00:00We'll take a look at the updated odds entering this coming Saturday.

00:04Right now, Texas A&M is the team to beat,

00:07fresh off their road win in Columbia against Missouri,

00:10plus 145 for the Aggies, followed by Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Texas.

00:17It's still a wide-open race entering week number 12,

00:21but the Aggies look like the team to beat at least short-term in the conference.

00:26Well, the Aggies were their only undefeated team.

00:28They have found a way every week to win a football game,

00:31including, and we'll talk about it a little later, handling Missouri pretty comfortably.

00:36And so they are the team to beat because they play good offensively,

00:40win big, win small, play good defense, great third-down football team on defense,

00:45and somebody's going to have to show they can beat Texas A&M for them to take that spot.

00:51After that, it's you pick it, Alabama, Georgia, I think are the next two.

00:55Texas is going to have a chance to play Alabama.

00:58I mean, I'm sorry, they're going to have a chance to play A&M,

01:00and they're going to find out how good they are.

01:02This week ought to be good when Texas plays Georgia as well.

01:05So like the ACC, you've still got some head-to-heads in the next week or two

01:10that are going to mean everything.

01:12I think it's important to recognize we have two SEC potential elimination games this weekend,

01:19Alabama and Oklahoma.

01:21Not so much for Alabama because they only have one loss,

01:24but for Oklahoma fighting for their playoff lives.

01:27And then Texas and Georgia, again, Georgia with only one loss,

01:31but the Longhorns, even though they have only one conference loss,

01:35did lose to top-ranked Ohio State.

01:38So they lose a third game.

01:40Potentially, they could be on the outside looking in for a college football playoff berth.

01:44So when we look at the updated odds, coach, in the SEC,

01:49Ole Miss basically is sitting pretty, right?

01:51Their tough teams are behind them.

01:5411-1 right now.

01:56They have as good a shot as anybody to win a title.

01:59Well, they can get – I mean, they have a great shot of getting to the game.

02:02I mean, Florida, Mississippi State, they're going to be favored over both those games.

02:06And now they've just got to have one great game, one SEC championship game

02:11to just shake the whole thing up.

02:12But really, they go undefeated and just kind of wait and see what happens

02:16because everybody's got a loss now except for Alabama and Texas.

02:21Something's going to give out where they're sitting.

02:22They may very well get a chance to be in that championship game

02:26where they could win it and get the championship.

02:29And we even talk about the week after Thanksgiving, the last week in November,

02:33Georgia will play an out-of-conference game against their arch-rival, Georgia Tech.

02:39That could have conference title odds or college football playoff odds.

02:44And then the Egg Bowl would Ole Miss and Miss State.

02:46Miss State entering this week will be looking to pick up a win to become bowl eligible.

02:52They would love nothing more than to knock off Ole Miss at the end of the regular season

02:56to potentially knock them out of college football playoff contention.

03:00So this is just a first hurl.

03:02So when we look at the updated championship odds for a national title coach,

03:08I think it's important to recognize, yeah, Texas A&M at 7-1, but Georgia is there, Ole Miss.

03:14The Longhorns, I still think, are on the outside looking in,

03:17but I keep going back to that Oklahoma number coach at 40-1.

03:21They pick up this victory this weekend against Alabama and Tuscaloosa.

03:26They're significantly going to be cheaper come next week.

03:29Yeah, the problem, again, when you get to the championship, you've got to win three after you get there.

03:35If you get there, you've got to win three or four to get to the championship game.

03:38And now you're looking at which teams have the strength, the overall talent, play well on both sides of the ball.

03:44And I think you kind of narrow it down.

03:46At least the odds get a little bit greater there.

03:48So it's kind of some fun teams to pick when you see the numbers of the opportunities.

03:55But, again, you're looking not just can they get there.

03:59How can they play well down the stretch?

04:01Like Alabama, do you have a strong enough running game as it goes through to get you through the playoffs?

04:06A lot of these teams don't look as good to be matched up against three of the top teams in the country.

04:11I'm talking about going through the playoffs to get to the championship game.
