00:00Did you have any takeaway from what was a big scoring day,
00:03at least what felt like a big scoring day, Joe?
00:06Or, you know, we had a ton of points scored in the Berlin game
00:09at the end of it, right, between Atlanta and Indianapolis.
00:11A bunch of that was done through the offensive productivity
00:14of Daniel Jones and Jonathan Taylor.
00:17They put up numbers.
00:18When you look at the Jets, they get the punt return.
00:20I mean, Justin Fields had one pass to Bree Saul for 42 yards.
00:26And, I mean, that was a pathetic stat line, right?
00:29You look at the Arizona game, not one but two fumble returns
00:33by Demarcus Lawrence.
00:34I didn't think it was possible that Jacoby Brissett would get smashed
00:39not once but twice and feel the pressure, man.
00:42You know, step up in the pocket, do something.
00:45The game plan for some of these teams that lost yesterday
00:49was absolutely pathetic.
00:52I mean, I know you love Detroit, but if you're Washington,
00:55you know you're undermanned.
00:57You know that you can't get into a shootout.
01:00You just can't.
01:02You didn't get into a shootout with Pat Mahomes.
01:04You're not going to do it with this team in Detroit.
01:07And their inability to run the football consistently.
01:11Chris Rodriguez comes out in the first half.
01:14He has basically averaged five yards a carry and a touchdown.
01:17They never go back to the rushing attack.
01:19Yeah.
01:19I mean, how do you neutralize an explosive offense
01:23when your defense stinks?
01:25You run the football.
01:26I mean, I just don't understand all these gurus.
01:30Tell me what we're missing here.
01:32I think, you know, again, what stands out, of course,
01:34is that four o'clock win.
01:36I mean, Detroit just smashed them.
01:37But the 49ers, too, when I broke the game down,
01:40what did I tell you?
01:41Matt Jones and that team can't get into a shootout with the Rams, right?
01:45Where was the rushing attack with McCaffrey, with Bryan Robinson?
01:49I want to ask you a question.
01:50Fall behind 21-0.
01:52I want to ask you a question, right?
01:53You look at the way the markets are moving, right?
01:55There's a lot of belief between what Seattle is doing
01:59and what L.A. is doing.
02:00They are actually playing one another next week.
02:03Yeah.
02:05Who were you more impressed by, L.A. or Seattle,
02:08in what was, I mean, still, at least by final score,
02:10dominant victory?
02:12For me.
02:13You could say you weren't that impressed if that was.
02:15No.
02:16Because your face is kind of telling me that.
02:17No, I mean, I'm not fully impressed with both.
02:21Okay.
02:21But if you're asking me in a playoff environment,
02:25which team do I feel now is built better?
02:30I think it's Seattle.
02:33Okay.
02:33Even though it's Darnold.
02:35Because that defense, I think, to me, is flying to the football.
02:40The front seven, they're very difficult to run on.
02:43The back end forces turnovers.
02:45They get after quarterback pressures.
02:47And what's the one thing they have?
02:49A two-headed beast with Zach Charbonnet and Kenneth Walker
02:53that in a playoff environment, they can ground and pound.
02:56As opposed to, yeah, I know Kyron and Blake are there,
02:59but it's more of a finesse type of offense, I feel.
03:03I just feel like, you know, Stafford, I still, I know he's putting up MVP type
03:08of numbers, best season potentially over the last five or six years.
03:12But you saw Devontae Adams go down.
03:14He tweaked his back just juking yesterday.
03:17I mean, I still believe I've been more impressed with Seattle
03:21and how opportunistic they have been.
03:24And plus, they're a battle-tested road team.
03:26They have now a win streak on the road where they know how to go into tough environments
03:31and pull out a W.
03:32And I'm not taking away from the Rams win.
03:34I just think that that, again, was more that San Francisco so beat up
03:41that that game plan that they went in with the other day just,
03:45it was the wrong game plan.
03:47And that's what allowed L.A. to build the lead.
03:49So, for me, I think that Seattle having, I think it's like three of the five
03:57biggest scoring first halves all year long, I think there's something to that.
04:03I thought the defense would be very good coming into the season.
04:06But from that end of it, they've absolutely proven that that defense is real.
04:09But I think they have the argument not to take it away.
04:12I think they could be the best unit.
04:14I agree with you.
04:14I mean, and I'm talking just the eye test.
04:17I thought it was Philly to start the year,
04:20but obviously we haven't seen that just yet.
04:22Defensively.
04:22Defensively.
04:23But again, there's still the second half of the season, you know.
04:26And I believe in Fangio, big picture.
04:29But Seattle, to me, is like, wow, the eye test.
04:31This is like the Ravens with Ray Lewis back in the day.
