00:00This is not how I expected this story to go for our cup of joy here on the Andy Summer Show.
00:06Okay.
00:06A group of teenagers in Heflin, Alabama, this past weekend, which was Halloween weekend, decided to do some tee peeing.
00:17I've never, have you guys ever actually toilet papered a house, a tree, a property?
00:23Yeah, of course Donnie has.
00:23Yeah, I have.
00:24Senior year.
00:26Really?
00:26Jeff.
00:26Jeff, well, you wouldn't be surprised to hear that senior year we had a prank war and everybody's parents were involved.
00:32Okay.
00:33So like everybody's parents, like you would call their parents and be like, this is what we're planning.
00:37So like example, we sticky noted my buddy's car that was in the garage.
00:41Okay.
00:42Every inch of the car.
00:43Love that.
00:43But we needed to get the garage open.
00:45Right.
00:45So like they were in on it, made sure every prank was harmless, forking people's lawns, you know how it goes.
00:50So anyway, these teenagers in Heflin, Alabama, did some tee peeing, and they decided to tee peeing the police department.
01:00Okay.
01:01Which, I mean, listen, look at Donnie, it's already shaking his head.
01:04It's like, come on.
01:05That takes some nerve.
01:06That takes some serious nerve.
01:07Well, it has become a tradition over years and years and years.
01:10So the police station's roof and vehicles were completely covered in toilet paper, and after that midnight raid, the police officers called the parents.
01:20So everyone's like, oh, no.
01:22But they weren't asking, hey, we need to take your son down, your daughter down, whatever.
01:26Nope.
01:26They were saying, we just want to make sure it's okay with you, because we're going to tee peeing your house.
01:31So they found out where the kids live.
01:33That's amazing.
01:34And they tee peed the kids' houses.
01:36That's awesome.
01:36And then, of course, the kids, you know, volunteered to clean everything up, not only their own homes, but the police department.
01:41But that's how the officers responded.
01:43Now, the chief of police said, you know, listen, I'd rather them be doing this than to be getting involved in drugs or alcohol or something worse.
01:51Which, obviously, lesser of two evils by far.
01:54But how cool.
01:55Imagine these police officers running around.
01:57I know.
01:58They got to relive their childhood.
01:59Yeah, that must have been so fun.
