00:00The number one thing that was searched on Google this past week.
00:04I'm so afraid of the answer here.
00:05I'm trying to guess.
00:07There's a few things that have happened kind of in the cultural zeitgeist
00:10that make me concerned as to what the actual answer is here.
00:17Can I guess?
00:18I kind of cheated.
00:20I'm looking at what's trending on Twitter, not looking Google.
00:22Look at him cheating.
00:23That's crazy.
00:24I admitted it, so it's not cheating if you admit it.
00:26That's not how that works at all.
00:27I stole that, but I told you I stole it, so who cares?
00:31Is it something to do with the air traffic controllers?
00:36Nah.
00:36Okay, well then I'm out.
00:38All right, so the number one thing people have been searching this week on Google
00:42is when does Christmas music start on the radio?
00:47I'm glad to know that we, like, okay, is this American or is this like the world?
00:52I'm guessing it's American.
00:53I'm glad that we as Americans have our priorities.
00:57Yeah, so a new report this week found over two dozen stations around the U.S.
01:04switched over and started playing all Christmas music this past weekend.
01:08It's just a race to be first.
01:09Like, I'm with D'Amico Rines here.
01:11Y'all just racing to be first and it's messing stuff up.
01:14You media guys.
01:15That outside noise.
01:16Yep.
01:16Jingle bells and all that crap.
01:18That's right.
01:18Yeah.
01:19We ain't even get to Thanksgiving yet.
01:21Mariah Carey.
01:22I know.
01:22Oh, man, I don't want to hear that one.
01:24I'd rather hear every other Christmas song rather than that one.
01:27Some Ben Crosby.
01:28It's funny.
01:29I know you guys, it's on your timeline as well.
01:31But, like, the day after Halloween and certainly this week, I've seen a lot of people already
01:38putting up our decorations and all my screw.
01:41Hey, timeline.
01:42That's going on in my household now.
01:44Oh, that's right.
01:45Yeah, my wife.
01:46She's one of those.
01:46Yeah, yeah.
01:47She was telling me.
01:49I want to say it was actually a week ago today.
01:52Right.
01:53Don't forget to bring the Christmas stuff down from the attic.
01:57Oh.
01:58We didn't put the tree up yet, but I had to bring the stuff down.
02:02I brought it down that Sunday.
02:05I feel like it's annoying still to me, but I understand it to some degree with, like,
02:09Christmas decorations in the house.
02:11Because it's like, we pay for these for such a short period of time in the year that kind
02:16of want to get your money's worth.
02:17I imagine that.
02:18Man, she was bringing it up before Halloween, man.
02:21You know the one decoration that I'm actually, like, 100% good with is in the gallery when
02:26they start putting up the extra lights?
02:28Oh, yeah.
02:28Oh, yeah.
02:29And the streets are already in a lot.
02:30River Oaks has it.
02:31Yeah.
02:32I saw another.
02:32The only reason why I'm good with that is because that daylight saving time ends, and
02:37it's already dark out, so I'm like, I might as well have some lights in here.
02:39It's cool.
02:40It's fine.
02:41Yeah.
02:41Yeah.
02:42So, it's that time of the year, guys.
02:45And it was another stat that I saw, too.
02:48Oh, they say, I guess the top trend in Christmas songs over the past month, according to Google,
02:56are Oh Holy Night, Net the Halls, and The Little Drummer Boy.
03:01Old school.
03:02All three of them.
03:03Those are just classic, I imagine.
03:04All three of them.
03:05832, why is everybody skipping right over Thanksgiving and Hanukkah music on the radio?
03:09Point well taken, and maybe that's the reason why.
03:11Maybe we just need to go ahead and start making some Thanksgiving bangers so that we can box out
03:16the Christmas music.
03:17Maybe that's what it is.
03:18Yeah, and for all my serious XM listeners, I'm including myself in this one because I'm
03:24an avid listener of that because I can't play any music from my phone via my Bluetooth.
03:30Wait, what?
03:31That feels like that's a story.
03:32Yeah.
03:32Yeah, I told y'all about this.
03:34My phone can't connect in my car.
03:38Radio, so just straight up old school radio.
03:41I switched from the 610 and then FM, and then if I want to listen to music, I got like five
03:48different channels I go back and forth with on XM Radio.
03:52But they just launched the holiday channel on Tuesday.
03:57Too much.
03:58Too soon.
03:58Yeah.
03:59Very too soon.
04:01But also, I'm not your daddy.
04:02Do what you want.
04:03I'm just saying.
04:04For me over here, it feels too soon.
04:05There ain't nothing I can do.
04:06I just got to roll with it in my house.
04:08So, it's a mixtape in the Luke Sports Radio 610.
04:13Figgy Fig holding it down on a Thursday.
04:16So, you might want to check your address.
04:20Have you ever Googled your address or put your address in Google Maps by chance to see
04:25what come up?
04:26Well, when I'm driving, if I'm in a place that I'm not familiar how to get out of, you
04:30know what I mean?
04:30Or haven't been there.
04:31Yeah.
