00:00Play of the weekend in both college and pro football, probably the touchdown that Indiana
00:06got to beat Penn State 27 to 24. At this point, I think it's fair to say that was the scare
00:13that they're going to have this season. And now Fernando Mendoza can just focus on getting wins.
00:18And I think the Heisman Trophy is definitely very much in play. I mean, I still think Julian
00:24Sainz got a great, great shot at this, even though their defense, I think, is better than
00:27their offense. But everyone's talking, Bill, about the call by Gus Johnson at the end of the game and
00:33losing his voice and going crazy there. Hey, that's a Heisman moment, though, isn't it? That
00:38touchdown? He's had a couple of those this year between that drive and then the drive at Iowa that
00:43helped Indiana win that game. And, you know, first of all, Omar Cooper Jr., what body control to make
00:49that catch? It's one of the best catches I've seen in recent memory, the way he elevated and then got
00:55his feet down. Fernando Mendoza's calm because, to be fair, Penn State did everything but win the
01:02game. They controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides. They ran the football well. They rallied in
01:06the second half. They had a chance to put Indiana away with the home crowd. And Fernando Mendoza took
01:13advantage of the situation. I do think Julian Sainz is still a better Heisman bet because if it comes
01:19down to the Big Ten championship game, I'm going to probably pick Ohio State in that moment. The only
01:24thing, though, Craig, how many votes does Jeremiah Smith steal from both of these guys and make it
01:30almost like a three-way Big Ten race? He's one of the best. I still think he's the best player in the
01:34country.
