00:00Nobody stopping the ball. Ball thrown out to Jalen Williams. Topside. That's a three. And the predictable timeout from Steve Kerr. What are the Warriors doing there? You don't run away from the ball. What are the Warriors doing there?
00:15Now, back to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:20Hi, Tim Roy on the call last night right here on 95.7 The Game. Wow. And it's crossover time, so let's welcome in Willard and Dibbs. What's up, gentlemen? Hello, boys. Will, you go ahead. I love angry announcers. It's my favorite. It's one of my favorite things when the play-by-play people, Fleming is great at them. You can tell they're wearing it. You told me a week ago, Guru, I'm worried about you. The Warriors hit lost. I'm worried about you.
00:46Fan load management. And I kind of, I remember that, but now everybody's wearing it after last night. And I'm proud of myself. Not everybody. Not everybody. No, no, no. I'm mad at the comments from the stewards of the team. I didn't appreciate that.
01:01We can get into all of that. I still think that, like, isn't there room for, last night was awful, that was borderline embarrassing for a night.
01:14It's the word I used.
01:15Okay? And then not make a decision on what that means now for the remainder of the Warriors season.
01:20Oh, no. Oh, my God. No doubt. No funerals.
01:23I don't, yeah.
01:24But last night was more understandable for me. No, the down 36 is embarrassing. But I still have not let go.
01:30You told me to. Indiana and Milwaukee. So now I put it all in the same gumbo. And I'm like, okay.
01:37But then I hear Jimmy and Dre and we had, who called, Stiney, and said a real leader puts blame on themselves first before going to the group.
01:48And had Dre done that, maybe I'm feeling a bit different. And then I feel like, real quick, they're undermining Steve Kerr 12 games in because now all the basketball world is wondering, what the?
01:58Now, UK, you lost. You didn't have it that night.
02:00But now what's going on behind closed doors when you're insinuating and sending subliminals, teams don't want to win. I don't like that, Will and Dibs. That's all. I just, I'm not about that.
02:10What's subliminal? What's the part about Steve Kerr?
02:14No, no, no. Why are you doing the coach's job? How about you say that behind closed doors? Let the coach cook behind closed doors.
02:22Why are you guys airing out dirty laundry for the public, Dibs, to hear?
02:26Sure. Because this thing is already, it's not completely broken like beyond repair, but you're this far into the season and you're already having these statements about agendas.
02:36And the coach has already come out and said things like, you know, the effort wasn't there and the focus.
02:41And Steve, I think a couple days ago, came out and said, I know who we can be. I can see it.
02:46We just need to get there and get that group out there.
02:49And right now, what I'm seeing is a team that is overmatched against Oklahoma City, sure.
02:54But the fact that you're not buttoned up and you're sloppy and now there's a little bit of the sense of there being infighting, that's not good.
03:02To lay a game after halftime, Willard? What are we, I'm just saying, what are we doing?
03:07I'm always under the impression that when we do hear it publicly, it has been said behind closed doors.
03:1250 times. 50 times.
03:14But if it's been said 50 times and we're not even to Thanksgiving yet, that's a problem.
03:19Well, I think that possibly are we potentially making the mistake of acting like this is, these issues all started on game one.
03:29These are not.
03:29Well, they weren't there game one. You beat the Lakers.
03:31No, that's fine.
03:31And then you were four and one and everything was hunky and or dory.
03:34Right, but issues pop up and then they go away and then they come back.
03:38Like, have you ever had a fight with a spouse? Right?
03:40And then they bring up something from December of 2019.
03:43Do you know what I mean?
03:45But how about this?
03:46These are not brand new teammates.
03:48And so if, for example, because I know everybody's going, well, Pods and Kaminga.
03:54Pods and Kaminga.
03:55And I'm not.
03:56Pods or Kaminga.
03:57Well, I am.
03:57What if they were talking to each other?
03:59I think they're mainly talking about Pods and Kaminga.
04:01But if we just, for the Kaminga example, if you've been telling somebody for three years, stop trying to cook.
04:12And then you have a whole summer where, like, it feels like you got somewhere.
04:17And then for five games.
04:19It was beautiful.
