00:00it's about moving forward from today whatever it takes to fix it is what has to happen
00:11that's better that is fast there nobody needs no i'm racing this car at silverstone it's two
00:21driver do you want to have a laugh i bloody loved it after four roller coaster years in the classic
00:30car restoration business that worked i'm going to claim my thought of everything it seems i've
00:36finally cracked it happy customer that's a good feeling we've dragged out the art department
00:41you're going to get your asses over here damn quick into the 21st century our reach on that day
00:47was 317 000 people and as brand ambassador if you happen to have a car in the uk ever i'm leading
00:56the charge this is brilliant at least that's what i thought if you've over promised you can't under
01:06deliver until my mum arrived they won't listen to me they'll listen to me and it turns out that once
01:12again i'm in deep trouble i'm gonna have to do something i'm gonna have to do something big oh my god
01:33i am pretty excited about this opportunity to go racing with patrick blakene edwards my mate and
01:48there's there's a slight issue in that to race with him at his level i've got to upgrade my racing
01:53license but i've done a bit of reading and researching and to do that i just need to do a little bit of
01:59marshalling at another race so thinking about it that's like a win-win so i've got to do a bit more
02:05racing to do some more racing which is why i've dragged the mgb out of storage and i'm taking it
02:10into the workshop to give it a once over and this is good morning how are you i'm good good good good
02:32but um why is that here that's our race car isn't it well i can see it's the race car but why is it here
02:37well because i've been given the chance to do like a next level race with patrick and to do it
02:42i've got to get my license upgraded and i do that by doing some more races in that to get the signatures
02:48so i've brought this in to give to the lads just give it one server and make sure it's not going to
02:52explode and it works so you're thinking of banging that in the workshop and using more workshop time
03:00well a bit and then they can come and just you know they do what they love doing be my workshop team
03:04they enjoy it on the day for being the team surprised that they enjoy it but it's not making
03:08money no but if they're being a race team it's motivational and i'm going to be fair here i think
03:17under my watch that's not happening do you know what the pomeroy trophy cost no that cost you 10 grand
03:25can't take the lads no it can't happen like that rich okay i'll think of another way okay
03:30probably already happening okay good man see you in a bit
03:39reluctantly you have to admit adrian's probably right um i can't be spending workshop resources
03:47on that and it's not like we're awash with cash at the best of times but there's an issue um
03:54i have kind of already committed to a race at silverstone coming up very soon it's awkward
04:04bugger while i let that little problem percolate i'm hoping a trip up north to see an old mate called
04:11ellis will help show hadrian i'm not a complete idiot when it comes to business
04:16so i used to sell antique pine furniture and then deliver it in my little van and i worked alongside
04:25ellis okay such a small world hey ellis and i shared a love of bikes and now nearly four decades on
04:34he's launching a new boutique british motorcycle brand and wants our help this is awesome this is
04:39going to be the smallest cogs first collaboration with a manufacturer and a brand yeah it would be
04:44i can do with some social content oh yeah we're going to their big factory there now no no no it's not
04:49honda oh there's motorcycles you see straight away i'm happy the prototype bikes have been designed
04:59and built in a home garage with the help of business partner ian hello hello it nice to see you
05:07mate this is lewis hiya nice to meet you lewis all right hi how are you nice to see you nice to see
05:13you all right hi please to meet you please to meet you right so we had the initial chair i haven't seen
05:18one yet can we have a look at the bike before we do anything of course so is this number one it is
05:24genuinely yeah yeah yeah so these guys because they're mad at a time when the motorcycle market is
05:31struggling yeah and the record of small independent manufacturers succeeding is
05:37disastrous um you're launching will you stop it now i think this is great positivity brilliant i mean
05:46i would never have forecast this when we knew each other 30 40 it's not 40 years ago 50.
