KG   Bei Mercedes-Benz in Kamenz ist die Serienproduktion der neuen Batteriegeneration für den vollelektrischen CLA angelaufen. Im Kompetenzzentrum der Accumotive entsteht eine Hochleistungsbatterie mit beeindruckenden Leistungsdaten: Bis zu 792 km Reichweite und 325 km Ladeleistung in nur 10 Minuten.  Das Werk ist Teil des globalen Batterie-Produktionsverbunds von Mercedes-Benz und soll ab 2026 zusätzlich als „Battery ReUse Center Europe“ fungieren. Hier werden gebrauchte Batterien geprüft, aufbereitet und wiederverwendet – für mehr Nachhaltigkeit und Ressourcenschonung.  Ein weiteres Standbein ist die stationäre Weiternutzung in Großspeichern durch Mercedes-Benz Energy. Was nicht wiederverwendet werden kann, landet im stofflichen Recycling – mit Europas erster Recyclingfabrik in Kuppenheim.