04:20He comes out and he doesn't cook.
04:21And then Steph Curry gets sick.
04:25And Jonathan takes a big old, you know how we'd have to take a shot of Kaminga.
04:30He takes a syringe full of cooking.
04:32And he injects it into his arm.
04:34And now here we are again with the team watching him turn the ball over five times in 24 minutes.
04:39Leads the team with 34.
04:40And to them, this isn't a brand new issue that started night one.
04:44That might be an issue that started four years ago.
04:47But from a team, real quick, dynamic, I don't think it's right this early that you called that out.
04:51Well, I mean, again, that's all to me.
04:53But, again, we don't know if the game ended last night and Draymond was in front of the team saying,
04:59hey, man, we've got to get this together.
05:01And you know who we are.
05:02We know what's going on here.
05:04We're not thinking about winning.
05:05We've got guys thinking about agendas.
05:08Well, then he can come out and say it.
05:10Like, he may have expressed frustration to the team about what he was saying.
05:15Because I just saw Jimmy invited Kamingo over for dinner not too long ago.
05:19So I'm not saying that's who they were talking to.
05:22But didn't you let Kamingo cook?
05:23I was waiting for him.
05:24I didn't know how to get in with what Willard said.
05:26I got a smile from Granny.
05:28That's nice.
05:30Unrelated.
05:31This stuff doesn't mean that they hate each other, Gu.
05:33I'm not saying that at all.
05:34Yeah, they can have dinner together.
05:36I just don't like that you're playing this card this early.
05:39And Stiney, and not just him, Gu, you're living in the past.
05:43I've heard it a million times in my life.
05:45Just last April, this team was connected.
05:48Jimmy hit town, and they defensively were getting after it.
05:51The numbers were in there.
05:52Everything changed.
05:53And Stiney's looking at me today, like, asking me, like, that was 10 years ago, Will.
05:59And I'm sorry if that was just not too long ago to expect them to pick up where they left off.
06:04Yeah, the word expect is just a bit.
06:06That's the E word.
06:08It's just a bad word in sports.
06:10I like what Stiney said to you earlier.
06:12You can hope for it, and I don't think you're crazy for hoping for it.
06:16You can use, to me, you can use last April to think about what might be this year.
06:21But you do have to do it again.
06:23You have to pick up and start over.
06:24So what do you think why they're getting off to it?
06:27And again, the season's not over, but why is it looking like this?
06:30Why has Indiana happened?
06:32Milwaukee with no Giannis.
06:34That's worse than, to me, what happened last night.
06:36For whatever reason, they are incredibly sloppy and disjointed.
06:41I don't, like, I get the whole old and slow thing, but we've been playing that card for four years.
06:46They can figure out ways to win, even that way.
06:49They did last year.
06:50They did, like, they've made the playoffs all the years.
06:53So it doesn't mean that, you know, they're not the favorite, but they're not dogs either.
06:59But right now, they are disjointed, unfocused.
07:03Wow.
07:03I don't know why.
07:05I don't know why.
07:06And you got Kerr win.
07:07I can't wait.
07:08Tomorrow?
07:08Tomorrow at three.
07:09Yeah, that's going to be awesome.
07:10And I do think the age part of it is real, and I've said this for the past year and a half about Steph Curry.
07:16Steph Curry still has it in him, but he doesn't have it in him every night.
07:21And I know last night, he's coming off the illness.
07:23He missed three games.
07:24And so, yeah, the legs were a little bit wobbly and whatnot.
07:27But even when he's at his peak, he doesn't go out there and have 35 a night every night.
07:32Like, older players just don't do that consistently.
07:36You throw in Draymond Green, who is looking, I mean, he's looking old.
07:40He's banged up.
07:41He may not play tonight.
07:42Steve Kerr said that going into last night, right?
07:44Yeah, we got a report that all three are available.
07:46They're going to play.
07:47They're all playing.
07:48So Draymond's banged up, but he's going to play.
07:50Well, I wonder what you'll...
07:51You can't make comments and then sit out.
07:53I think that has something to do with it.
07:54I sort of said the same thing earlier today.
07:56I was kind of like, like Steve says, I think I'm going to keep him out.
