00:03Now, first, I just need to say,

00:05because everyone, it's such an easy punching bag

00:07to be like, oh my gosh, Elon's so rich

00:09and he's going to get a trillion dollars.

00:10This isn't fair.

00:11I mean, the hoops he has to jump through

00:12for him to get that would be insane.

00:14Like, it would benefit shareholders so much.

00:17He has benefited shareholders.

00:18Right, and the pay packages before,

00:20they always agree to it because they're like,

00:21there's no way that this is humanly possible.

00:23There's no way he can meet these benchmarks.

00:26And then he does, and it's great for everyone.

00:28It's a dumb thing to be the head of AMC Theaters.

00:30I remember I covered this story a lot,

00:33who actually paid himself a decent amount of money.

00:35He paid himself a lot because, yeah,

00:36it actually became a meme stock.

00:38Yeah, but think what happened.

00:39And now, I mean, it's not doing so well.

00:41But a lot of meme investors buy high, sell low.

00:43And these guys bought good.

00:45And Adam Aaron was the beneficiary of that, yeah.

00:47And they were, by the way, they,

00:49so AMC now is worth 24 cents, last I checked.

00:52This is after the reverse.

00:54They did a reverse split where it says $2.40,

00:58but it's really, it's worth the equivalent of 24 cents

01:00because it was a 10.4.

01:01It's one thing to be that,

01:03a guy that basically delivers almost no shareholder value.

01:06Creates no value.

01:07Right, no shareholder value.

01:08I mean, he creates value.

01:09I'm sure he's a great guy, nice person.

01:11Yeah, and by the way, he kept the company.

01:13Good father.

01:13He kept the company going.

01:14I mean, I don't know.

01:15But I'm just saying you can make a case

01:16that he created value, but not shareholder value.

01:19Elon has created tremendous shareholder value,

01:21and he pays himself.

01:22So it's hard to really, I mean,

01:25the metrics that we are, that if you believe in capitalism,

01:30and if you're not Zohair and Mondami,

01:32you believe that the metric is,

01:34what do you return to the shareholder?

01:36And by that metric, Elon,

01:39because that's who he works for, did a great job.
