00:00Knowing what you know, and you've obviously moved to Miami from Chicago, what do you think
00:06of last night's result there?
00:08Well, I mean, for the people of New York, I pray that the policies that Mondani uses
00:16to govern and lead New York are different than the talking points he used to win the
00:21mayoral race.
00:23The people of New York deserve better.
00:30And do you think it maybe leads to an exodus down here?
00:33Right?
00:34And so if I look at Miami, and I look at why Miami is so successful, the focus on education,
00:40the focus on public safety.
00:42These are safe streets.
00:43We live in a safe city.
00:45The focus on community.
00:46This is a city that has great pride in what we've accomplished together and what we will
00:51accomplish ahead.
00:52I've lived in a failed city-state.
00:54I lived in Chicago for 30-some years.
00:57I had two colleagues who had bullets fly through their cars.
01:00I had a colleague stabbed outside the front door of our office.
01:04I had 25 bullet holes at the front of my building where I lived.
01:08You can't live in a city awash in violent crime and feel proud to call that place home.
01:16So I'm grateful for the leadership in the state of Florida.
01:19This is a great place to call home.
01:21And I hope...
01:28And I really hope that when Mondami thinks about leadership, he thinks about the right
01:32role models.
01:33And there's a lot to copy from our great state of Florida and from this great city of Miami.
01:40here we have today.
01:49So I think that is one 128 burials.