08:00And then he has that press conference.
08:02And within the press conference also said, I feel fine.
08:05What a terrible look if you park your butt on the San Antonio bench the next night.
08:12Awful room.
08:12I already think it's a bit of a bad look for the organization.
08:15That's fine.
08:15Because Steve Kerr, I think, would like to rest him and load manage him.
08:20Because he sees what we see.
08:22Draymond is not spry and bouncy and how could he be?
08:25And then you add in Al Horford.
08:27Again, older player who's not going to hit four threes every game.
08:31And the one that's really head-scratching to me is Jimmy Butler.
08:34Not that he needs to be played off Jimmy, but he's just kind of blending in.
08:39Not that he's going through the motions, but these are times where you want somebody to like,
08:43Steph is struggling.
08:44And Kaminga, stop cooking.
08:46Give me the ball.
08:47There's a two, I could be wrong, two-cool-for-school element that oozes off my TV when I watch Jimmy.
08:54Like, you know to go do it, Will.
08:56You fought me on Minnesota.
08:58You weren't the only one about the shots in his back.
09:00But just three yesterday, and he wasn't in there that long.
09:02But there is something to him that is like, Jimmy, you know they need you.
09:07You got a cape.
09:08Believe it or not, I pay some attention to this schedule.
09:16And I'm not using it as an excuse, but we should wait until they get done with this trip
09:23and settle into something.
09:24Because it has been a tough early schedule.
09:30And the scary part is, they're all acknowledging that it's a...
09:33So I think it's hard for them, and they know it's hard for them.
09:38And that's...
09:39I don't want to say they're giving in a little bit, but they know this isn't...
09:44They're not capable of showing the true measure of who they are right now.
09:48Because either things are too new, and they're incorporating Kaminga, or...
09:53Just because...
09:54This is a brutal stretch right now, and they're playing great teams.
09:58But Will, to that point, the season just started.
10:01Yeah, that's what's scary.
10:03But that's kind of the point, I think.
10:05Like, that's...
10:06Steve Kerr, you know, Dibs just said in the other room, like...
10:10You can't play 12 people in the NBA and know your identity.
10:14That means you don't have it yet.
10:16And Steve, I bet, would admit that.
10:17You know, because he did that last year, where he's like,
10:20I'm searching for our identity.
10:22I happen to think the Warriors probably think DeAnthony Melton might play an important role
10:27for them this year.
10:27Not even on the team yet.
10:29So he's still searching.
10:30Then they're doing it in the stretch of a difficult schedule with a lot of travel.
10:35And so, yeah, they're in kind of fight-or-flight mode.
10:38They're in survival mode.
10:40And as long as they come out with a 500-ish record,
10:44then their identity, I think, they think will start to come together.
10:48Help me figure this out, guys.
10:49And I'm pro-Kamingo.
10:50We all know this.
10:51And he's taking a step or two back.
10:53I'm disappointed in the handles not there like I thought, Dibs.
10:57But with that said, when you get Kerr on, if just a suggestion,
11:02last year's lineup of pods, help me out, Stoddy.
11:04Moody, Jimmy, Steph, and Dre is what they went on the run with.
11:09If we haven't seen one minute of that this year, why?
11:12You might tonight.
11:12Stoddy said, because of Kaminga.
11:14But I'm like, nobody's a slave to, okay, Kaminga, and I'm pro-Kaminga,
11:18but you've got to get that concoction out there.
11:21But I think what Stoddy's about to say, I mean, Moody was hurt at the start of the year.
11:25So he had to start someone else, and then it worked.
11:27And that four and one.
11:30Right?
11:30Right?
11:31You're not going to then change it.
11:33How would you all feel if Moody does replace J.K. in the starting lineup tonight?
11:38Is that sort of like a clue as to what Draymond was talking about?
11:45I think people might take it that way.
11:47But honestly, I just thought of this last night.
11:50When you had Steve Kerr on the last time, and he made it clear,
11:55well, Moses Moody is our best on-ball defender, and he kind of is not even close.
12:01Well, just last night I was thinking, well, then he's got to start.
12:04He has to start then on this team if he is in fact that.
