00:00Trump fumes Canada tried to illegally influence Supreme Court.
00:04A day after announcing he terminated trade negotiations with America's northern neighbor,
00:09President Donald Trump accused Canada of attempting to illegally influence the U.S. Supreme Court
00:14through a deceptive ad campaign about tariffs.
00:17In his Truth Social post, Trump claimed Canada had fraudulently used an advertisement, featuring
00:22the late President Ronald Reagan criticizing tariffs, a message the Reagan Foundation later
00:27confirmed was fabricated.
00:30Tariffs are very important to the national security and economy of the U.S.A.
00:35Based on their egregious behavior, all trade negotiations with Canada are haribuy terminated.
00:41Trump doubled down on his accusations in the next Truth Social post, declaring Canada cheated
00:46and got caught.
00:48They fraudulently took a big buy ad saying that Ronald Reagan did not like tariffs, when actually
00:53he loved tariffs for our country and its national security.
00:57The president further accused the Canadian government of trying to illegally influence
01:02the United States Supreme Court in one of the most important rulings in the history of our
01:06country, referring to the upcoming case that will determine whether his tariffs were enacted
01:11lawfully under U.S. trade law.
01:14Trump's remarks came as the Labor Department reported a 3 percent rise in inflation for September,
01:19slightly lower than economists' expectations.
01:22Trump also warned that if the Supreme Court strikes down his tariff policy, the U.S. could
01:34owe trillions.
01:36The Supreme Court's review will test the constitutional limits of executive power over trade.
01:41Trump's legal team has argued that the tariffs fall under national security authority, while
01:45business groups and trade partners say that they overstep presidential limits.
01:50Now they, and other countries, can't take advantage of the U.S. any longer.
01:54If the U.S. to the United States Supreme Court did not take the U.S. for the U.S.
01:58to the United States Supreme Court, which would have been held at U.S. trials, which would
02:00help with the U.S. in certain states if the U.S. were accused of living in the U.S.
02:02now.
02:03The Supreme Court could not be held at the U.S. fields.
02:04The Supreme Court would have not agreed to the U.S. for the U.S. in general.
