01:20Well, it's huge.
01:20Just look at how the season started for the Raptors when he was struggling versus now.

01:27And with his ability to stretch the floor out and knock shots down.
01:30Remember, he's a score-first point guard.
01:31He creates all kinds of opportunities.
01:33But look at the distance here.
01:34Mamo looking away, creating a little action on one side.

01:40Big mistake.
01:40Notice how quickly he maintains that gap.
01:42He doesn't come in.
01:44Eight-foot split.

02:33And, Leo, I said this a few weeks ago and I'll say it again.
02:37It's important that Emmanuel Quigley lead the Raptors in assists.
02:40We know who Scottie Barnes is.
02:42We know Scottie Barnes is a great facilitator.
02:44And he's going to average six or seven assists.
02:46But if Emmanuel Quigley can lead this team in assists and Scottie Barnes do what he do,
02:51it's going to enable this Raptors team to not only lead the league in assists,
02:55but when that ball is moving, it creates opportunities.
02:58And you look at those three guys.
03:00The Raptors have a chance to have three 20-point scores this year.
03:03And Scottie Barnes, if he can average around 19,
03:06we know Scottie is one of the best facilitators in the league.
03:09I like this Raptor team because this team,
03:11if Quigley keeps developing as a point guard, this team can go deep.
03:15Well, and with that kind of range, you have to play him.
03:17And he puts that ball on the floor, you have an open floor.
03:19Well, you know what's going to be tough for IQ?
03:21He's got to play across from Donovan Mitchell, who's having a career season.
03:25What is he?
03:25Career highs in points, threes, shooting percentage.
03:29Sam, what makes him so difficult to stop?
03:32I think the maturity.
03:33You know, I had a chance to sit down with Donovan Mitchell
03:35in training camp with Cleveland and just to hear him talk.
03:39He understands where he is in his career.
03:42Now, he really feels like he's done, Leo,
03:44everything there is to do except for winning the championship.
03:47And he said to us,
03:48the most important thing for me now is keeping the main thing the main thing.
03:52And the main thing now is winning the championship.
03:54I got enough talent around me that I don't have to carry the load every night.
03:58I got to make sure I keep everybody engaged.
04:01Yeah, I agree with you.
04:02I think it's that maturity.
04:03He can do anything he wants individually,
04:05but he knows that he's got to be the leader.
04:08He needs to win the championship.
04:09If he wants to secure his legacy in this league,
04:11you have to be a champion.
04:13And he understands that.
04:14And he is such a good player.
04:17Offensively, he can get anything he wants, anytime he wants.
04:19But to be mature, you just can't do it anytime you want.
04:22You've got to pick your spots.
04:24And I think he's doing a great job with that early on.
04:26Well, look, obviously,
04:27that's going to be a critical battle in this one.
04:29But, with more in the game,
04:30let's throw it to the guys calling this one.

04:34Well, Jack, when you take a look at the Cleveland Cavaliers,
04:38they pose a lot of problems.
04:4050% of their shots are three-pointers.
04:43They have two bigs.
04:44One plays in Jared Allen.
04:46The other can shoot to three in Evan Mobley.
04:49So, for the Raptors, they have a lot to deal with tonight.
04:52Well said.
04:53I mean, I think it really is a true challenge to your defensive schemes
04:57because, as we know, they do a great job shooting the three,
05:00taking the three.
05:01And then, of course, on the other hand,
05:03those long rebounds that present some challenges on the backboards.
05:07And then, look, you've got to guard all the time out on the perimeter.
05:10That opens up opportunities in the paint.
05:13Look, you get a guy like Jakub Pertl back in the lineup healthy,
05:16that helps their interior defense a great deal.
05:19And he's so sound in his defensive principles.
05:23And the other thing is he helps your efficiency offensively
05:25in the screen and roll game.
05:28And general off the ball, his ability to free guys up.
05:31Look, as you mentioned, they can play a lot of high-low, these guys.
05:35Allen coming off a huge game.
05:37Mobley can really change the game on both backwards.
05:41So, the bottom line for the Raptors, you know,
05:44I think this is probably their best test this year
05:47where they're playing a relatively healthy opponent.
05:50And you know what?
05:51You're a game over .500.
05:52You're starting to believe a little bit this team's playing for all the marbles.

07:55what tweaks can we make?
07:56How can we show up differently?

08:11but they have them for this one.