04:32So, apparently this happened to actually a local couple here in Houston.
04:38Took a drive to, I want to say, West Texas.
04:42Okay.
04:42And put their address in.
04:44And something interesting popped up when they put their address in.
04:48And let's go to ABC 13 with this crazy story.
04:52Tara Wright said that she was coming home from West Texas a couple of weeks ago and put
04:57in her address to get back.
04:58She said she saw it was listed on Google as Weed Delivery Recreational Cannabis.
05:03Why?
05:04Well, she and her husband have no clue.
05:05We looked up Weed Delivery Recreational Cannabis on the Secretary of State's website and no
05:10such entity is registered here.
05:12We also called the number that was attached to the listing.
05:15It said the mailbox was full of other alleged dispensaries.
05:20The whole situation, as you might imagine, made the family uneasy.
05:23They told us that at least four people stopped by, thinking their home was something that they
05:27say it most certainly was not.
05:29I've got my toddler here.
05:31This was actually yesterday.
05:32I answered the door and she, um, she's like running around and I opened the door and he's
05:37like, kind of like deer in a headlights look like, cause it, like, it doesn't look like
05:41we would have stacks of cash and boxes of weed, like in the picture show.
05:46And yeah, he just asked me, he was like, do you sell Looper?
05:49And I said, no, it's a scam.
05:51Like, you know, and then just shut the door.
05:54Well, it's not a scam because what's the scam there?
05:57The scam is using my address for something that's not there.
06:00But how do they benefit from that?
06:01Yeah.
06:02Is it branding?
06:03Is it like advertising?
06:04I have no idea.
06:05I don't know.
06:05Maybe it could have been a, just a mistake or something like that.
06:08But, um.
06:09I also, there's a few things that went through my head.
06:12But first when she was like, does it look like we have boxes of cash?
06:14And I was like, wow, that's stereotypical.
06:16But I forgot there's like a visual element.
06:17No, yeah, no.
06:18The picture that popped up was stacks of cash and weed.
06:22But the real thing that I thought was, where, where did this happen again?
06:27Because depending on it, like what state were you in that you thought you was just
06:31going to Google up the weed place?
06:33Like who's here?
06:34Yeah.
06:34So like.
06:36Yeah.
06:37Why did you think you was just going to get the dispensary straight up like that?
06:40Yeah.
06:41Google map.
06:41Well, a lot of these, as I understand it, a lot of these places are like CBD places
06:49that have a back door.
06:51Yeah.
06:51You know, there's a, there's a, we know there's a bunch of those.
06:53Where's the one that you frequent?
06:54It might be, you know.
06:58Kind of.
06:58What's your address again?
06:59No, no.
07:0085-07.
07:03Queens Boulevard.
07:03Yeah.
07:05Yeah.
07:05So, um, yeah, just make sure, just check your address once in a while to make sure it ain't
07:11nothing crazy going on.
07:12I actually saw that once, not long ago.
07:14Somebody said, they were like waving.
07:15Go to the back.
07:16Go to the back.
07:17I'm like, oh, okay.
07:18I know what's going on.
07:19So I wonder when you go to these, like these, um, CBD places, if you really want the good
07:24stuff, do you got to give a cold or something?
07:27Or do a little wink wink?
07:28I don't know.
07:29Like, I'm here for the stuff.
07:31I would not know.
07:31I'm a good Christian boy.
07:33See, I watch a lot of Law and Order where you go in a Chinese restaurant, and then it's
07:38just like, oh, it's the back.
07:40Oh, back door.
07:41Okay.
07:41That's where it is.
07:42And then back there, that's where the mafia hanging out, playing cards and stuff like that.
07:45I would like an order of pork ribs.
07:48Oh, pork ribs.
07:49Oh, pork ribs.
07:51Pork ribs.
07:51You mean pork ribs.
07:52Yeah.
07:53Follow me.
07:54Yeah.
07:55And then you go on to the back and see a whole strip club back there or something.
07:59All right, it's the mixtape in the loop, Sports Radio 610.
08:04I got to give a special salute to one of my guys, one of my good friends here at Sports
08:08Radio 610, the one and only Chris Santiago.
08:13Yeah, man.
08:13So, Chris, I actually just found out.
08:15I think Reggie wrote the news to me.
08:17I didn't see it.
08:18I missed Area 45 last night, but he's running.
08:23If you don't know who Chris is, he's the producer for Area 45 with Creighton and Bajani.
08:29And he is leaving Sports Radio 610.
08:32And you actually broke the news to me, Reggie.
08:34Yes, I saw the video.
08:38I'll go ahead.
08:39Fantastic.
08:39I wish I would have had more opportunities to, like, spend time with him to this point.
08:43Obviously, it's not like he's leaving the city or nothing.
08:46So, I'll still have opportunities in the future.
08:48But his work speaks for itself.
08:51Real quiet dude, but fantastic at what he does.
08:54And it shines through, man.
08:55He does a fantastic job where he will be greatly missed.
08:59Yeah.
08:59Love the kid.
09:00I mean, absolutely.
