the
06:42development of the high-tech city gave a single window clearance gave all the
06:48infrastructure facilities and today if Hyderabad is defined for its achievements
06:58for its contribution to the economy a large portion of it is due to the
07:04success of high-tech city which has become iconic and symbolizes India's
07:11strength in the IT space the world has moved on and today is the day and age the
07:20future is going to be drones space technology artificial intelligence quantum
07:29computing and you saw very recently in Hindi there's a phrase for some of you can
07:37understand it I'll translate it Baji mark which means he took the initiative and
07:45before anybody else could do it he grabbed the opportunity and captured the
07:51initiative that is what he has done today with the first drone city of India the
07:57first space city of India coming up in the Oracle industrial area in Andhra Pradesh
08:04from Kurnul it's a large project 2621 acres very close to the Kurnul Airport good
08:13connectivity to the expressways to the railway system air connectivity and GOI and
08:22government of India and state government were collectively developing it now for
08:27such a large industrial area to attract industry it will take time it will be a
08:32long-term project but this man is always in a hurry doesn't have patience becomes a
08:38problem for some of us am I right Satish so he said okay you will take time but I
08:49will do it faster and he conceptualized the drone city which will be 300 acres
08:55dedicated to drones and in operation Sindur we have all seen that the importance in our defense
09:03capabilities is gradually moving towards high quality drones India should be atma nirbar self-reliant and
09:12chief minister is taking a if we want to use of football analogy of forward position or batting on the front
09:22front foot because we are all cricket lovers to come up with the first ever drone
09:28city yeah he's taken the initiative also in the space sector very close to Shri
09:37Harikota and I think it's truly phenomenal the kind of incentive package that he has come
09:44up with to encourage people to come and invest in the drone city and space city and the announcement he
09:52has made today various talked of an escrow account to commit to all the investors that all these
10:01incentives 20% capital investment reimbursement 100% state GST remember refund all IP filing costs all
10:11testing costs being refunded all of this you won't have to go to government offices and you know really
10:19struggle for it he's going to create an escrow mechanism have a certification process which is free
10:26of official or political or bureaucratic interference and guarantee to investors that what he says will be
10:37delivered and I think that's a huge message to investors congratulations Chandra Babu Naidu Garu I'm sure under your leadership

12:58We are all busy, already delayed the program.
13:04As the Honorable Minister has rightly mentioned, it is a historical day.
13:10Government of India is announcing some program.
13:13We are adopting first more advantage.
13:16That is our Honorable Prime Minister has announced quantum mission.
13:26Immediately, I brought quantum computer, first in India, that to Amaravati.
13:34January, we are going to operate quantum computer in Amaravati.
13:38The Honorable Prime Minister has announced green hydrogen mission.
13:48Now, for green hydrogen mission, we declared green hydrogen valley, that is Andhra Pradesh.
13:58500 gigawatts country is going to produce in that 160 gigawatts of green energy from Andhra Pradesh.
14:09Now, because of green energy, data centers are coming.
14:14AI is coming.
14:16It is an excellent ecosystem we are creating.
14:21Government of India has announced deregulation space sector.
14:26Immediately, I was in touch with Samanathji.
14:31He is an expert.
14:33So, he is making a reality near to Sri Herikota, next door, that a space city in Tirupati is coming.
14:42I am confident, already two, three companies are showing interest with this conference, that a space city is full of entrepreneurs.
14:53They are going to launch satellites for the global community.
14:59If you see here, very interestingly, we are having two cities to develop it.
15:07One is near Bangalore, that is R&D, and also so many applications will develop in Southside district, near to Bangalore.
15:21R&D, satellite prototyping, and incubating space tech startups.
15:28Tirupati, near Sri Herikota, we are launching pad.
15:33There, we are going to develop component manufacturing, satellite integration, and launch logistics.
15:43We are targeting 25,000 crores investment, 35,000 jobs, next 10 years.
15:53Recently, I visited Singapore, I told you, this was Dubai.
15:57Dubai, they have taken to me, to moon.
16:01What is 2071, they have shown me.
16:05Now, our Samanadgarh is here.
16:08He will do better than Dubai, because they don't have technology, all these things they are doing.
16:16We are having everything.
16:17We will prove it, what is our space technology, for the global community.
16:21And also, we are giving exemptions, with provision stamp duty, waiver, R&D grants.
16:30And also, we have created 100 crores, space, tech fund also.
16:37This will give, money is not the constraint, according to me.
16:41We will get somewhere.
16:43Another thing, this is where drone city, even recently, our Honorable Prime Minister also has announced, drone city we are launching today.
17:05This is where, Nick Dick, they have given some money.
17:12We are making use of money.
17:14That is where, our Orvakallu, you have given some money.
17:19We are developing 300 acres, we are earmarking, if necessary.
17:24Lot of land is available.
17:26And also, you can guide us, we will take to the logical conclusion.
17:30Here, advanced manufacturing, world-class testing certification facilities, skilling of 25,000 people, remote pilots, robust R&D, and innovative networks, public support with ease of doing business, and crucially, service enablement.
17:51Here, drones, drones, we are thinking, it is so many things.
17:59Tomorrow, all wars will be through drones only.
18:04That is going to happen.
18:05Already, India has shown what is the power of drone, recently.
18:09And also, civilian applications, even pesticides applications, fertilizers, even you can go for mosquito control, not only one or two, surveys, even soil mapping, so many applications.
18:29And also, finally, any transportation of cargo.
18:33Ultimately, I am asking, two honorable ministers are here, high-level, powerful ministers.
18:40One is Investment Minister, P.H. Goyal, Civil Aviation, Ram Mohanayadu.
18:47I am asking them to give me permission to launch drone, cars, or taxis within two years' time.
18:54Again, that has to be done.
18:57That is a game-changer.
18:59To lay the road, it will be very costly.
19:02To use drone, lot of space.
19:07Even civil aviation had a problem, how to regulate.
19:11I told him, their department, you are regulating as on today, how you are regulating flights?
19:18Air traffic controller.
19:20You put drone control, traffic controller, they will regulate every drone, routes, everything.
19:28We are ready to launch that, that is what I told him.
19:32Now they are convinced.
19:34But execution is important.
19:37I am very happy today.
19:39You name any technology, it has to be in Andhra Pradesh.
19:43Electronics or iTech, either drone technology, satellite, quantum computers.
19:52America is having Silicon Valley, we will have Quantum Valley.
19:57That is the speed we have to move forward.
20:00And also, you know, electronics.
20:03We have to mobilize so many electronic devices.
20:06We will go IoT, sensors, cell phones, everything.
20:10We will move in that direction.
20:12Aerospace, again, Ram Mohanayadu and the Industries Minister here.
20:19There is a lot of demand for flights, even defense and everything.
20:24That also we have to work it out.
20:26These are all the areas, even semiconductor.
20:29Even tomorrow, robotics.
20:32That is the order of the day.
20:34Today we are thinking, tomorrow there is a population problem globally.
20:38Either you have to send people to that country or you have to send robotics to that country.
20:45That is the order of the day.
20:47Even countries like Taiwan are asking me to send people from India.
20:52So this is a huge opportunity.
20:55It is only the imagination, it is only the limitation.
20:59Everything is possible.
21:01From now onwards, you are going to see new things in Andhra Pradesh.
21:05Our Honorable Prime Minister is doing extremely well.
21:09If I say something, earlier they used to ask me, what is this, I cannot follow, I cannot understand.