05:52shut up some some years ago that you've been doing this so what is it what what's the
05:57what's the story where's the engine come from the engine's from italy what capacity is it 600
06:02parallel to it single single yeah and we just wanted to make something like the bikes we used
06:07to ride when we were kids we just tried to be as lean as possible how many are you hoping to make if
06:12we got to the point where we're making a couple of hundred a year it'd be great right can i have a
06:17set on your motorcycle you can you can valet yeah you can be nice to me now because i was always scared
06:25of you when we worked so we like you're bigger than me that's it oh you sound quite naughty doesn't
06:34it yeah i like the layout of it it's quite off-road-y feeling so what's this one in it so this is same
06:41engine but different bodywork it's got slightly more duck tail on it it has yeah so it's more of a
06:46flat tracker type style cool right so what when and how can the smallest cog help we are looking for
06:53someone to paint the tanks yeah but we also need some suggestions for colors what have you got
06:58so far so we've got the blue the black and the red and how did you arrive at those he looked at
07:03the internet for 10 years i was thinking about my felt tip okay so blue black and red these incredible
07:09new colors you've discovered we'll come up with some suggestions i'd love us to have a think about
07:13some sort of special finishes as well when are you hoping to be in production this year right i can
07:19see it being quite a good launch with the uh smallest cog as well yeah some sort of launch
07:23you get the press to see it um ellis i think you might be able to shed some light on a particular
07:30photo i was doing a little bit of uh reading when did you last read well it had pictures in it hold on
07:39oh ready for this that's not what i think it is just firstly oh firstly let's look at the first
07:45this is a long time ago now there's a particular page you might be able to tell me about this van
07:52well firstly that is an intact works van right and on richard's commute one particular bend there was a
07:58very old oak tree i went off the bend and hit the tree the van was totaled the following week a new
08:05van was delivered and history repeated no way yep the following week brand new van same same tree same
08:12band i wasn't expecting that too bad consecutive weeks oh my god so that's crashing from day dot then
08:18yeah yeah so what's great is actually to see a one piece reno van i'm taking that off you i don't know
08:25where you got it i'm going to go out and get one of those books that's a sale
08:32this is kind of the ultimate men in sheds and i'm not being rude to them when i say that because they want
08:35to be in full production and i think we're about ready to give this a go a sense of fun
08:55so the guys at mac you go to anybody shop and they've decided to come to us
09:00so i really want to show off what we can do and hopefully we get the contracts
09:20i'm not taking any pleasure in watching this video because i know there's a race car
09:25crash coming and i know it's my mate in the car but i'm going to watch it anyway and here he comes
09:29he's lost it oh that went over that's up that's in the wall yeah well actually he's more than a mate
09:38he's a colleague mark sandman i've worked with him for to measure in decades on grand tour and top gear
09:45he's a mad keen racer in his classic mini and well as i just saw he bent it at an event but the good
09:53news is he's brought it to me to get it mended right i'm going to go and see the wreckage nice to
09:59see mark as well here he comes all sound men have a van and there's his van there will be a soldering
10:13iron in there lots of different types of tape but more importantly behind it there's his little race
10:18car look at it all right mate hello richard isn't it lovely oh it was a bit lovelier this is the
10:26problematic corner oh it's bruised hmm yeah what that is is the wrong shape now yes has it bent the
10:33shell it has bent the shell if you open the door of truth here it bolts in at the back fine but here
10:40it doesn't want to line up is definitely a bit wonky oh mate we've got to get it right it's a shame
10:45but it's right i mean it's been a rally car since the early 1990s it's got these lovely
10:50monte carlo stickers because this car won the historic monte carlo in 2003. all we need to do
10:55is get matt to go over it because he likes nothing more than getting things the right shape that is
11:00the job for him think about it it is interesting time mark's mini coming in cars well it's kind of
11:12proof that there is work to be had from the racing world so i am going to take on board hadrian's
11:19suggestion but he he didn't say don't do any more racing specifically said don't do any more racing
11:25using cog resources and money and people yeah i think of a way around that my amazing contacts