12:09Because why not start with a guy who's going to defend first
12:12and then give him a shot to make some threes that come off of Butler and Curry and Draymond.
12:17And then maybe the J.K. let-me-cook role fits better when he comes in at the four-minute market
12:23in the first quarter, and Steph is either winding down or coming out.
12:27I think that will fit, but the bottom line and the rat on the table,
12:31brought to you by ICO Pest Control, first rat of the day,
12:34how does J.K. feel about it?
12:35Because if he's up in his feelings all of a sudden again, like, here we go again.
12:39But I'm a J.K. stand.
12:40Who cares, dibs?
12:42No, I'm with you.
12:43I'm a big J.K. fan, but if we get back into the cycle of, not that he ever moped.
12:47He's not invested.
12:48But he started to play a little bit differently when Jimmy came.
12:52His role changed.
12:53The minutes went down.
12:54He got DNPs.
12:55I think that they're cautious to avoid going down that road again.
12:59You're listening to 95.7 The Game, KGMZ FM and HD1 San Francisco
13:03on Odyssey Sports Station, always live on the free Odyssey app
13:06and now broadcasting live from the Laughing Monk studios.
13:09Yeah, I don't know what the answer is.
13:13I do think when we talk about last year's 23-8,
13:17I've got to believe them that the minute Butler got here,
13:20they acknowledged they had to play with urgency.
13:23And they did.
13:24And they were good.
13:26It's hard to tell, you know, three 36-year-olds,
13:29we need to play with that urgency on November 1st.
13:33Wow.
13:33I just think it is.
13:36Yes, but when you go up against the defending champs.
13:38No doubt.
13:38And you're in a spot where Steph is now back, and he's not back-back,
13:42because you could tell he was a little sluggish last night
13:44and he was fighting it a little bit.
13:45But you're taking on OKC.
13:47And even if you play really, really well against that team,
13:51that's going to be a difficult one.
13:52And I can't help but remember last night two times when Pods got caught down low
13:57on defense, Mouse in the house, and Chet Holmgren, he doesn't even have to jump.
14:01I got you.
14:02He's just pulling rebounds by accident.
14:04And it had me thinking about the one thing this roster doesn't have still,
14:08and that's a legitimate interior big man.
14:11And God love TJD.
14:12They tried like heck last night to play him, but oh boy.
14:15I don't know if you've ever watched the animated film Bambi,
14:18but there's some early scenes where Bambi can't even make it from point A to point B.
14:25TJD had a Bambi night last night.
14:26Did he have five turnovers also?
14:28This is incredible.
14:29We can tell him.
14:30It's a story if they didn't hear.
14:31We've gotten to the bottom of it.
14:33Listen to this.
14:34He had six in the official box score.
14:36And I went through it earlier today.
14:38You can actually click on the six.
14:40I love this.
14:40I didn't know.
14:41It'll give you the six turnovers, and you can click and watch the video.
14:44I do this every game.
14:46So, he got credited for one turnover when he was not on the floor.
14:51He wasn't on the floor.
14:52He was not on the floor.
14:53How do you get that?
14:54Curry dribbled into the lane and stumbled, and he lost it.
14:57Curry!
14:58And then there was a, if you remember the one past Curry on the baseline,
15:01tried to hit TJD in the low post, and he had to go get it,
15:05and then he ended up saving it.
15:06That was a TJD turnover.
15:08Well, what's the one when he wasn't on the floor?
15:10It was a Curry travel that they attributed to him.
15:14Did he trip Curry from the bench?
15:16He was not even on the floor.
15:17It was just a mistake in the box score.
15:18And I told you this.
15:19You go to NBA.com in the box score, and every number is blue.
15:23And so, I usually do it for, like, JK of late.
15:26I've been doing JK's field goal attempts.
15:28Let me see how many were old JK, and how many were like,
15:31that's a good, solid heads-up play.
15:33And I haven't gone through last night's yet,
15:34because I'm kind of sick to my stomach already.
15:37But, yeah, the six turnovers, one of them was just a Curry stumble travel.
15:41So, he only had five.
15:42All right, let's go with five, then.
15:44That's still an absurd number for Trace Jackson Davis.
