00:00The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines, or NGCP, doubles its efforts under a 10-day deadline order from the Department of Energy to restore all power transmission lines in areas affected by UAN.
00:15The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines, or NGCP, reports damage in their structures and power transmission lines amid devastation brought by Super Typhoon UAN.
00:27Included in the damage were collapsed power transmission posts and severed transmission cables.
00:33May 16 tuppled structures or yung tumumba na poste. Meron tayong 12 nakahilig or leaning structures. Tapos may 26 na ibang facilities na conductors or naputol yung kable. O di kaya may nakasampang vegetation o puno.
00:53Lumerous power transmission lines are still offline, but several lines were already restored.
00:59But the grid operator confirms, transmission services are still unavailable for the whole mountain province and Camarines Norte, while partial outages have been reported in Benguet, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Ifugao, Quezon Province, Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorosogon, and Northern Samar.

01:37The NGCP said it was given 10-day deadline by the Department of Energy to restore power transmission services in all affected areas.
01:47On the other hand, the NGCP also announced a higher transmission rate for November.
01:52It rose from 1 peso and 39 centavos per kilowatt hour to 1 peso and 51 centavos or equivalent to a 7.91% increase.
02:03A customer with a 200 kilowatt hour monthly consumption of electricity will have a 302 peso average transmission rate in their bill.
02:13The increase in rates generally is due to the, by the security service reserve, the increase is due to the high prices on the reserve market.
