00:00A right-wing rigmarole is underway after Ben Shapiro made a shocking claim about right-wing

00:05political commentator Candace Owens during a live event with Megyn Kelly, alleging Owens

00:11had been spreading a conspiracy theory that grieving widow Erica Kirk was somehow involved

00:16in her husband's disturbing assassination.

00:18I think that what Candace Owens is doing right now is evil.

00:21It is evil what she is doing right now, okay?

00:24And I say that, again.

00:26I don't know pine on whether it's evil or not, but my position is it's really none of

00:32my business.

00:33I have a question.

00:34Why is it none of your business?

00:35I mean, you comment on these things for a living.

00:37I'm not mother of the internet.

00:39No, but if this were on the left and somebody were accusing Charlie Kirk of his wife having

00:43murdered him, I assume that you would be talking about it.

00:46Is that what Candace is accusing Erica of?

00:48Yes.

00:49Of murdering her own husband?

00:50She's accusing TPUSA insiders and other members of the right wing, including Seth Dillon, of

00:55being involved in the murder of Charlie Kirk, yes.

00:58Owens was livid about Shapiro's claim, writing on X that Shapiro lied through his teeth and

01:03that the allegation was made up out of thin air.

01:06Later on her podcast, Owens addressed Shapiro's claims, calling them crazy, and that Shapiro's

01:12lying was implied because he's a Zionist.

01:15The least interesting part of this is the fact that he's lying through his teeth.

01:18That's implied he's a Zionist.

01:20And Charlie dies and suddenly he's like, I care about this evil that could be happening.

01:25Candace is investigating who killed her friend and she shouldn't be doing that.

01:28I mean, there's no way to spin it.

01:30What is his suggestion here?

01:31That me asking questions about Turning Point USA somehow means that I'm blaming Erica, who

01:37wasn't even working for Turning Point USA when Charlie died because now she's the CEO?

01:43Of course he doesn't believe that.

01:44And it is just, to me, it is truly so gross to do this to a person that you know you tried

01:51to block and you just, now that he's dead, I guess you want to sort of rewrite history.

01:55Owens, a former colleague at Shapiro's The Daily Wire, has garnered an ardent following

02:00online and generated millions of views on her podcast episodes questioning the official

02:05narrative about Kirk's assassination at a Utah college campus on September 10th.

02:10In episodes titled, Charlie Kirk Shooting Suspect Charge, Something Isn't Right, Who

02:15Ordered the Hit on Charlie Kirk, and Charlie Kirk Was Being Tracked For Years, Owens has spread

02:20conspiracy theories that Tyler Robinson didn't act alone and allegedly killed him.

02:25Killing Kirk, according to The Guardian.

02:27Megyn Kelly, who hosts her own show on Series XM, also later came out to denounce Shapiro's

02:32allegations and was met with praise by Owens, who wrote on X,

02:36Rarely in politics do you see someone lie so brazenly in an effort to morally blackmail

02:41someone into their position.

02:42He said that Candace has been claiming Erica Kirk was behind the murder of Charlie, which

02:48I had not heard, and I was taken aback because that seems like something I would have heard,

02:53it's so crazy, and I have since learned it is not true.

02:57Candace has not made that claim.

02:59And in fact, I've now seen several clips of Candace specifically defending Erica Kirk and

03:05saying she would never make a claim like that about Erica and that she, you know, she is open-minded

03:09to other people at Turning Point.

03:12That's obvious.

03:13She's been making that point.

03:14I had heard that point, but that, but she has, but she's specifically been defending Erica

03:19Kirk.

03:20Shapiro's claim about Owens' Kirk allegations appears to have come from Steven Crowder,

03:24when on October 23rd, the Rumble political commentator remarked on a clip from Owens,

03:30where she appeared to connect President Trump to Kirk's murder.

03:33My heart aches for the fact that he gave so much of his life to Trump and to politics,

03:38and they just were like, nope, that is it.

03:42It serves us or it doesn't serve us, and we want to move on.

03:45And so here's a holiday.

03:46It's like, as soon as they give you a boulevard and a holiday, they definitely killed you.

03:52What she said was, they, the Fed, give you a boulevard when they, that's a sure sign

03:58that they have killed you.

03:59You know that they have killed you.

04:01The federal government, the Trump administration killed Charlie Kirk is the claim.

04:04And this is the implication, of course, by design.

04:06And you can see the response with people out there saying, oh, well, then anyone who's

04:11close to, yeah, this, this is an inside job.

04:13You know who's really close to President Trump?

04:15And you know who people are now saying stood to game?

04:18Well, Charlie's wife, Erica Kirk, who has now been put, Candace with that language,

04:24with this accusation, has put the wife of Charlie Kirk, and she'll say, that's not what I tried

04:29to do.

04:30It is.

04:31It's the result.

04:32Erica Kirk in the crosshairs.

04:35And some in the mainstream media have also been pushing back on Owen's claims.

04:39In an interview on CNN, reporter Elle Reeve tried to get clarification on Owen's main

04:44contentions regarding Kirk's assassination, and pressed her for evidence on the political

04:48commentator's claim that the FBI forged messages between Robinson and his boyfriend where he

04:54admitted to the murder.

04:55Like, like the feds are like on a computer, like typing it out back and forth.

04:59That's exactly what it is.

05:00The feds made up the text messages.

05:02But you don't have anyone from like the FBI telling you that or law enforcement?

05:05I have leaks.

05:06Okay.

05:07No.

05:08Has anyone leaked to you?

05:09And Tyler Robinson has.

05:11Has anyone said to you, even off the record, like, yeah, we faked these?

05:15I have very strong sources everywhere on both sides.

05:19Well, I look forward to seeing the evidence.
