A horrific tragedy struck Telangana when a TSRTC bus collided with a truck near Mirzaguda, killing at least 24 passengers and injuring many more. Around 70 people were on board when the impact completely destroyed the front portion of the bus. Rescue teams rushed to save the injured as authorities moved victims to Hyderabad hospitals.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy ordered a high-level inquiry and directed officials to provide immediate medical assistance, deploy additional ambulances, and ensure top-priority treatment. Leaders including K. Chandrashekar Rao and K.T. Rama Rao expressed deep shock, offering condolences and urging full support for the families of the deceased.

00:00A road accident occurred on Monday morning in Rangkaredi district of Telangana that shook
00:26everyone. Near Mirzaguda village in Chevela Mandal, a truck loaded with gravel collided with the
00:32State Transport Corporation RTC bus. The collision was so severe that the entire load of the truck
00:37fell onto the bus, trapping many passengers inside. So far, the death of 24 people has been
00:43confirmed, while 18 passengers are seriously injured. Among the deceased are the drivers of
00:49both the bus and the truck, several women, and a 10-month-old child and his mother. According to
00:54information, this bus from Tandor depot was carrying about 70 passengers to Hyderabad. Then
00:59a speeding truck, coming from the opposite direction, suddenly lost control, collided directly with
01:04the bus and overturned. After the Kasege, at the collision, the entire gravel load of the
01:10truck fell onto the bus, crashing it completely. Nearby people reported that within seconds,
01:15the place was filled with silence of pain and screams. Many passengers were trapped inside

01:40injured passengers have been referred to Hyderabad for better treatment. Chevella Circle Inspector

01:50with the JCB and has been admitted to the hospital. Telangana Chief Minister Revant Reddy expressed
01:55deep sorrow over the incident and described it as a very large human tragedy. He ordered Chief
02:00Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao and DGPB Shivadar Reddy to immediately expedite the relief work at the
02:06site. Chief Minister Revant Reddy said,
02:08No injured person should face any delay in treatment. All seriously injured patients should
02:14be immediately taken to Hyderabad. He instructed ministers and senior officials to personally go to
02:18the site and oversee the relief work. The government has deployed all departments of the district in the
02:23relief operation. Sufficient ambulances, medical teams and paramedical staff have been stationed at
02:28the site to save as many lives as possible. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the accident
02:32occurred due to over speeding and the truck driver losing control. The collision was so severe that
02:37the front part of the bus was completely shattered. The police said that after the accident on the
02:43Hyderabad-Bijapur Highway, a long traffic jam occurred. Traffic was disrupted for hours on the
02:49Chavella-Vicarabad route. Immediately after the accident, local people reached the scene and
02:52started rescue operations. They helped the police in getting the injured out of the bus and assisted