11:33if this business becomes like a huge success it's down to me hello hello les how are you i'm all right
11:43there how's yourself all right how's the mere is it raining not as we speak if it's not check you're in
11:49the right place mate um i've got a quick question um yes how do you fancy a trip to silverstone that sounds
11:58brilliant yeah but you won't be standing around like spectating you'll be closer to the action
12:02oh hang on what do you mean close to the action ah you see i've piqued your interest haven't i
12:08you'll have to bring the smaller of your farmer's hammers yes and perhaps a screwdriver
12:12yeah yeah yeah i'll let you know i'll let you know bye bye bye
12:16right let's see who else i can rope in zog how you doing
12:30i've put two coats of color on i'm really happy with the outcome anyone can do this it's just a
12:36standard straight color and we've got 10 tanks for me to have a play with and i can literally
12:40do whatever i want so that's where it you've got to show your skill
12:46that's not paint is it no this is urea urea yeah from what animal normally a pig so that's
13:03a pot of pig pee basically yeah but it comes in a crystallized form so what we do we dissolve that
13:09in water reacts with the paint and cracks the paint doesn't come out the pig like that
13:13no i hope not yeah have you done this before no you're taking the piss you are literally
13:24dip that in get that nice and wet oh it's warm it's warm pp you don't mix this with the paint
13:29then no no so this is going to re-crystallize on the tank is that the idea once it crystallizes you
13:36put a coat of black on it and we won't know what pattern we've got until we've wiped off the crystals
13:42yeah you can see slightly but you won't get the proper effect until we put the black on plenty of pig pee
13:55right am i doing this yes please it's a brilliant theory it works on the internet
14:00now let's have a go in a professional workshop situation nurse
14:04i've just been told hammond is putting his hands on a paint gun so content for the mac motorcycles
14:13content for the workshop because richard's on a gun let's go
14:24just um clean it off now and i'm going to take just the crystals yeah leaving the silver to shine
14:30through from below right and then just gently very gently yeah
14:39it sort of reveals itself that is the random effect you get from the crystals
14:45these look like ferns here look at that it is a natural effect crystals form naturally and it sort
14:51of nature did that and then the last phase is we then paint special type of paint over the top of
14:55the whole thing yeah and where the silver is it'll shine through that paint that's exactly right
15:02and this is the smallest cog in action hey teamwork making the dreams work yeah
15:14it's quite artistic this process this is what i want us to do do that bit more add value do
15:21something clever and a bit special i have no idea what they'll make of it i really haven't and
15:25they're coming tomorrow i'll have to explain how we did it i'll be interested
15:42it's got to be careful when we unveil it and just put it there
15:51as i watch everybody getting ready for the guys to arrive from mac motorcycles i'm just beginning to
15:58wonder have i overdone it because ian and ellis are they're actually quite conservative in their
16:04in their outlook they're not going crazy they want to just set up a good functioning little motorcycle
16:09company then i've presented them with a variety of options including a petrol tank painted using pig pee
16:26gentlemen hello how are you we're in good shape how about you we've painted some tanks we've got some
16:31different stuff to show you should we just go and have a look let's go here we are
16:34are we going down if you get milk oh my goodness selection yeah that's why we've tried all sorts
16:45of stuff just to see how they come out twin color looks good that i think they look nice yeah so we've
16:51got another experimental one that we've dressed the bike up with just to more yeah i mean you
16:55you may not like it you may like it i don't know but it's just worth trying oh my goodness look at
17:00that you put it in a different outfit and it's a different bike isn't it you know i would never
17:04have thought that color it's really produced that effect but there's one last thing come and have
17:10a look at this you'll have to come around because we went a bit berserk wow it's amazing isn't it
17:16i want this one i'm just wondering can we try it on the bike and we might all go up it up on the bike
17:22no should we try it on definitely oh my goodness look at that god that looks cool that's completely
17:31changed it again cool that does look reassuringly expensive that is good we can do more this is the
17:41first time we've tried something that's really different but it definitely works so what we'd
17:46really like to do is take it somewhere where we can show it off and where do you want to do it and when
17:50it'd be really cool if we could do something like the tt there's a lot of bikers there it is