09:01Everything you said and more.
09:02I mean, it's a loss.
09:06But I'm sure, you know, we'll have some.
09:07Yeah.
09:07He was one of our better producers here, man.
09:10Go ahead and power rank him right quick.
09:12Oh, no.
09:13I ain't got power rank.
09:14Me, number one.
09:16Clearly.
09:17Of course.
09:17There we go.
09:18But, no, Chris is amazing, man.
09:21He actually held it down before Reggie got here when they had me and Lopez hosting the show.
09:27He held it down.
09:29Super cool dude.
09:30And for those, if you listen to the night show, you probably know this, but he's a Giants fan.
09:36And I have no idea how he became a Giants fan.
09:39I think his dad was from there, if I'm remembering it correctly.
09:42I mean, he's from here.
09:43Yeah, he's from here, but his dad probably is.
09:45Was from New York.
09:46Yeah, yeah.
09:47And just kind of by Moses.
09:48Yeah, so he'll come in once in a while in a Giants jersey.
09:53And I'm like, how do you become a Giants fan?
09:55But salute to Chris.
09:57And also, I got to give a thanks for nothing before we get out of here.
10:00I love the good thanks for nothing.
10:02Yeah, thanks for nothing to this, to the workers in this small convenience store.
10:07And you probably, what the, you probably looking at me like, what the hell are you talking about, man?
10:11So, here's a story about a great, um, pureness named Max.
10:18He came to the store and didn't get his damn burrito.
10:22The original Facebook post from his owner says,
10:24My daughter came home around 1130 last night and accidentally let out our Great Pyrenees, Max.
10:29He's figured out that the workers at our small town convenience store will feed him breakfast burritos when he shows up in the morning.
10:35He walked seven miles to town for that breakfast burrito.
10:38The C store opens late on Sundays, so we think he got tired of waiting and walked across town to her boyfriend's house.
10:44He's never been to the boyfriend's house.
10:46He then walked back to the C store.
10:48His human woke up to several notifications on his two GPS collars.
10:52Two GPS collars, which means he probably has done this before.
10:56Max left home at 1139 p.m.
10:59He arrived at the C store at 201 a.m.
11:02And then his journey is documented there.
11:04And then he's got one of those fee collars, which is like documents his walk.
11:0917,000 steps.
11:11It took him two hours.
11:12And he walked over five miles just in that one stretch.
11:16This is when they found him.
11:17You come here and nobody feeds you, so you're sad and you sit out in the back.
11:22Is that what happens?
11:25God, I love this.
11:26Get in.
11:28He was all muddy.
11:29He was just standing there looking all sad.
11:32It's like, I wanted my burrito.
11:34Thanks for nothing, man.
11:35Why do I have this burrito ready?
11:37Right.
11:37Y'all need to know.
11:38And this is the thing, right, because Max is my hero first and foremost.
11:43Whatever lengths to get yourself a nice burrito.
11:45However, you're not going to tell me that Max just got hungry and was like,
11:48well, let me go see if they got burritos,
11:49because we all know animals have incredible sense of timing.
11:53Like, they know.
11:54Routines and all that stuff.
11:55So I know that, all right, getting about 3 o'clock,
11:59about time to go get that burrito.
12:01Let's go in.
12:02He got over there like, all right, where's the burrito?
12:05Where's the burrito?
12:06I wonder if he just had a taste.
12:08Like, man, I got a taste for something, man.
12:09Let me go get this burrito.
12:10I'm craving a burrito.
12:10Yeah, let me get out here and go get this burrito.
12:13Man, I wonder how long he sat out there.
12:16Oh, you know it was a long time.
12:17Yeah.
12:17You know it.
12:18Dogs would sit there a long time.
12:19A long time.
12:19It was a couple times.
12:20I left my dog out in the backyard that used the bathroom and all that stuff.
12:24And when he finished, he just sit at the door all proper.
12:27Yeah.
12:27I totally forgot.
12:28I was sitting there watching TV.
12:29I'm like, oh, man.
12:30I'm thinking he probably just snuck out and probably out looking for a burrito or something.
12:35He's still sitting there.
12:36Still there.
12:37Nice and proper.
12:38I'm like, hey, my fault, man.
12:40I'm about a damn time.
12:41That's what happened.
12:42Whoever was supposed to bring the burrito out to him didn't bring it out.
12:45Max is just like, well, let me go get them because she clearly over at her boyfriend's
12:48house.
12:48How did she find the boyfriend's house?
12:50I have no idea.
12:51But they got that trapped.
12:53I don't know.
12:54He's never been over there.
12:56But maybe sent.
12:57He knew the boyfriend.
12:58That's a strong-ass sent, man.
13:00Hey, they got it a thousand times or 5,000 times.
13:03Max is about his burrito.
13:04Yeah.
13:04Let me find out that they're late with his burrito one more time.
13:07I'm going to go talk to somebody.
13:07Yeah, y'all better.
13:08Yeah, come on, man.
13:09Thanks for nothing.
13:10Yeah, I'm with you.
13:11Man.
