00:05least 12 drug cartels operating in the state of Michoacan in the western part of the country.
00:11The North American nation has reaffirmed that this fight within its territory is a national
00:16matter according to the authorities in charge. The operation will focus on a dozen cartels
00:21although it could be expanded if other criminal groups were identified. More than 3,000 agents
00:28have been deployed for the operation according to Secretary of Security Omar García Harpuch.
00:33It is important to highlight that in that state in the past month the mayor Carlos Manzo
00:39and the leader of Citrus Producers Bernardo Bravo were murdered.
