00:00We're also taking the fight on the deterrence front to cartels.
00:03My advice to foreign terrorist organizations, do not get in a boat.
00:17If you're trafficking drugs to poison the American people,
00:21and we know you're from a designated terrorist organization,
00:23you're a foreign terrorist and a trafficker,
00:25we will find you and we will kill you.
00:27No one is better.
00:30No one is better at tracking and networking and mapping and hunting
00:37than the American military,
00:40honing those skills for many decades in foreign lands.
00:44Now we're doing it in defense of the American people
00:46with all the authorities.
00:47We've got lawyers on lawyers.
00:49All the authorities necessary to do so,
00:52treating these terrorists like the Al-Qaeda of the Western Hemisphere.
00:55After decades of securing other people's borders,
00:58halfway across the world, we're finally securing our own border in our own hemisphere.
01:03An invasion of over 20 million people from around the world with no idea who they are
01:08is a serious and dramatic national security threat.
01:13That's why we're happy to support mass deportations as well of our friends in federal law enforcement.
01:18But we've also surged our posture to the southern border from minute one to lock that border down.
01:24Our goal is 100% operational control of the southern border,
01:27and every passing day we get that much closer.
01:31Cartels, trafficking, and death, all of it across the border ends.
01:35In fact, for the past five months, as I hope you've heard,
01:38there have been zero crossings across our southern border.
01:42We know who's coming in.
01:49Let me tell you, the morale of the troops down there,
01:51it's been, I've gone down there a number of times to meet with the troops,
01:54to be defending our own homeland,
01:56securing our own border,
01:58in a real-world context with real authorities to do so,
02:01partnering with Border Patrol and Mexican Border Patrol on the other side is motivating.
02:06Our men and women down there love what they're doing,
02:08and that's why we revived the 1918 Mexican Border Medal
02:11to pin on their chest when they're done with a six-month tour down there,
02:15securing the border.
02:16These are not guys, you know, with binoculars who don't have actual authorities.
02:21These are, you know, striker platoons with vehicles and optics
02:24able to come alongside Border Patrol
02:26and assist in arrest of those coming across our border and lock it down.
02:30And eventually, more funding will lead to more infrastructure,
02:33more border wall, which will require less of a footprint.
