00:00We've been talking a lot about the betting scandal in the UFC.
00:03And as I stated earlier in the show,
00:06there's not enough money to be made to do it without getting caught,
00:12which is the problem.
00:13Or it's just stupid to do it for a little amount of money.
00:17So it's a very hard thing to pull off, right?
00:20It's very difficult to pull off.
00:23And I find this to be a pretty amusing story here.
00:26So Vince Morales said,
00:31all this throwing fight stuff is crazy.
00:34I've been approached about actually doing it.
00:36It's not something I can live with,
00:38even though I ended up losing the damn fight anyways.
00:42He lost the fight anyways.
00:45And he was asked online, how much did they offer you?
00:48He said 70K.
00:50He said pennies, considering how big of a deal it actually is.
00:55So that's my whole thing.
00:55You want to get charged criminally?
00:57Like, so we made $200,000.
01:00It's like, all right, you're going to go to jail for five years
01:03because you made $200,000.
01:04You're almost better off getting caught selling fentanyl
01:08than fixing things.
01:09They really, it's not good.
01:12The FBI has a task force on top of it and stuff.
01:15I don't want any part of it.
01:17But the thing is, in the fight game, guys, there's a ton.
01:22And is it fixed or is it inside information?
01:25Right?
01:27There's a ton of stuff that people know inside the fight game,
01:30behind the scenes, that they will use, that they will bet.
01:35Right?
01:35And it can't be stopped.
01:37Right?
01:38There's too much of a, you know, if there's too much,
01:42there's too many people that can place the bets for people.
01:46Right?
01:46But the people that get caught just aren't very good at it.
01:50Right?
01:51I mean, this dull game, like, whoever organized this
01:53and whoever the setup man was, it was like, really?
01:58Like, you know what I mean?
01:59If you were going to do it, you sort of, you do it a couple of times.
02:02You lose in the third round.
02:04You don't roll over.
02:06Right?
02:06Like, there was just, you know, you don't bet so much money.
02:09Right?
02:09You know, there was an alley.
02:11It even happens in all these leagues.
02:13Like, Alabama baseball coach, like, two years ago, guys.
02:16It's so stupid.
02:17The guy was making a lot of money, too.
02:19But he had a gambling problem.
02:21So, he was, like, the baseball manager of, like, Alabama.
02:24And he's the manager.
02:27So, he knew who the pitchers were.
02:29He knew that the star pitcher for his own team wasn't going to pitch type deal.
02:34And he knew the numbers and the odds were going to change.
02:38And same thing.
02:39It was, like, $200,000.
02:40He told, like, he actually called somebody in Ohio and told them,
02:45go to and go and bet this right now before the public finds this out.
02:49Well, you know what?
02:50The public found out.
02:51So did the FBI after.
02:53Right?
