Milano, 4 nov. (askanews) - Il candidato democratico a sindaco di New York, Zohran Mamdani, ha votato insieme alla moglie, Rama Duwaj, al seggio elettorale di una scuola di Astoria, nel Queens. Intercettato fuori dal seggio dal New York Times, alla domanda su chi abbia votato, Mamdani ha riso e ha risposto: "Il miglior candidato in gara". Il principale avversario di Mamdani è l'ex governatore democratico Andrew Cuomo, 67 anni, che si candida come indipendente.
