00:00Last night, the Denver Nuggets scored 100, a lot of scoring, by the way, if I'm noticing this correctly here in the NBA, 130 points yesterday and a win over the LA Clippers who've really been struggling. But Nikola Jokic put up 55 yesterday. Oh, ho-hum, another day, another game. 18 of 23 from the field. I mean, there's just not enough that we could say about this guy. He's basically unstoppable every game.
00:24I didn't even know, by the way, Brad, I believe the coach told the media a couple days ago that he was having a wrist issue at some point last season. I didn't see that at all. He seemed fantastic for the majority of the season. So, like, he is as good as anything going right now in the NBA, and he continues to be. He'll be top three at MVP voting as long as he's playing in the league.
00:44You know, the 55 points was kind of a letdown, right? After the first quarter, he was on pace for 100. So, he didn't quite get to that mark. But, no, in all seriousness, this Clippers team's not all that good, but the Denver Nuggets are playing some really inspired basketball.
01:00They're playing great defensively in the top five in defensive rating. And, offensively, you know they're going to be inside the top five. They're third currently.
01:08I was telling you guys off-air that I think if you want to go and get spicy with this Denver Nuggets team, I'm surprised the price didn't move.
01:15But you can go and you can get Nikola Jokic to win the NBA Cup. MVP's already off to a good start in the NBA Cup. And to win their group, MVP in the Cup is plus 1,400. And to win their group is plus 270.
01:28They still have to contend with the Spurs, but they do play them, I think, in the last game of group play, which should come down to who's going to win the Cup if they both finish with three wins or two wins and one loss or whatever the four-game math is.
01:43My math's a little fuzzy there. But, yeah, the Clippers aren't a good team, and they laid the hammer on them.
