00:07The Palm Beach Edition of the Aston Martin DB12 Volante.
00:12In close collaboration with the customization department at Aston Martin,
00:16the British manufacturer has created an exclusive vehicle
00:19that embodies the elegant coastal flair of Florida in an open-top Grand Tourer.
00:25The Palm Beach Edition is based on the new DB12 Volante,
00:29an open-top Super Tourer with a fabric top,
00:31which is equipped with a V8 turbo engine,
00:34displacement of 4.0L, around 680 horsepower and approximately 800 Nm of torque.
00:43The sprint from 0 to 100 km per hour is achieved in around 3.6 seconds,
00:49although this vehicle was created less for speed records
00:51and much more for stylish flan under the sun.
00:53Visually, the car impresses with its exclusive special paintwork in frosted glass blue,
01:00which has an iridescent effect depending on the incidence of light thanks to integrated glass particles.
01:06A reference to the glittering light over the Atlantic.
01:08This elaborately hand-applied color remains a privilege for this one-off.
01:17Fine white accent stripes and diamond-turned-five spoke rims in glossy black complete the exterior appearance.
01:24The maritime concept is consistently continued in the interior.
01:27A combination of blue and ivory leather is enhanced by red contrasting stitching.
01:34Palm tree motifs run throughout the interior.
01:39They can be found as embroidery on the seats,
01:41on the center armrest,
01:43in the engraved aluminum door sills
01:44and as embossed geographical coordinates of Palm Beach in the leather of the dashboard.
01:48The open-pore wood trim made of linear light olive ash is modeled on the palm wood in its grain
01:57and has been processed in such a way that the Palm Beach lettering is integrated into the back of the front seats in mirror image.
02:05The Palm Beach edition of the DB12 Volante remains a one-off and will not be sold to the public.