17:55the biggest motorcycle event in the world isn't it it's not a lads trip well we could make it a bit
18:00of a lads trip i'm totally up for that
18:10no i can't do that
18:13lewis um i refuse to knock on your door because it wouldn't be right okay so quite exciting mac boys
18:20they're thrilled happy day um and a really good idea has come out of it okay we want to launch them
18:25at the isle of man tt wow i mean what better place and that's where god help us you come in
18:31because it's an event it's got to have people there i want press there social media how long we got ah
18:38well soon but internet that is your thing
18:51okay got this little mini in rear corner damage subframe isn't lining up anymore just in this corner
18:58we can clearly see that we're probably at least 10 nil out the best way to straighten it is obviously
19:04to strip it to a bare shell put this car on a jig and they can reverse the impact um however
19:12it's not concourse car it's been raced through most of its life and there's no point in spending
19:17thousands of pounds so we're going to try and do an alternative way of kind of fixing it
19:23matt's hoping his improvised contraption will do the same job as a frame jig which stops a car twisting
19:34during heavy repair work i'll feed this bar up to you isaac this looks like a seven arm operation
19:42the bolted on aluminium frame should prevent excessive movement when the 10 ton hydraulic ram
19:48pushes the body shell square again well that's the theory if it doesn't work it was your idea was it
19:57oh yeah right so after looking at earlier so it's got to be eight mil further it might look a bit odd
20:08measuring mark's mini but actually it's really important because of the way a mini is built
20:14up until the mini arrived most cars had been built with like a separate chassis and then the body
20:20bolted onto that whatever body you want so the two were separate the mini was groundbreaking because it's
20:25a very early monocle car that means there is no separate chassis the body kind of is the chassis
20:31it relies on its shape for its strength are you ready yeah let's go
20:36i don't normally get nervous but i'm quite nervous
20:46are we moving yeah let's move in how much you've gone three mil so far it looks like it's pushing the
20:53back quite squarely i can see it moving the arch and it's straightened this kink out from the outside
20:59that kick's virtually gone now you're 0.8 now so you've gone six six mil that's getting pretty
21:07tight now that's that's pretty good look at that oh yeah yeah we've got seven mil haven't we yeah
21:16what do you reckon i'm quite happy with that that's about right that's bang on yeah i think we're quite
21:21good there that's straightened up really happy with that like super happy it's actually paid off
21:27i'm quite relieved now i need to relieve myself
21:39so we're pulling this dent out plan is to put your claw on there use the upright as a tensioner to pull
21:47kind of the method of straightening it out when you don't have a jig
21:51right so i get richard to just to hold the car just in case it slides on the tires that wouldn't
21:57be a bad show richard hammond off the tv what can we use your assistance please oh i wonder when you'd
22:07ask right this is primitive isn't it yeah this is mark the sandman he loves this mini and you've got
22:12it on the rack you ready yep oh oh it's moving it is moving slowly slowly
22:27that is amazing actually you might have to give this a bit of a tap from the inside as well
22:33the original logo for this company featured the legend classic car craft well yeah
22:43that is not bad is it yeah that's come out really nicely to be fair well i enjoyed that
22:48chaps thank you very much i'm gonna try to forget i ever saw it good luck thank you thank you bye
23:04zog les hey you're fancy richard sent me a message earlier about racing yeah about that
23:11he wants to go racing but he doesn't want to cost the cog any money time so he's brought along les and
23:17zog to run this car which probably not the people i'd pick but you know the basics les yeah yeah i've got
23:24an idea so what type of pressures are you going to be running about 30 and basically when he goes out
23:30you set him about 27 when he comes back in they should be running about 30. hot yeah and then
23:36if it's wet have we got slicks no this is all we've got we've got no spare anything else i mean richard
23:43did mention it overheats quite a bit we got to a point where it wasn't too bad if it does overheat
23:48that's a richard issue he's got gauges in there that tell him if it's overheating so we can back off and
23:53treat it right it flashes in there yeah but the biggest thing you've got to remember yeah this is for
23:58richard's safety more than anything right okay see the fire extinguisher yeah yeah that pin has to
24:04be out every time he goes out right okay because if he has an accident and he catches fire this time
