00:00The Commission on Elections, or COMELEC, officially proclaims attorney Jan Franz Chan as the new representative of Akubiko Partilist.

00:09This comes after the resignation of former Representative Zaldiko due to his alleged involvement in the flood control anomaly.

00:17Chan is the group's third nominee. After his proclamation, he expressed his excitement to serve.

00:22He has also mentioned mental health, disaster resiliency, among others, as part of the bills he will be pushing for.

00:30To recall, Akubiko Partilist has won two seats in the 2025 national election.

00:35This means that Chan will be seating alongside the group's second nominee and Representative Attorney Alfredo Garbin.
