00:00Dear friends, first of all, I would like to emphasize once again how pleased we are to
00:08welcome our friend, President of Kazakhstan Kasimirat Kimelvich Takayev, and his delegation
00:13on a state visit to Moscow.
00:21For Russia, Kazakhstan is an ally, strategic partner, and good neighbor, with whom we build
00:26multifaceted and equal relations based on the principles of friendship, mutual trust, and
00:31respect.
00:36We sincerely value the strong, time-tested ties with our Kazakh colleagues.
00:42We are proud of our rich shared history, traditions of mutual assistance and support, and the
00:47invaluable wealth of cultural, spiritual, and human contacts.
00:52And on this foundation, we jointly strive to strengthen and expand mutually beneficial
00:57cooperation in politics, economics, and the humanitarian sphere.
01:02I note that the visits program is very comprehensive.
01:06We held productive negotiations, resulting in the approval of a substantial package of
01:11interstate, intergovernmental, and interdepartmental documents, as well as commercial contracts.
01:19Most importantly, together with the President of Kazakhstan, we signed a declaration on the
01:23transition of Russian-Kazakh relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance.
01:29A Kazakh proverb says, the eagle's strength is in its wings, and a man's strength is in
01:34his friends.
01:35Russia, of course, values are good and friendly relations with Kazakhstan.
01:41We are ready to jointly address the most ambitious challenges and confidently move forward for
01:45the benefit and interests of our countries and peoples.
01:51Allow me to propose a toast to the further strengthening of the comprehensive strategic
01:54partnership and alliance between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan, to
01:59the friendship and prosperity of our fraternal peoples, and to the health of Kostya Zomar
02:03Kimelovich and everyone present.
02:13Each time, I dedicate my toast to beautiful Moscow, where the heart of great, fraternal Russia
02:18beats, where decisions are made that are directly related to the development vector of the great
02:22Russian state and the entire world order.
02:37You feel a special sense of involvement in major events and, of course, a sense of sympathy
02:42for the residents of Moscow, the Russian capital, and indeed for all citizens of the Russian
02:46state.
02:54This visit is of great importance for me and for Kazakhstan.
03:00It once again underscores the key place Russia occupies in Kazakhstan's system of foreign policy
03:05priorities.
03:09Russia is our main strategic partner and close ally.
03:16We are connected not only by the world's longest land border, but also by the closely intertwined
03:21destinies of our peoples, cultural affinity, and shared values.
03:33Russia is a unique country, a civilization, a great power that has played and continues to
03:37play a unique role in world history and determines the course of global processes.
03:49All of Russia's successes today are linked to you, dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, through
03:53your work, farsighted policies, and, of course, authoritative leadership.
04:04You make an enormous personal contribution to strengthening Russian statehood and your country's
04:08international standing.
04:13Kazakhstan, as a close ally and reliable friend, is sincerely interested in a strong, stable,
04:18and prosperous Russia.
04:23The talks have once again demonstrated that no external challenges can destroy, let alone
04:28shake, the monolithic foundation of mutual trust between Russia and Kazakhstan.
04:38This is evidenced by the Declaration on a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and Alliance signed today.
04:49This important document is designed to significantly expand the horizons of our multifaceted cooperation,
04:54reflecting the firm will of the peoples of our countries to move forward together to new
04:58heights of cooperation.
05:04Thanks to our joint efforts, bilateral cooperation continues to steadily develop in all areas,
05:09setting an exemplary example of interstate relations.
05:17I am confident that my visit and the agreements reached will lay a significant foundation for
05:21exploring new horizons of close cooperation and collaboration and will serve as the key to
05:25the successful implementation of shared plans for the benefit of our peoples.
05:33I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all those who tirelessly strengthened
05:38the close Kazakh-Russian friendship through their work.
05:44As the great Kazakh poet and thinker Abai said, friendship is a light that never fades even
05:49in the darkest night.
05:58Our shared history proves the power of unity better than any words.
06:04In difficult times, we always stood by each other, supporting each other, enduring trials
06:09together, and achieving a great victory together, a victory that we still cherish and hold sacred
06:14in our hearts.
06:19The wisdom of many centuries is preserved in the Kazakh saying, Kudai Kaskin Kaishi, which
06:24translates as, God-given neighbor.
06:29This is what Russia is to Kazakhstan.
06:32I am confident that the current and future generations of our countries, citizens will
06:38preserve and enhance the traditions of friendship and good neighborliness, passing them on to
06:42their children and grandchildren.
06:47May our eternal friendship and unity for a bright future and the prosperity of our peoples
06:52be unshakable.