15:47One of them was on an offensive foul, which is a turnover,
15:50but it's not your classic turnover.
15:52Yeah, it's a bad play.
15:54It gives the ball to the other team.
15:56He got one where he got a rebound in traffic,
16:01and he got stripped after an offensive rebound.
16:03He fought to get it back and lost it again.
16:05He tried to make a fancy bounce pass down low, too, in traffic.
16:09That was one.
16:10That was bad.
16:11And he had two plays, Stiney, where he was led a pass,
16:14and he didn't get to it, and he was falling out of bounds.
16:16He's got to save it.
16:17It's just the point of a tag defense is it's terrible on defense.
16:23And that's why I thought Jimmy was five, six years ago, Jimmy,
16:26and he's not.
16:28And it's not just him, but I'm like, oh, you're human on defense.
16:31They were terrible on defense at the start of last year.
16:34And then they got really good.
16:36In a crazy way, I want to see, and again,
16:40they might have to play Melton and Moody together some on this team.
16:46That can work.
16:46To get a stop?
16:48Yes, and also because it looks like those two guys can make shots at times.
16:53So they'll give you defense, and then they can, you know,
16:56Melton made some shots for the Warriors last year,
16:58and Moody's been streaky, so, and if they're two best defensive players,
17:03like they're, if you look at the team,
17:06like Kaminga is way more offense than defense,
17:09but those guys, if their defense is that good,
17:12their offense is good enough to be able to play
17:16if they're playing with, you know, Curry and Butler
17:19and even maybe Kaminga so that they don't have to carry the bulk of the scoring,
17:23but they can be threats.
17:24Yeah.
17:25Guru, this is what I'm getting at.
17:26Okay, because I've got some for you.
17:27Thanksgiving, there's Hanukkah.
17:30Yeah.
17:31Christmas.
17:32Max Konisberg, my neighbors, they were Jewish.
17:34Kwanzaa.
17:34Yep.
17:36Diwali.
17:36New Year's Day.
17:37Diwali.
17:38Look at you.
17:38New Year's Day.
17:40Let's see.
17:41My birthday.
17:44Rosh Hashanah.
17:44Rosh Hashanah.
17:45Uh-oh.
17:45My son's birthday.
17:47Christy's birthday.
17:49The hurricane's birthday.
17:50Keep going.
17:51Christy's dad's birthday.
17:53Donovan's birthday.
17:54John Bloom's birthday.
17:55You love John Bloom's.
17:57Valentine's Day.
17:58We're talking about how many days until we actually have to worry about the Warriors.
18:02These are all things that essentially happen by the trade deadline.
18:08Wow.
18:08We have a long way to go.
18:12Do we know what...
18:13How do you feel if they win tonight?
18:15What if they win tonight?
18:16I wouldn't be shocked.
18:17So that's why I want to make sure.
18:19Like, I'm irritated with the format that's happening with this team.
18:24The leadership that, you know, they were devoid of, so I thought.
18:27And how I felt lied to after how, as an organization, they handled the Jordan Poole-Dre situation.
18:33That's different.
18:34I'm back.
18:34But I don't like what I...
18:36If I was a teammate, I wouldn't appreciate what Jimmy and Dre said, especially Dre, how
18:41he's not been playing well.
18:43And then I didn't get to this Willard and Dibbs, and I want your thoughts.
18:47Oh, by the way, Slater writes a piece about all of a sudden, I didn't like it when it came
18:51out, that Pods was talking about he wanted the keys.
18:54And now he's not starting.
18:56And I feel he ain't being phased out, but his minutes are going down.
19:00And where do you think that came from?
19:03Like, that was an...
19:04Shout out Denzel.
19:06That was an inside man.
19:07Somebody gave, you know, Anthony that information, and it was just curious that it came on the
19:15heels of that story where Draymond and Jimmy are alluding to guys aren't bought in or
19:21playing with agendas.
19:23That's not cool.
19:23That could be part of it.
19:24But if Pods' agenda is becoming better than Steph Curry, in their eyes, and if J.K.'s
19:31agenda is, I want to cook because, man, I showed it earlier this year, and everybody's
19:36got their own agenda, and, you know, even Steph said it, right?