24:09he's got an extinguisher i'm not sure what they know about racing so i'm a bit worried because at the
24:14end of the day that's my doris and i don't want it getting hurt main thing is have fun enjoy it will do
24:22and bring my doris back in one piece why are you calling it doris his name was actually doris day
24:27because it'd only last a day that's a belting answer but no have great fun all right good to see
24:33your time i don't think i would have been richard's first choice for race mechanic to be fair
24:39so he's obviously running out of friends
24:53lewis zog ziegler how are you want a biscuit you don't keep this triangle at also by eating biscuits
25:00in the middle of the day i mean okay so you're off to silverson yes and i'm gonna do your job
25:05do you use social media um i do have instagram because i never make it work i put instagram on
25:12and then i get a film that i'm okay so you have you have social media if we've gone in the search
25:17the smallest cock click on that boom and that takes us to your page nightmare mate donald trump won't
25:22just pop up like he often does well he will do yes because that's who you follow does he follow me
25:26i don't think he's carloing you but you do follow him all right so all you need to do is explain what's
25:31happening with the day you have to turn it round don't you there's something you can do to get me
25:36on do you know how to use a camera on your phone i used to have a brownie box this is gonna be a
25:41nightmare it is i warned you i will probably ask some people to help i'll find someone much much younger
25:50because the danger then is they think that you know this what's this old man talking to me for
25:54smells of piss and cabbage that's what all people smell like apparently yeah i have zero hope
26:13it's race day and all i'm gonna do is finish today's race and i'll be just one step closer to
26:19competing in the motorsport big dog league to get me over the line i'll be relying heavily on my
26:25stand-in support team les and zog tell you what half past seven in the morning for god's sake it's not
26:33normal as well as boosting team morale zog's on social media duty and i'm zog i'm director of public
26:41rule okay my hair's a mess i'm director of public relations normally but um i've been called in to
26:48do the social media things you're also helping me with mechanics oh good luck with that mate
26:53and that ends the first part of social media look at you don't you look good man slightly windswept
27:00windswept and interesting and len is holding the um machinery you were born to it you're absolutely
27:07born to it's on now we just need to upload don't we right that's brilliant that's our first bit of
27:12social media cheers let's couldn't do with that right chaps now the mission lets us not lose sight
27:19of it yes the whole point of this exercise gets signatures on my license so i can race at the next
27:23level okay let's get it warmed up i have to say this coming racing with a sort of stripped out crew with
27:34no real engineers just those two idiots i'm loving it suppose you're just having a day out with your
27:38mates i couldn't find any i bought those two i've never been a mechanic i've been to lots of motor
27:43races but you can fiddle you can oh yeah yeah i can fiddle i don't know what the devil i'm doing
27:47today but i'm happy so it doesn't matter this is our racer hello ready to go in his wrong pursuit
27:55dinky little booties right little mgb let's both get through today victory will be getting signatures
28:10on my license that i need to move up and then that's all i gotta do
28:25so it's going to be one more lap to the start line we form up in grid order
28:29got our numbers ready so we know our stuff mate red lights are on handbrake is off
28:47what the i think my clutch is on the way out i had a bad start just get it round remember
28:55it's all you're after doing here he is he's in the game
29:04be nice to get past this other mgb i did
29:12second from last ah mini i reckon i could probably get that yeah i'm through
29:18he's made another place marvelous this could be risky if he runs wide i'm going to go inside him
29:30one of us is going to have to concede
29:35and it's him yeah wait a minute richard do not overdrive yourself and break the car i'm just trying to
29:44complete the race
29:49oh shit i'm getting hot oh god
29:57it's flashing red now it's gone over 100. i think i am just gonna back right off
30:04he doesn't look very fast oh it's starting to smell hot now i'm gonna kill the car
30:10you're working yourself into a lava les this is stressful i know i can see six minutes so that's
30:20like four laps please please make it oh this is agony one more lap one more lap after this and i'll
30:31have done it that's what we like
30:40i've done it i've done it
30:45i've done it thank god
30:48never has last place been celebrated so finally next stop gin wow
31:02gentlemen thank you my race team your team well done
31:05well done what a race team it was really hard not to get carried away and blow the car up but
