00:39dealt for a fifth round pick they set the value on that player as hey we're only going to be willing

00:45to to make this a pick swap kind of thing so if we send out a fit we'll send out a fifth but we want

00:50your sixth back and if you're not cool with that then okay you're gonna have to move on and you'll

00:53find somebody else okay but if you're in this kind of situation that's interesting okay

00:58so there's no negative about bringing the guy in so i i don't say no like there might be depending

01:03on the player it's not the consequence on that player so let's just but with player you know

01:41seventh back for the sixth you know like that that wouldn't be as much to me more like get it done at

01:47that point than anything else i feel the same way you do and i think just by nature i i would be more

01:52aggressive than they were um and nobody loves the draft more than i do but i just think falling in

01:58love with those picks the idea of those picks and saying okay you know we are willing to part with

02:02this pick but we might want to pick back or we're not willing to part with a fourth but we'll part with

02:07a fifth to me those day three picks especially those are it's just so hard to bank on getting

02:12anything in return i just would tell you their stance is hey we need more young talent on this

02:18roster the way we're going to do that is through the draft it's probably going to need we're probably

02:22going to need multiple drafts and hitting on multiple drafts to get to where we want to be

02:27as an organization that is consistently competing for championships and the more picks we have

02:32the better chances we have of coming away with drafts that we can feel proud of
