Catherine Connolly has been inaugurated as the 10th President of Ireland at Dublin Castle. She received the presidential seal of office from the Chief Justice, Donal O’Donnell, during the historic ceremony.
A veteran left-wing politician, Connolly takes over from Michael D. Higgins and pledged to serve with dignity, determination, and courage. She emphasized unity, diversity, and a vision for a republic that values all its citizens.
