New York Tour Bus Crash Video: A tragic tour bus accident in upstate New York leaves five dead, including passengers from India and China, and injures dozens more. The Staten Island-based M&Y Tour bus lost control on Interstate 90 near Pembroke, crossed the median, and flipped on the shoulder. Authorities report that the 55-year-old driver was distracted and over-corrected, but the vehicle showed no mechanical failure. Columbia University student Xie Hongzhuo, 22, was among the victims. Emergency responders, including multiple agencies, rushed to the scene, and the NTSB has deployed a team to investigate the cause. 00:00Today we had a vehicle collision, a significant vehicle collision.

00:29It is a tour bus coming out of Niagara Falls back to what we believe New York City and

00:34it had about 50 plus passengers on that, women, children, and for unknown reasons the

00:40vehicle lost control, went into the median, overcorrected, and ended up in the ditch which

00:44would be on there.

00:59And at this time we have multiple fatalities, multiple entrapments, and multiple injuries.

01:27You can see behind me the amount of first responders from a lot of different police agencies besides

01:33New York State Police, fire, EMS, helicopters.

01:37Like I said, the bus did roll, there were multiple ejections, there were multiple people trapped

01:42and there's multiple fatalities, and this includes children as well.
