00:00Hi buddy.
00:05Obviously you finished your first week in camp, how has it been?
00:08Yeah it's been good obviously the first couple days I was pretty nervous coming in
00:12as you know, calling you the night before and stuff
00:15but I feel like I've settled in, settled in okay, stress levels have dropped a little bit
00:19and you know everyone's been really, really welcoming and getting into training
00:23showing what I can do so yeah.
00:25The intensity of training, like how have you found that from a step up?
00:28The main thing is just you know the little details I think is probably just that step up
00:32the things that you wouldn't really think about, the tiny details international and Test Rugby is all about
00:38so yeah I feel like every day is a learning day here and then just taking everything on board you know.
00:43Biggest question for you though was the food, because obviously you are a bit of a grubber.
00:46I've seen you having second, third place.
00:48Yeah that's probably been my favourite thing, I decided to stay the night last night
00:52even though I live 20 minutes away so that probably says a lot.
00:54Who's who are you sharing with?
00:56Yeah I've been sharing with Louis Hennessy so yeah it's been nice to get to know him.
01:00I actually shared with Manny last night as well so.
01:03How are they as roommates?
01:04Louis is very tidy, Manny is fairly messy.
01:07Would you use the word sloppy?
01:09Yeah I would actually, you know, leaving his boxes over the floor, rubbish all over the floor.
01:16So yeah I've been cleaning up after Manny quite a bit.
01:19So I probably wouldn't request to ruin with him again.
01:22But if I had to yeah I suppose it would be alright but yeah not my first choice.
01:27So when did you find out about the camp and obviously getting the squad?
01:31I just finished training with Cardiff actually.
01:33Steve called me obviously a very unexpected call but one that I'll remember for a long time.
01:39I called my parents, my missus and my sister, shared the news with them.
01:44Missus and my parents are away at the moment so yeah it was nice to share that call with them.
01:52And one that I'll remember for a long time as well so.
01:55Obviously when did you start playing rugby like what age was that?
01:58Like five my old man took me down to the rugby club so yeah I've been playing a while now.
02:05Always prop?
02:06Always, no actually played centre until I was about 12 believe it or not.
02:12And then number eight until 18 so not too long ago.
02:18I mean looking at me now I don't think I was ever going to make it as a number eight.
02:22It's probably why they changed me so.
02:26If you get an opportunity obviously to wear the jersey like what would that mean to you,
02:29to your family and your friends then I guess?
02:31Yeah it would be an extremely proud moment for me and my family.
02:36So yeah obviously hopefully I get the chance.
02:40But yeah I think it would be probably a really proud day and very exciting day for everyone and people back home.
02:48It's starting to rain now, should probably wrap it up here.
02:52Happy days, cheers.
02:53Thank you Belsch, thank you very much.
02:55Cheers.
