00:00But a lot of these wins are coming without Wemby.

00:02They beat the Lakers last night 132-119.

00:06That's a huge upset in the NBA when you're getting seven and a half points

00:09and you win the game outright.

00:11Naturally, some of their numbers defensively have slipped a little bit.

00:15But offensively, it seems like they've picked things up.

00:18So what have they learned team-wise with Wemby?

00:22And what will happen when he returns?

00:23If I'm not mistaken, it's later this month.

00:26Yeah, I mean, we talk about the Spurs team with an abundance of riches.

00:29They've gotten pretty fortunate, had some lottery luck.

00:31And talk about Stephon Castle's performance last night,

00:33the reigning rookie of the year.

00:35Dylan Harper, who's had some flashes since he's back in the lineup.

00:38And I think they exposed some of the Lakers' vulnerabilities.

00:41We've seen the Lakers drop some games.

00:43They're 17-7, but they had a softer schedule at a certain point this year.

00:47When they faced tougher opponents, the Suns were able to get the best of them last week

00:50and now the Spurs last night.

00:52And convincingly, without Victor Wemby-Yama.

00:54So I think that we're just seeing some of the kind of issues and flaws in the Lakers

00:59and the way that they play when they play younger, faster teams

01:02and they can't keep up with them.

01:04They don't like to run.

01:05I think that's what the book is on the Lakers.

01:06So we see a young team, young guards giving up down the floor.

01:09And now the Spurs, you know, who knows when Victor Wemby-Yama can get back.
