00:00The 1st Infantry Division's nine-month training rotation in Bulgaria on Novosilo

00:11training area continued this week with a live-fire gunnery exercise featuring their

00:16nearly 15 M1A2 Abrams main battle tanks. The training aimed to improve crew

00:20proficiency and target engagement. We have a lot of young gunners in this

00:25company so getting them out here and get and seeing how they've progressed from

00:29in the simulator to gunnery skills testing to now it's awesome.

00:37This 68 ton machine behind me being manned by the 1 16th Infantry Regiment's

00:42Bandito company comes equipped with a 120 millimeter cannon or its main gun a

00:47couple of 240 Bravos and a 50 cal machine gun.

00:52The week-long gunnery fostered unity and trust amongst the tank crew members.
