00:00The Commission on Elections or Comelec National Board of Canvassers is expected to canvass the remaining 16 certificates of canvas today.

00:10This follows the canvassing of 101 COCs yesterday and 58 during the first day, bringing the total of 159 out of the 175 required.

00:22The poll body said they are still waiting for the transmission of COCs from several overseas voting posts, including Portugal, Pakistan, Egypt, Iran and other locations.

00:35Despite the pending transmissions, Comelec Chairman George Irwin Garcia assured the public that the commission is aiming to finish the canvassing today in order to proclaim the winning senators and party list groups by this coming weekend.
