00:25The technicians who worked here wore a blue and gold badge
00:28with the inscription Piaggio 8
00:30and developed many groundbreaking projects that are still remembered today.
00:36Piaggio is now continuing this story with the WESPA Officina 8,
00:40which is presented in an exclusive special paint finish called Blue Officina 8.
00:45This matte metallic industrial tone is intended to evoke workshops of the past.
00:50The special edition is available for the WESPA Primavera
00:53in the displacement classes 50, 125 and 150cc
00:57as well as the sporty WESPA GTV 310.
01:01The WESPA GTV 310 Officina 8, the most powerful version of the special series,
01:06has a displacement of 310 cm and 25 hp, which corresponds to around 18 kW.
01:13It also has a color-coordinated cover in the style of earlier racing fairings.
01:19Other design features include a two-tone seat with contrasting stitching,
01:23polished brass rivets, matte black mirrors and strips,
01:26and metal elements made of aluminum and brass.
01:29These details give the WESPA a unique retro flair.
01:35Every WESPA Officina 8 is delivered with an exclusive welcome package,
01:39which includes a metal box in a special edition look and the owner's book.
01:42The book contains archive material and tells the story of the Officina 8 test department
01:49and its groundbreaking developments.