31:12if i hadn't finished then i wouldn't get the signature i needed so okay i nursed it and i had
31:16a great time i just want to do more
31:21zog yes one of the pit boards that you and les put out said cog pint yes yes can we do that bit
31:28yes please right we'll pick this up later another mechanical sympathy sodding thought you'd never ask
31:41the customer coming in mark my sound man i've worked with about 25 years to get his racing mini
31:50and he's already here
31:54hello mate hello hello boys i'd like to see customer working on their own car that's good
31:59it's good doesn't it it looks fantastic are you happy yes i'm very happy the thing i'm particularly
32:04excited about is that i tried to bolt the suspension up after i crashed it and it didn't fit and now it does
32:10the great sign i'm very pleased because i was involved in straightening it i played it as i
32:13recall pretty pivotal role pivotal i heard it was pivotal it was it was largely down to me
32:19i'll probably check that it's um work yeah check that it works um the other thing about this car
32:23of course because it's a race car how would it be up against my little mgb this would be a hell of a
32:28lot faster wouldn't it hmm i don't know come testing can we just be quite clear until i get a lot
32:33better there is no way am i going up against you on a track because you've done this a lot and it would
32:38be annoying i've done it a bit i'll be very rude if you overtake me i can accidentally oh no i know
32:45where to get it fixed you could take out an entire field of race cars and bring it back and have
32:49six months worth of work they've done a really nice job of it and they've treated it with love
32:55and care which is the important thing you know it's a really special car to me i've known it a
32:59very long time so i'm really pleased what they've done
33:16today we are packing ready to go to the tt and in 39 years of motorcycle riding
33:24that's something i've never done i've never made it to possibly the most famous motorcycle race
33:28and one of the longest running in the world but we're not all going as tourists this is work
33:34we've arranged a little bit of a launch event for mac motorcycles but obviously i'm packing my bike
33:40kit because you can't ride the tt and not ride the bike
33:43the plan is to cross to the isle of man by sea after meeting ian and ellis at the port
33:59james a lot of bikes hell of a lot of bikes yeah these are our people
34:11aha gentlemen good morning you managed to navigate your way north we did um i am very excited about
34:18this whole mission i didn't think i'd be this many people to be honest obviously it's big but it's
34:28absolutely crazy let's check in and let the fun and serious work launching your new brand begin
34:38to the right
34:44this is pretty cool
34:49that's a lot of bikes and i love being around bikes and bikers so i'm having a great day
34:58go on the cafe is open for all of the retro on deck serving selling teas barista style coffees cakes and
35:05right so we are at sea for a little while now yeah i think we've organized everything but let's just
35:10go through it so it's at the paramount city cafe we've got the bikes journalists have been invited we'll
35:17get awareness of the brands awareness of your bikes and have fun yeah a bit of social bit to do to
35:22just say we're on our way please come down to paradise cafe i won't say that because it's the
35:27wrong you know we know it's paramount come to paradise come to paradise that's all they need to say
35:35i really hope lewis's social media expertise outweighs his attention to detail a lot is riding on this
35:41see what i did go on then right i'm on my way to the legendary tt motorcycle race but it's not just
35:48the racing to be excited about there is a launch what's amazing is there's thousands of bikes below deck
35:57but everyone's looking at my work saying how good the paint work is it just makes you proud to put my name to them bikes
36:05what makes the island man tt so famous isn't just the fact that it's the oldest motorcycle race event
36:20in the world it's also the most dangerous with riders getting up to speeds of over 200 miles an
36:26hour on a track consisting entirely of public roads this is motorcycling's hallowed ground nearly 40 000
36:36bikers make the annual pilgrimage
36:38i can't believe we made it looks a bit like blackpool doesn't it
36:55we're officially launching the bikes tonight getting the attention of these die-hard biking
37:00aficionados won't be easy but lewis assures me it's in hand i've had a look on the phone and
37:09we've hit just nearly 175 000 views on the little video that hammer did on the ferry spreading the
37:15word about our event this evening
37:20now i was doing some schmoozing last night right and the tt have said that we can
37:26lead the legacy lap so these four are going to lead the thousand motorbikes around the full
37:3437.5 mile track really yeah never that's quite a cool launch just say just say that again we're
