00:00Jasmine, it's an incredible honor to be able to speak to you today.
00:03Aw.
00:04And I can't believe the tell-all is this week.
00:07You know, and your life has changed in so many different ways this season.
00:11Has it been surreal watching it all back?
00:14Yes.
00:15I feel like, ah, what is this girl doing?
00:18Yelling at myself, you know, like if it was a movie sometimes.
00:23It's been quite a yearning, but at the end of the day,
00:27I give myself the grace and credit that I deserve because, like,
00:31my life went through so many ups and downs, emotions, and, you know,
00:37it wasn't easy, but I made it to the end,
00:40and I cannot wait to see the tell-all on TV because it's going to be fire.
00:45You recently did something very bold and shaved your head,
00:48and I've watched your hair journey over the years,
00:51so I know a bit of your struggles.
00:53Yeah.
00:54Why was now the right time?
00:55Well, it's been, you know, it wasn't an easy decision,
01:02but I have always struggled with alopecia.
01:05It's something that I cannot control because it's an autoimmune disease.
01:09Like, basically, my own body kind of destroys the follicles of my hair,
01:14and I have always had bouquet for it because I know, like,
01:17the toll that it takes for a person to lose their hair for many reasons.
01:22And there are certain things that really trigger alopecia,
01:26and one of them is postpartum.
01:29And after having Matilda, like, it fared up even harder than ever,
01:34and I was like, okay, I'm not in the mental, emotional state
01:38to go through all this hair loss again, and I felt so powerless.
01:43So doing this was a way for me to just have control over my hair loss,
01:49and I wanted to focus on the happiness of being with my baby,
01:54like, nurturing hair rather than just being so self-aware of losing my hair.
01:58And this has been, like, freedom, finally.
02:02And I tell myself, like, war is over, you know?
02:05Matilda is absolutely gorgeous.
02:08Yeah, and she's so lucky to have you and Matt as parents.
02:11You know, how has being parents changed your relationship with Matt?
02:16Well, this is the thing, that there was never a relationship with Matt, you know?
02:22I was married to, you know, you know the story.
02:24And then we started living together as our roommates,
02:27and then, you know, I got pregnant, and now I have Matilda.
02:31So it's been kind of chaotic because I'm parenting Matilda with a person
02:39that I'm getting to know for real for the very first time.
02:42So it's like I'm learning about him.
02:47He's learning about me, and at the same time,
02:49in a very new version of ourselves as parents.
02:52So it's not easy.
02:54It causes a lot of tension.
02:57I mean, it causes tension even for marriages that have been together
03:00for a long time, and then they have children.
03:02So imagine for two kind of strangers that used to have casual sex.
03:08I mean, to, you know, live together 24-7
03:10and deal with the baby all by ourselves.
03:14So not easy.
03:15Right.
03:16And you were in labor for over eight hours with Matilda,
03:20and we got to see just a little bit of what you went through.
03:23And the pain was unbearable, clearly.
03:29We're going to work together.
03:31Oh.
03:32Take a deep breath, and then you push down.
03:35Yeah.
03:38What do you remember from the day Matilda was born?
03:42Well, this is a tricky question because, you know,
03:47there is some kind of amnesia when you have children,
03:50and that's why women keep having children because they forget how painful it was.
03:55And then you are like, it was beautiful when I hold her.
03:58You just focus on the good things.
03:59But I'm not going to lie.
04:01On a medicated birth, it's painful.
04:05You feel that you're going to die, but the bad thing is that you don't die.
04:10Actually, you have to be super strong and push
04:12because you want to, you know, deliver your baby.
04:16But I am very glad that everything happened the way it happened.
04:22That's the way that I wanted it.
04:24Thank you, Bill.
04:25I imagine her in so many different ways,
04:30but none of them get even closer to how perfect and beautiful she actually is.
04:37Right.
04:37And it's clear that you were in a very supportive place.
04:40Yes, and my midwife is an immigrant, same as me,
04:47that came to the country, you know, with dreams and hopes.
04:51And I don't want to get emotional.
04:53She knew.
04:56She understood me very well.
04:58She made me feel validated, you know, like my fear.
05:02She was like, I've been in your shoes, and I'm here to support you.
05:06And I'm not going to say that I'm your mother,
05:09but if you need a mother right now, I can be that for you.
05:13Switching to something that I hope is a little lighter.
05:15Yeah.
05:15I do have to ask you about Matt's tow truck idea.
05:19You know, did he end up buying that tow truck?
05:23How's it going?
05:24What you're doing?
05:25This is what I'm going to do on the side.
05:29You're joking.
05:30I'm not.
05:32We need another income.
05:35This is going to be it.
05:36Every time I think about that tow truck, I want to hug him in the neck.
05:41Like, hug him very tight in the neck.
05:43Well, this is the thing.
05:45He spent this huge amount of money on this tow truck that he doesn't know how to use.
05:51And still to the point, he's not using it.
05:54So, it's just like the ornaments in a Christmas tree, just decoration.
05:59And it's money sitting there.
06:01And it's like, I don't know what he's going to do with the truck.
06:04I don't know.
06:07But he has to figure it out.
06:08And he knows that.
06:10He has to figure it out.
06:11That's good.
06:11Well, I'm manifesting that for him.
06:14Yeah, he's manifesting it as well because he has a due date.
06:17Well, I really enjoyed getting to meet Matt's mom and sister and getting to see them meet
06:25Matilda for the first time.
06:26Hi, Matilda.
06:28She's so cute.
06:30She's so cute, Matty.
06:31She does look good, Matty.