19:39You're the one who told me that quote after the game by Steph.
19:43That was great by Steph.
19:44I mean, it's classic.
19:45That's leadership.
19:45Classic Golden State Warriors.
19:48Draymond's over here, hucks a fireball, Jimmy's in the locker room, and he's like, yeah,
19:53it's kind of a fireball, and then Steph Curry finds the podium and goes, I think they're
19:57talking about me.
19:58I'm the problem.
20:00Like, that's classic Golden State Warriors.
20:03I'm the problem.
20:04All right, Steph.
20:05Yeah, please.
20:06He's trying to find a shot.
20:08It'd be good.
20:09It'd be good if it did.
20:11Yeah.
20:12I'm in favor of Steph's agenda.
20:14That was great, man.
20:15He's unbelievable.
20:16He's unbelievable.
20:17I mean, I'd actually have given that a lot of thought, too, and he got blindsided by
20:22he says agendas, and Steph already goes, right, I probably took some bad shots trying to get
20:29on track, too, so I had one.
20:30I feel like Steph Curry could go to the State of the Union address and get both sides on the
20:35same page.
20:36That's a big ask.
20:38Yeah, I know.
20:39Yeah, well, if they won tonight, I wouldn't be shocked.
20:41Seriously, so I hope...
20:41Did you see what the spread is?
20:44That I didn't.
20:46Willard?
20:49No, I'm going to go a little less.
20:51I'm going to go seven and a half.
20:52Three and a half.
20:53Oh, wow.
20:54Three and a half, yeah.
20:55Interesting.
20:55Lean into that.
20:56It's the Dream on Green agenda game.
20:58They're begging you to take the Spurs.
20:59And De'Aaron Fox is back.
21:01All right, never mind.
21:02I changed my mind.
21:02The Warriors are going to win tonight.
21:04Just based on that spread.
21:05You lock that in?
21:06Lock it.
21:06Cuckooch?
21:07And they play them again Friday.
21:09Yeah.
21:09Yeah, it's a stay and play.
21:10Maybe what we'll find out about San Antonio is they're not quite as good as their highlights
21:15make them look.
21:17You know what I mean?
21:18They're not as good as Oklahoma City, but...
21:21I don't know who is.
21:22Yeah, I...
21:23Well, Denver took them to seven, and Denver's...
21:26Fine, and Indiana might have beaten them, but...
21:28Okay, gotcha.
21:28Now they're champs.
21:29They got 68 wins, and they played last night without Williams and Dort, and...
21:33And you look out there, and it's like, oh my God, that's right.
21:35They have Hartenstein.
21:36Yeah.
21:37So, Chad Holmgren can be your small forward at 7'4".
21:40It's incredible.
21:41I mean, the size and the...
21:42But we look slow, we look small, and we look slow.
21:47Those are killers.
21:48They always look that way when they lose.
21:51We did that all year long last year.
21:54Well, we did it before Jimmy came.
21:56Can I...
21:56Because seriously, after Jimmy came, it wasn't too many of them.
21:59I took...
22:00I took...
22:01Lovely Christy and I went to one of the Rockets Warriors games, and it's fun sometimes to
22:06go with someone who's not, you know, like one of us, where you're staring at every single
22:11uniform thread of every player.
22:14And so, she just steps back at one point, just watching the Rockets play the Warriors.
22:19What did she say?
22:20She's like, from a physical standpoint, the Warriors look like little kids out there.
22:29The Rockets are bigger, they're faster, they're stronger, they are more impressive, they are
22:35more imposing, they are more athletic, they are more everything.
22:39And they lost.
22:41And maybe that's what DeStone is selling every day that I haven't come to terms with.
22:47Yeah, I mean, I'm not trying to say the Warriors are going to win a title or anything.
22:50Well, I said, Weston, at the Summit, and he's trying to get me to back down.
22:53I won't, but I'm concerned.
22:55I'm not trying to get you to back down.
22:57Yeah, but I could be concerned.
22:58Did you guys ever consummate your 52 win?
23:01No, what was 50?
23:02It's 49 and a half.
23:03Okay.
23:03And now I'm...
23:04Oh, boy.