37:41going to be at the front we're going to be at the front showing off the bikes cool i don't know the way
37:46i'm lucky i have done a lot of stuff i've never done this i mean you can actually feel the ground
38:00shaking that's better i'm gonna stall and then the whole thing everyone on their sides soz oh movement
38:10is happening literally we're off oh that is incredible yes man sometimes the queue behind
38:24is eight miles no it's just forever absolutely incredible miles and miles of bikes every possible
38:32height you can imagine is this the circuit this is the course but it's stone walls and they pull
38:43like a hundred and whatever along here an average of over 130 mile an hour it's insanity this man all
38:50covers oh my god that's tight imagine that i've got it wrong i've hit a church
38:56they're actually waiting to cross the road did i see the sign for 19 miles back there oh i don't know
39:09means we're only halfway i need a wee already me too
39:16so now we're going to go out up into the mountain looks a bit misty up there it must feel suddenly very
39:23lonely when you're racing it's all busy and then suddenly big speeds coming up
39:34the legacy lap pays homage to the incredible bravery of the riders who put their lives on the line
39:40to race at the tt
39:50i could get a little bit emotional about this i'm a biker i have been all my life and look at this
39:56we're coming down now to balacrane which is a really famous turn wow right now it's quite graceful and
40:04flowing what it must be like at race pace i cannot imagine i think we need to do more bikes at the
40:13smallest cog it's a fact
40:21so the lads are on their way down from the uh circuit we're here at the paramount city cafe and
40:26here they come i can see jamie's flashing beacons leading the pack it's like the red arrows
40:34how's it feel having your bike running up and down at the tt then this is the most extraordinary
40:42sensation it really is isn't it 36 or whatever years ago working in your dad's antique pine place
40:48to here i'm speechless absolutely speechless
40:52respect duly paid time for business we all look lovely we're fresh and ready but what's the plan
41:07of action you've got a plan for if we get five or 50 people yes we do yeah yeah the power of social
41:14media something tells me it's going to be quite busy feeling good all my paint works on display
41:23which is really nice for the guys to see bikes looking amazing there's a lot of people coming
41:28in now they're actually stopping people at the door so it's getting really busy so it's quite quite good
41:34lewis try not to run over any of the attendees with the bike they've come to see launched
41:39it's an amazing turnout i can't believe there are people queuing outside standing room only why don't we
41:43hide ladies and gentlemen welcome to the paramount city coffee house for the official launch of mac
41:51motorcycles that's your coming thank you this is their launch and i want it to work for them because
41:58he's an old mate also for the smallest cog let's be honest we're all here because i'm guessing we all
42:04love bikes but few of us love bikes enough to set up our own mark but there are two guys here who did
42:12this is great i mean this is great for our socials i mean videos i'm getting now are just going to pop
42:17off on lights setting up any kind of mark sounds like utter insanity such a reaction a couple hundred
42:24people here probably more everyone giving us great compliments about the bike thank you so much for
42:29coming along to see us enjoy the rest of the races and that's your comment thank you how did that go just a
42:36massively positive reaction to the bike yeah to the paint work the style people loved it it's pretty
42:42spectacular what you've done yeah yeah we could literally paint any color we wanted to whatever
42:46designs we wanted out of this i think we're going to get a lot more work so tell us about this bike then
42:53so this one is set up as a cafe racer i think seeing people love the bike say how different it is
43:01we never thought that it would be this good people are looking at the bikes and really it's down to
43:07those two now it's their business it's their creation and also you know how fabulous the paint work is
43:12obviously because if you're a specialist in painting vehicles and you get to design the look of a brand new
43:18vehicle that's kind of cool yeah and the better they do the better the smaller cog does it's kind of a
43:22win-win-win right time to inspect the newbies chaps you're starting on the condor yeah i assume there's a
43:30comprehensive workshop manual no there is nothing this is the vet come to tell me if my old pet's
43:35addict we're down to three mil on the bottom where's it gone just wore away i have to do a day's
43:41marshalling i'm on the flag so you go outside i want to do the flag i have control of the situation
43:47and i can keep it up as long as i need to really
44:04you