06:34She does, right?
06:36Yes, she does.
06:37What was it like to watch them bond?
06:40Beautiful, beautiful.
06:42It's interesting that the same thing can make you happy and sad at the same time.
06:46Happy for Matt and for Matilda and for Matilda's grandma.
06:49But at the same time, it's like, oh, what about my family?
06:52You know, I want them to bond with my baby as well.
06:56But it was beautiful to see them, you know.
06:58It's her first grandchild.
07:00So, it was like a big deal for everyone.
07:02Yeah, and has your own family gotten to interact with her over Zoom?
07:06How's that been going?
07:07Yes, like every single day.
07:10My mom is Matilda's biggest fan.
07:12She is obsessed.
07:14Like, the wallpaper on her phone is Matilda.
07:18Pictures of Matilda all over the place.
07:20Like, she goes literally to the grocery store and the cashier.
07:23Like, you want to see my granddaughter?
07:25You know, this is Matilda.
07:26That's how much she loves her.
07:28And same with my other two sons, you know.
07:31Like, it's not the same.
07:32But at least I can take technology that it could be much worse if we didn't have it.
07:37Of course, I do have to ask about Gino.
07:39Oh, no.
07:41My day was going great.
07:44Well, you know, I've been really disappointed in him.
07:47Good.
07:47Me too.
07:48Well, he's so vindictive and angry towards you, which has been tough to watch as a viewer.
07:54Jasmine got her green card in hand and left.
07:58I would be happy if she gets deported.
08:01I think she deserves it.
08:03I want her to feel some pain like I felt pain.
08:06Has his behavior surprised you at all?
08:08Listen, I'm in the same shoes as you.
08:12I'm watching this for the very first time.
08:15Like, he's saying the things that he's saying, and I can barely recognize this man.
08:20I, he's allowed to feel whatever he wants to feel because how we ended, you know, was not
08:29what we were expecting and dreaming of.
08:32But regardless, the fact that he's so full of hate, like, sounds like he wants to cause
08:40like a lot of pain on me and things didn't work out, not just because of me.
08:45He should take accountability that, hey, it plays, it takes two to play tango.
08:51So he is as guilty as well.
08:53So he should just, like, do some healing and it makes me sad.
09:01It makes me sad to hear him saying those things about me because I will never be able to hate
09:06him.
09:06And I don't think I will ever be able to, to hate ones that I love as much as I love,
09:13you know?
09:14Right.
09:15I think it's contrary to, contrary to whatever he says, there was so much love there.
09:21And that's one of the things that hurts me the most is still to the day when he said
09:26that she never loved me.
09:28Like, dude, I gave you five years of my life and I not, didn't love you.
09:34I was obsessed with you.
09:36Okay.
09:36To the point that I was scared of you talking to the waitress of you, you know, going to
09:44a strip club for your bachelor party, all these things.
09:47Like, I took a light detector test, you know?
09:50And I was like, ask me whatever you want to ask.
09:53I love this man, you know?
09:54And this is the proof.
09:56So he's saying that I never loved him.
10:00That is even worse than whatever he can say, you know?
10:03Like, that is, like, the lowest of the low to me.
10:06I loved your friendship with Gino's cousin, Dana, and his wife, Michelle.
10:10Have you stayed in contact with them?
10:11Yes, they came to visit me to Florida to meet Matilda, and it's Auntie Michelle and Uncle
10:20Dana.
10:20They are part of my family now, and that is something that, you know, regardless of what
10:28happened between me and Gino, we're always going to be family.
10:31I want to talk about the tell-all.
10:32I watched the trailer, and my jaw was on the floor.
10:36I'm not pissed.
10:37Lauren and I aren't friends anymore because we can't trust each other because she's being
10:41What was your mindset going into that reunion?
10:48So you saw it.
10:50It's a lot of, there is a lot of energy, you know?
10:57Especially with the girls, I felt like this time, I love them all, but there was a lot
11:02of, like, mean girl energy, and I kind of didn't like that.
11:08I always go, like, a blank page, you know, like, I want to be nice, I want to get along
11:13with everyone, but that just lasts, like, the first hour.
11:16After that, it's like, these people, like, hey, everyone, you know?
11:20I'm so glad that after this, I never want to see you.
11:24This is so toxic, you know?
11:25And on top of that, I was like, oh, great, as if it wasn't enough to see these people
11:32for hours filming the tell-all.
11:34Now, I have to go back and live with them, and one of them being Gino, and mad there,
11:41too.
11:41So, it's, it's a nightmare.
11:45Right.
11:45Yeah.
11:46Well, it was so funny to see how many of you live in Florida.
11:50Will you be calling up anyone to hang out with over the next few months, or do you need
11:55some distance?
11:58If it wasn't for the weather, I was looking at the mat, what other state we can move,
12:03you know, because these people are toxic.
12:06I'm toxic as well, so that wouldn't be a good combination.
12:10You know, these Florida couples, it's like, I don't know if you ever had, like, in high
12:15school, like, like, the kind of, like, oh, you thought you have a friend, but she, like,
12:21actually hated you, and you never noticed until the very end.
12:24So, this is, like, the dynamic with these people, and I was literally, as you saw in the preview,
12:29sitting between Lauren and Alexei, and Elizabeth, and Andrei, and during the hotel, you will see
12:38they were trying to make the other couples big sides, and that put a lot of pressure on
12:43me, because I was like, you know what, your drama is so exhausting, and I don't want to
12:48be part of it, but it's the tello, so they were, like, dragging everyone into that, and
12:55it was chaotic.
