00:40The next phase of investment will professionalise day-to-day delivery, align standards with the elite game and accelerate development across every club in the league.
00:51I think if you're a young player, boy or girl, age 12 or 14, you're playing for your local club in your community, town, village or your local school,
00:59you know, you can see that there's a pathway to actually improve and get better.
01:03And I think you don't want and have to travel far maybe to do that as well.
01:07And I think that's key when we talked about, you know, our player development centres right across Wales, whether in mid Wales, north Wales, west, east, south, whatever.
01:15You have an opportunity to improve, get good coaching, get good quality support as well, and also to play for your local club and community.
01:23And I think by doing that, we hopefully encourage young people to play the game and keep more young boys and girls in the game, whether to eventually play for Wales or a professional team or maybe for the local town.

01:39Ten clubs will benefit from centrally employed coaches, medics and strength and conditioning staff.
01:45A dedicated competition manager will ensure consistent standards. Commercial resource will grow audiences and opportunity.

02:01I think it's from a player perspective. It gives clarity. You know, like I say, it's just a clear pathway.
02:08So as a young player, you know where you're going to be going. You know what your aim is. You know what your targets are going to be.
02:15And it just gives you a clear focus. If you want to play for Wales or if you want to be a professional player, it just gives you a clear direction of how you're going to achieve that.
