00:001st Infantry Division's 9-month training rotation in Bulgaria on Novosela training area continued
00:11this week, where soldiers from the Iron Rangers battalion conducted squad lot fires. The training
00:16aimed to increase the unit's warfighting readiness. We are conducting BD-6, which is entering and
00:20clearing a building. With that, each squad is going through, clearing the building, and extracting a
00:24high-value target. This will allow us to, one, build a baseline readiness across all the platoons
00:29and squads, and then turn it into lethality with multiple repetitions. The 1st Battalion 16th
00:34Infantry Regiment soldiers trained with M4s, M240 Bravos, M249s, M320s, hand grenade simulators,
00:42M67 frag grenades, smoke grenades, and anti-tank rocket launchers. For 10 days, the 116th
00:50soldiers conducted live-fire iterations of maneuvering squads through squad attack,
00:54bunker and room clearing, as well as executing close-quarters combat training in an urban
