00:00Welcome to today's video from the Car Magazine Tuning Bog.
00:04This time, it's all about the Cherry IK V23 Retro Edition.
00:08An electric SUV with real off-road charisma and an unmistakable retro look.
00:15The V23 immediately catches the eye with its angular silhouette, round headlights, matte green foiling and the so-called Retro Emotion Package,
00:23which includes, among other things, a hinted radiator grille, scratch-resistant side strips, fog light elements on the hood and a glare-free military look.
00:34These elements are not just decorative, they are intended to offer functional benefits both in city traffic and on unpaved roads.
00:42The vehicle is available with two drive variants.
00:45The rear-wheel drive delivers 136 horsepower, while the all-wheel drive version with two electric motors achieves around 211 horsepower.
00:53In terms of acceleration, the rear-wheel drive model manages to go from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in around 4.8 seconds,
01:03while the all-wheel drive model masters this sprint in around 3.5 seconds.
01:08For an edgy electric vehicle with an off-road attitude, this is a remarkable figure.
01:14There are three battery capacities to choose from, 47, 60 or 82 kWh.
01:19Depending on the combination, this results in ranges of around 300 to 500 kilometers according to the Chinese test cycle.
01:30In the most powerful version with all-wheel drive, the V23 is therefore a suitable companion for longer distances or occasional adventures off-road.
01:38The dimensions of the V23 are 4.2 meters in length, 1.9 meters in width, and 1.8 meters in height.
01:49The wheelbase is 2.7 meters.
01:50In addition, there is a ground clearance of 21 centimeters and impressive approach and departure angles of around 43 degrees at the front and 41 degrees at the rear.
02:04A clear message to anyone who wants to tackle more than just asphalt.
02:07Inside, the driver can expect an exciting mix of analog charm and modern technology.
02:14Toggle switches, rotary controls, and a steering wheel inspired by the Land Rover Defender create a real sense of adventure,
02:21while the center console features a screen measuring between 12.3 and 15.4 inches, depending on the equipment.
02:29Thanks to integrated voice control and high-resolution display, everything still feels future-oriented.
02:35Seats made of vegan leather and soft-touch surfaces create a pleasant ambience.
02:43Safety and assistance systems such as iPilot or Falcon 500 offer semi-autonomous driving functions at level 2 or higher.
02:52These include adaptive cruise control, surround-view cameras, automatic emergency braking, and autonomous parking.
02:58An overall package that is suitable for everyday use and has nothing to hide from international competitors.
03:06The trunk can be expanded to around 800L with the rear seats folded down.
03:12For the adventurous, Sherry also offers various accessories such as roof baskets, cool boxes, or camping equipment.
03:18A clear indication that this SUV was also designed as a lifestyle platform.
03:25The Sherry IKV33 starts at around 13,000 euros in China and ranges up to around 18,000 euros depending on the equipment.
03:35The optional retro package costs an additional 500 euros to 1,300 euros.
03:40This is a very competitive entry-level model for a fully equipped, eye-catching and functional electric SUV.
03:50As part of the international expansion, the model will be introduced in various markets under the name IKOR V23.
03:56This will include the United Kingdom, Australia and parts of Southeast Asia starting in 2025.
04:05Sherry also plans to open up to 2,000 showrooms worldwide in order to establish itself as a serious player in the global automotive market.
