00:01With 20 days to go before the general elections, Marlon Ochoa, a member of Honduras National

00:06Electoral Council, reported a serious failure in the transmission system simulation linked

00:11to allegations of plans to undermine democracy.

00:14According to a message posted on social media by the Councilor, at the end of the test conducted

00:20for this Sunday's election drill, only 35 percent of the expected records were transmitted

00:25and only a quarter of the biometric devices work.

00:29Ochoa explained that the satellite connectivity and one of the transmission channels failed,

00:35raising serious doubts about the reliability of the system.

00:39The complaint describes the incident as evidence of a conspiracy by the National Electoral Council

00:45as part of the allegation of plans to undermine democracy and demands that the body guarantee

00:50the transparency of the process.