23:0644 and 26.
23:07Easy for him.
23:08Long season.
23:09Long season.
23:09Still got a lot of long season.
23:11And do you look around what's going on in Dallas and maybe sack if you're Mike D and Joe
23:16Lacob?
23:16I'm just saying.
23:17I heard the Joes this morning talking about it.
23:20Would Anthony Davis interest you if you could get him for...
23:24I'm just throwing it out there.
23:25He's too young.
23:26I'm with Spadoni on this one.
23:28Like, if you're going to be mad at Draymond for saying this 12 games in, then I get to
23:33be mad at you for talking about trades 12 games in.
23:35Well, only because both franchises said they're going to blow it up or whatnot.
23:39Now, it's the only reason you got Jimmy Butler because it got ugly in my hand.
23:45We're not talking trades.
23:47They ain't thinking about that for two months.
23:48I just want somebody to do the research.
23:50Evan, maybe you know this.
23:52What's the JK day?
23:54What's the earliest possible date upon which he can be traded?
23:59Well, Dibs and I were talking about this thing in the other room.
24:01January something.
24:03I don't want to do this because...
24:04Oh, January.
24:05Well, this is a visual thing and most of our audience is on the radio.
24:07We got you.
24:08So I'll describe it.
24:09But over the summer, the Jonathan Kaminga trade-o-meter was all the way up here.
24:15It was a 10 out of 10.
24:16I'm making a right angle.
24:17Okay.
24:18Okay.
24:18Two and a half weeks ago, it was almost off.
24:22You got to extend that, man.
24:23One pizza sliver left.
24:25Here goes my arm.
24:27Yeah.
24:28We're about halfway back up.
24:29It's about five and a half, yeah.
24:30We're about halfway back up, aren't we?
24:32No doubt.
24:32That's why I was just curious the day, the JK day.
24:35January 15th.
24:35Thank you very much.
24:36I don't think that's a healthy thing either, though.
24:38Especially when Draymond said, oh, by the way, if you can't make your agenda fit,
24:42it's usually the reason that they get rid of you.
24:47This is a great quote, actually.
24:48It's a really good quote.
24:49That is almost exactly halfway through the year.
24:51That's game 40.
24:52They host New York at Chase Center on January 15th.
24:57And then the trading deadline will come about 12 games later.
25:02All right.
25:03Well, you guys got a lot to talk about, including Brock Purdy.
25:06Well, remember, we have another shorty today.
25:09Don't be jealous.
25:11I'm not jealous.
25:12I'm disappointed.
25:13Real quick, Dibs.
25:14How do you attack the show knowing only got two quarters of a day with fervor?
25:19That's how you do it.
25:19Greg Cosell, we're not going to have the usual lengthy back and forth.
25:23It'll be a tighter Cosell today at 3.30.
25:25We'll move it to 3.30, yeah.
25:26Okay, gotcha.
25:28That's got to be a cool feeling, though.
25:29You love work, but damn.
25:31Remember when John Smoltz was a starter, and then he became a closer,
25:34and he gained five miles an hour on his fastball?
25:37That's how you got it.
25:38Yeah, yeah.
25:39He also gained about 10 pounds.
25:40Yeah, that too.
25:41There was a lot of food in the other room, so I did that too.
25:44All right, gentlemen, have a great show.
25:47And what's it, truncated?
25:51Yeah, that's what I did.
25:51Yeah, that's what I did.
25:51Yeah, that's what I did.
25:51Yeah, that's what I did.
25:51Yeah, that's what I did.
25:51Yeah, that's what I did.
25:51Yeah, that's what I did.
25:52Yeah, that's what I did.
25:52Yeah, that's what I did.
25:52Yeah, that's what I did.
25:52Yeah, that's what I did.
25:52Yeah, that's what I did.
25:52Yeah, that's what I did.
25:52Yeah, that's what I did.
25:52Yeah, that's what I did.
25:52Yeah, that's what I did.
25:52Yeah, that's what I did.
25:52Yeah, that's what I did.
25:52Yeah, that's what I did.
25:52Yeah, that's what I did.
25:52Yeah, that's what I did.
25:52that's what I did.
