00:00Hey guys, Marc Rodriguez here, and one of the many spots that we hit during our trip was Chinatown, with Angel as our guide.
00:07Yeah, I know, I know, but I guess she's okay now.
00:10Anyways, Chinatown is huge in Las Vegas, and we only saw a small portion of it.
00:15We saw a lot of stores and all kinds of cool merch, like anime stuff and manga stuff, and even a retro game store that had like Super Famicom games and things like that.
00:24That's pretty cool.
00:25We also saw all sorts of amazing food, and I especially liked the sushi and the conveyor belt, that was especially awesome.
00:32And even had this little robot thing that would come around and serve you drinks, like straight out of the future.
00:37Here's some clips of the stuff we saw, though we're going to be seeing all kinds of random shops.
00:42We really didn't have time to list them all, we were just so entertained with all the sights and sounds, we forgot to film this or take pictures of that, so here's the best we could do at that moment.
00:50But hey, stay tuned near the end for more photos.
00:55I really want this Ninja Pikachu.
01:02Okay, so yep Wendy found herself some more Hello Kitty stuff.
01:06I'm going to get this Wendy.
01:08I just can't resist, Ninja Pikachu.
01:10For like a keychain.
01:12Like honestly if I wore jewelry, I'd be like getting some of these things.
01:19Well you would, huh?
01:20Like I said, if I wore jewelry.
01:21If you wore jewelry.
01:22To be honest, the only thing that would be sure I would take my money would be something related to King of Fighters, but obviously not costing an arm and a leg.
01:32But yeah, I would get a King of Fighters, State of Fury, something SNK related.
01:40Almost without hesitation.
01:43Alright, we got some Dragon Ball Z stuff, but we also got Dragon Ball Diamond.
01:47Yep, Kyle Shing, we got Pansy, we got, uh, I forgot his name is Goma, right?
01:52Yeah.
01:53Goma and, I guess Mini Vegeta, Chibi Vegeta, whatever you want to call these guys.
01:57Oh, there's another Pansy over there.
02:00Like in a different pose.
02:04Alright guys, so this is Shonen Jump, like the actual Shonen Jump newspaper type magazines.
02:09And for those that don't know, these are like these big magazines and you got stories at the time that were not, you know, who knew if they were going to hit or not.
02:16Like Dragon Ball and Bleach and Naruto and Death Note and whatnot.
02:20And if they become popular enough, then you get their own like collected manga and stuff like that.
02:24Yeah.
02:25But they all started out here, they all started out as examples, I guess, like samples and everything.
02:31Another Shonen Jump series, they end up using Shonen Sunday, Detective Connor.
02:36Yep, here we go.
02:37Check it out.
02:38I saw some fruit sandwich.
02:40Yeah.
02:41Um, Johnny, hold on, these are the original like Shonen Jumps.
02:45Where like, you know, like Dragon Ball and all that stuff, like they put them in there first and if it becomes popular enough, they get their own series.
02:51Actually, well, I don't know where it is now, but I have one.
02:52Yeah, clip through it real quick.
02:53I have one.
02:54These are examples.
02:55Of course, there are other series.
02:56Yeah.
02:57And all that.
02:58But that's just, that's just awesome.
03:00Oh, cute-o.
03:03Yeah.
03:04And they put, you know, you know, you know, over there, they're, um, they're manga series, they use their release weekly.
03:09I mean, yeah, week, yeah, weekly.
03:11Yeah.
03:12Most of them.
03:13So, you know, they just put it in here, then you know, you read it for the week, then you buy it in the next series and see what it is.
03:18This is really just a manga magazine, you know.
03:21I already own Mega Man 4, Battles Double Dragon, Nintendo version.
03:30Oh, my God.
03:31Super Famicom.
03:32Oh, God.
03:33Metal's not complete.
03:34I think that's a Japanese PS2, so it won't work on ours.
03:38Yeah, right.
03:39First place.
03:40Blue.
03:41Oh, yeah, so this is the, um, Famicom disc.
03:46Cause, um, over in Japan, they had the Famicom, then they had the Famicom disc system.
03:50So what they would do, cause, you know, they hold more memory and all that stuff, they would have the, um, disc, the diskettes and you put it in there so you, like, play the games a little better.
03:58But if I remember right, also in Japan during that time, they actually had, like, stations you could put the disc in and copy or all that kind of stuff, but I could be wrong about that.
04:07So it was like a different version of Super Famicom, you could also put a disc in there?
04:10No, no, you added a disc, you added it to it.
04:12If there's the Famicom, then the Famicom disc system.
04:15Oh, wow.
04:16So it's like one of the other, like, for example, for example, I will use Legend of Zelda as an example.
04:20So the first Legend of Zelda game, it was released on the disc system.
04:25Oh, wow.
04:26Because of how, you know, because-
04:27How large the game was?
04:28Yeah.
04:29That's why when you play the American version on the Nintendo, like, the music is a little different.
04:33It's, like, toned down a bit.
04:35Like, well, then there are other little things that their version have that ours doesn't.
04:40Mm-hmm.
04:41And, of course, there's a thing with the pose, but, you know, that's because our controls didn't have microphones in them.
04:47Oh, wow.
04:48That one looks amazing.
04:49The butterfly.
04:50It's got the butterfly key power in it, so the purple one's pretty.
04:52Can you check the menu?
04:53Yeah.
04:54So you would like the idea that you should get it.
04:55No, the same for it.
04:56You can order anything you can have for us.
04:57Yeah, tea, coffee, ice cream.
04:58It's pretty cool.
04:59Yeah.
05:00It's got the butterfly key power in it, so the purple one's pretty.
05:02Yeah.
05:03It's got the menu.
05:04Okay.
05:05So you would like the idea that you should get it.
